May 18, 2002 - Day 41

Thank you for today, Lord. Thank you that I was able to relax and get a whole lot of work done! Thank you that I could watch some television, play my Star Wars game, play the guitar for an hour and fast.

Bless me, increase my ministry, lay your hand on me and keep me from evil.

Thank you for the chance to check out lots of interesting things on the web. Thank you that I downloaded a new counter/tracker to use on my main web site. I pray it works really well. Thank you that it tells me all kinds of information about the visitors. Help me to use the information to better serve others.

Thank you that I worked all day and got a lot of great web work done. Help me to persevere and continue spending the necessary hours I need to make things work better and better. Thank you that I was able to add the new navigation bar to many sites. Thank you for the input I received about the colors and fonts. Help me keep things more uniform.

I hate the Devil for the way he has deceived this world. Open people's eyes, Lord. Let the spiritual people in this world expose the spiritual darkness. Thank you for showing us the light and the truth. Shine, Lord! Come into our life and heart and never leave.

Thank you fro the way You have helped me grow, Lord. Thank you for meeting me where I was and taking me to a better place. Help me to remember what you've done, what you're doing and what You will do. Thank you for being a great God with great plans for me. Remind me that you're awesome and You know far more than I do. Lift me up and help me to be content with my limited knowledge and insight. Bless me with thoughts that aren't my own. Give me something to see that I can't find on my own. Intrigue me with your power and miracles. Show me your ways and your heart. Remove the distance between us and talk to me clearly. Redeem me and purify me. Forgive me.

Thank you that I get to send a Bible lesson, soon. Bless everyone who receives it and reads it. Thank you that I've been able to write more and more great lessons. Thank you for helping me to make this ministry more professional and likable. Help me to do more of what works and discontinue what doesn't.

Thank you for the people who asked to be removed from my list after I sent them the gospel. Remind them that they have been told the good news of salvation. Convict them and bring them to saving faith in Jesus Christ.

Thank you for blessing my fast, today. Thank you for helping me stay away from food all day. Thank you that I was able to break the fast after midnight. Help me to keep fasting each week. Thank you for the way that You sanctify me when I'm fasting.

Please have that one girl who keeps sending me instant messages from different screen names and saying nothing but "hi" to stop! Please block her and give her something better to do than stalk and bother me. Thank you for the patience I've been able to have with her. Help me to go and block all of her instant messages, soon. Thank you that AOL gives me a way to block people that annoy me.

Help me to read the prophecy study book by Tim LaHaye. Thank you that I need a Bible and pen when I read it. Let me read it and study prophecy at home or somewhere besides the gym. Let me find a different book that I can simply read while riding the exercise bike. Thank you for my other books.

Let church be awesome, tomorrow. Help me to get up on time and feel energized and refreshed! Thank you that our church is really close to where we live. Thank you that the message and worship is always great. Thank you that our friends that are there. Thank you that they are kind and just like we are. Bless them and let them be sanctified, too. Thank you for always prompting me to bring my Bible, a pen and paper. Thank you that I can take great notes. Please have the Bible lesson sent by the time I awaken, so I can take my computer to take notes.

Thank you that I can be on our church's worship team. Bless everyone on the team. Help us to keep practicing and growing as musicians. Thank you for their skills and friendship. Let us enjoy playing songs together. Let us always glorify You, even outside of church and rehearsal.

Thank you that I get to read some of your Word, soon. Thank you for making it awesome and dynamic for me. Thank you for helping me read the entire Bible in a year! Thank you that I've already been doing the daily reading for 2 1/2 months. Let me be faithful and continue, so I can read every Word that You wrote to us. Thank you for taking the time to write so much! Thank you for being a complete and holy God. You have a way and an order. You do not throw things together without thinking about them. You knew what we needed and You gave it to us. Thank You, Lord!

Thank you that a new week is beginning! Thank you for all the opportunities that You give me. Thank you that I have lots of options and interesting things I can do. Help me to take care of all the different facets of my life. Thank you that I've been paying attention to my spiritual fitness, physical fitness and mental fitness. Thank you for showing me that I can't neglect any of those things, but most of all, I need You. Thank you for helping me to reorganize my priorities. You are an awesome God and friend.

Please let this Covenant end with a bang! Let me go on a two day fast or let me stay up all night. Let it be awesome and new. Help me to record some new songs. Thank you that You give me intriguing and safe things to do. Help me stay within your prescribed boundaries, so I stay safe, but walk to the edge and call others inside. Give me boldness and courage. Help me never to worry about what people can do to my flesh or any other part of me. You are all I care about. Forgive me for caring too much what others think. You should be in first place and that's where I want You to stay.

