Chapter 1 10 - John says he "will remember his [Diotrephes] deeds ... pratting against us with malicious words." * This passage of scripture mentions a person who is behaving inappropriately. Many passages of scripture were written because certain desires, people, or behaviors needed to be corrected.
11 - "He that doeth good is of God: but he that
doeth evil hath not seen God." Of course it's not nearly this simple.
There are many good atheists and bad theists. Take Moses, for example.
Moses supposedly spoke to God face to face (Ex.33:11), yet look what he
did in Numbers 31. 11 - Has anyone ever done anything good? Yes. * Yes, people can be good. They can also be bad. |