Thank you for taking me through another day and another night. Thank you for helping me make the most of my time and my life. Show me where and how I can make the largest impact for You! Lead me to the well, then to the people who need me. Let me take care of my wife and family, first. Help her to be happy and supportive of my ministries. Let me be mindful of all that is important.

Thank you that I will begin coaching soccer camps in about three weeks. I hope they go really well. Let me learn their format quickly and appreciate it. Help me to bring my own twist and personality into their system, but not step on anyone's toes by insisting on my way. Show me how to be.

Bless our unborn baby. Help her to grow up and be strong. Let the pregnancy go really well. Don't let anything bad happen. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Thank you that today was a good day. Thank you that I could go to church and learn some great things. Thank you that the worship was great. Praise the Lord. Thank you for the kind friends that talked to us there.

Thank you that I could watch a baseball game, today. Thank you that the Padres won! Help them to keep winning. Help Phil Nevin to get over his injury and help everyone else on the team to stay healthy and play really well.

Thank you for the chance to put the gospel on audio tape. Bless the people who hear it. Thank you that I can send it to people in India. Help it to get there quickly. Help them to get saved and be encouraged in their faith.

Thank you that Sarine has been helping me do some ministry things. Thank you that she is helping me broadcast my music over the internet, now. Help us to configure the program and get it working correctly.

Thank you that we could see the X-Files series finale, tonight. Bless everyone who created that show and contributed to it. Thank you that they ended things by looking at the cross and talking about hope.

Thank you that I'm like Mulder, in a way. Thank you for the people and demons that are trying desperately to repress and cover the truth that I've found. Help the people to be converted. Defend me and protect me from the demons. Thank you for prospering me. I love You, Lord.

Thank you that you've put an incredible determination in my heart. Light a fire within me and help me to always be excited about the hope within me. Praise You for creating me and for making a way for me to go to Heaven. There's no other God like You.

Thank you that I get to do work, tomorrow. Thank you that I get to have fun while doing it. Bless me and let it go really well.

Thank you for the atheists who have been writing me and challenging my beliefs. Help me to refute their arguments and tell them the truth. Thank you for taking years of showing me the truth about different things that scientists think prove the evolution of species. Thank you for the many evidences of creation. Help me to study them and know them. Thank you for Kent Hovind's ministry and how he has studied a lot. Bless him and let him have an awesome debate on Thursday.

Thank you for the many freedoms that I have. Help me to enjoy them. Help me to use them for your glory.

Thank you that I get to workout, tomorrow. Bless my routine. Help me to get a great cardiovascular workout and lift some weights, too. Thank you for protecting me from injuries. Bless my back and make it stop hurting. I believe that You can. Please remove that aches and the pains. Thank you for helping it go away for a long time. If I need to do something, show me what I need to do to help it.

Thank you for giving us a nice, warm place to live. Thank you for giving us plenty of food and things. Thank you for the free food that we got from the government. Bless them and help us to use our things wisely. Thank you that we are able to give away milk, cheese and other things because we have extra.

Thank you that we are having trouble putting the entire gospel of John on one, 90 minute audio cassette. Help us to find a way to record the entire gospel for the people in India. Thank you for their hunger for You, Lord. Bless them and help them turn to You, Lord.

Thank you for teaching me a lot about JCSM's visitors through the new hit counter/tracker. Help me to analyze the numbers and make the appropriate changes and additions to the web page. Thank you for the notes and ideas I have already. Help me to put these things into action.

Thank you for all of the awesome, free programs on the web! Help me to get the right combinations of them. Help me to only spend a small amount of time analyzing and downloading new software. Thank you for the great things out there. Show me what I need.

Give me great wisdom, Lord. Help me to think like You do. Thank you for having thoughts and ways that are higher than mine. Thank you for wanting to touch me and give me great things. I'll take whatever you'll give me and I'll give what ever You want. Praise You for being the awesome designer.

Help us to find Talar's guitar for an inexpensive price. Thank you that we've already gotten some quotes and ideas. If it's your will, help us to find one that's even less than the one we found. If not, then we can get one year without interest or payments, so that would probably be better than paying nearly the same amount, now.

Thank you for all the sources of entertainment in the United States. Thank you for the movies, gyms, theaters, concerts, beaches, churches and many other things. Purify them all. Help them to stay close to You, Lord. Thank you for the ones that love You and promote You. Let the whole world know about your great love and plan of redemption. Praise You for having a much better plan than any human or demon ever made. Help us to see what You have given us and what You have promised us. Nothing compares to You.

Thank you that I get to play the guitar, soon. Help me to have a great time. Thank you for the new music I was creating last night. Help me to create some words for the music. Thank you that I already have ideas and topics in my mind.

Help me to find some great musicians when I move to El Cajon. If it's your will, help me to find them before I move. Thank you that we'll be in a bigger place. Help us to find a house, so I can have a separate room and make some noise! Let us find a great place with a yard, so we can have people over for barbeques and concerts. Let us also find a place that accepts pets.

Thank you that it's almost 2am. Thank you that it's been a long and full day. Thank you that I was able to get some great rest, today. Thank you that I was able to tear myself away from my work for most of the day.

Bless my parents. Thank you that they could watch a soccer game and have fun. Thank you that our town's professional soccer team won! Bless them and help them to keep playing great soccer.

Thank you for the way I always miss praying in my journal when I only write prayers in the devotions. Help me to always set aside some time to pray in my journal. Thank you for the way You answer prayers and remind me of great things. Thank you for the ideas and visions that You give me.

Thank you that Sarine is going to sleep, now. Let her fall asleep quickly, sleep soundly and wake up refreshed. Thank you that she has found a daycare that wants her to work. Let her have a great day at work. Help her to have fun and do a great job. Thank you that she gets about 7 months off work, soon! Let her enjoy the time resting and being with her newborn baby.

Bless our unborn baby. Help him or her to grow and be healthy. Thank you that we are having a child in September. Let us be great parents. Help us to be patient and loving. Thank you for our genuine love and devotion to You. Let us pass that on to our child. Help him or her to be mindful of You and accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.

Thank you for JCSM. Help me to run this ministry in the best possible way. Thank you for the multitude of people that come to my sites. Thank you for the chance to minister to people on the web. Let me remember what I've learned and read. Help me to apply it to my life and never forget it. Thank you that the Bible is such a rich book. Let me also find time to read other books.

Thank you for giving me the Bible on audio cd. Let me listen to it as I read, so I can stay focused and so it can stick in my head better. Thank you for the ways You help me remember the scriptures.

Thank you for the SHOUTcast technology. Help us to run it on Sarine's computer. Thank you that it's not coming easily. Please let us work out the bugs. Thank you for the ideas You have given me for fixing it. Let me uninstall the program and download it in the proper order.

Thank you that I was able to get my body fast measured, today. Thank you that it's at 19-20%. Help me to lower it, though. Help me to get it around 12%. Thank you that I fell in the upper average category and near ideal. Let me get to my ideal weight and fat content. Thank you for the progress I've made. Empower me to keep going.

Thank you for helping me change my diet. Thank you for helping me to workout more consistently. Thank you for all the sweet people at the gym. Let me have a lot of fun there. Thank you for the relationships that I've made. Thank you that it is a much nicer gym than many of the other gyms I've utilized. Bless all of my friends there. Help them to accept You as their Lord and Savior.

Bless Amanda and heal her leg. Do a mighty miracle for her and let her know You did it. Thank you that she's really friendly.

Let this nation have a revival and turn to You, Lord. Thank you for the wake up calls You give people. Thank you for the tragic events that You use to turn people to You and away from their wicked ways. Praise You for being worthy and awesome. Remind people that You will not be mocked and ignored. Thank you for taking things from people when they put them in front of You. Help me to always prioritize You in my life, Lord. Thank you for being so great.

Thank you for the atheists that I've been able to debate. Thank you for their hostility and their inability to answer my questions. Bless them and give them salvation. Thank you for loving them just as much as You love other people. Thank you for the opportunity to talk to these precious, lost souls. Let me tell them the truth, in love.

Thank you for Randy, in particular. Help him to see the light. Help him see how he has avoided my serious questions about Jesus Christ and Bible prophecy. Let it be completely obvious to everyone how he has dodged my questions. Let it even dawn on him, so he decided to investigate them.

Thank you for the cyst on his arm. Please use it to bring Him to You. Do a miracle in his life. Cause Him to read the Bible and find that You are a real God of love that wants to save him and bring him into your kingdom.

Thank you for always leading me back to You. Thank you for letting me do exciting things and always being in them and after them. Help me to see You in all of life. Praise You for never being absent. Praise You for never getting ill.

Thank you that I get to see Jeremy Camp perform on Friday. Let me have a great time at his show. Thank you that it's in Oceanside and free! Let Sarine and I dress warm and watch a great sunset as we hear him. Thank you that he's a great, Christian musician. Thank you that he's a nice guy, too.

Thank you that we get to see Kevin Max perform on Saturday! Help us to get a great place to stand or sit. Help Sarine's back to feel all right. Help her not to get pushed or anything. Thank you that we can take a little drive to Los Angeles. Let us be safe and have a fun adventure.

Thank you for the money that You give us. Please bless our finances. Make a way where we have all the cash to pay this month's rent. Thank you that it will be very close. Give me wisdom, so I can decide whether or not to use some credit to pay rent. Thank you for giving us money for bills and food. Thank you for always providing for us, no matter what. Thank you for this day, Lord. Thank you that I could create a forum to debate the atheists. Thank you that they are already coming and posting things. Thank you for the chance to stand up for what I believe, to promote the Scriptures and to champion the cause of Christ!

Give me more wisdom and knowledge, Lord. Give me a deeper relationship with You. Praise You for wanting to talk and listen. Let me grow in You. Increase my faith and my love.

Thank you for giving me some great time of prayer. Thank you that it isn't too late, yet. Thank you that I still get to play the guitar for an hour. Let it be a great time. Praise You for blessing me and my skills. Let me play my songs better and keep writing new songs.

Thank you for the chance to put my music on the web. Increase the listeners on MP3.com. Help them to really enjoy the songs and praise You. Thank you for the recording equipment and everything you've given me.

Thank you that Sarine wants to begin a home daycare. Help me to help her with this dream. Thank you for her skills in watching and caring for children. Thank you for my typing and administrative skills. Let us be a great team as we embark on this dream.

Help us to find great furniture for the new place. Thank you that I'll be making a lot of money this summer. I pray that nothing goes wrong with the job I'm about to begin. Let that money last a long time and go a long way. Thank you for the opportunity to coach soccer and lead people to Christ. Let me work hard and do the best job I can. Thank you that I received money, today, to buy Bibles for prisoners in Texas. I pray that the Ferguson's ministry goes really well. Give them strength and dedication. Thank you that they are serving You and going where not many people go. Let others encourage them and join them.

Thank you for your great and endless love for me, Lord. Thank you that I could never see where your love began or where it ends. Thank you that I have faith in You that will not and cannot be moved. Thank you for everything You have given me. Let me understand You and your Word more. Let me understand the gospels and their historicity. Thank you for Blomberg's book. Let me hurry up and read it. Praise You for giving us your awesome Word. Let me understand more of it and apply it to my life.

Thank you that I won the Star Wars game in the auction. Thank you that the guy who is selling it to me lives about 30 minutes away! Help us to meet on Saturday. Thank you that this will save me shipping charges.

Thank you that a guy called and wanted to talk to me about being a drummer in my band. Bless him. Thank you for encouraging me with his call. If it's your will, let him work or live in El Cajon. Thank you that I was able to hear Kent Hovind debate Massimo Pigliucci. Thank you for the awesome truths that Kent shared. Forgive the atheists and the evolutionists for their foolishness. Praise You for being right! Praise You for being our God. You are awesome and we love You, Lord.

Thank you for teaching me great things. Thank you for giving me wisdom and love and grace. Change me into a person who is like You.

Thank you for the love and tolerance I have with people who hate You. Help me to love them like You would. Praise You for being our perfect example of love, even when You were hated, beaten and betrayed. Let me learn from You.

Thank you for being here any time of the day or night. Thank you for wanting to talk to me and wanting me to listen to You.

Thank you that many atheists are already coming to my forum! Thank you that me and many other Christians have the chance to share the truth with them.

Thank you for giving me wisdom to get a better anti-virus and firewall program. Help it to keep my computer safe and secure. Thank you for the wisdom to take the really sensitive things off my computer. Keep people from hacking into my system and snooping around, Lord. Protect it.

Thank you that I had fun with my guitar student, today. Bless Ryan and his family. Thank you that he has been a diligent student and learning a lot. Thank you that he wrote a funny song about pancing mannequins. Let him keep having fun with the guitar. Increase our skills and talents, too. Thanks for bringing us together.

Thank you for Ernie and how he helped me use Front Page. Thank you that he was able to take the time to email me and let me know about it. Thank you for the ideas that You give him and I.

Let me either create a little graphic or make something interesting for the bottom of all my Bible lessons. Thank you for Matt Slick and the fact that he gave me that idea. Help me to create something perfect for the bottom of those pages.

Thank you for getting me excited about writing my book, again! Help me to spend lots of time writing. Let me go to the beach and bring my laptop. Let me write for hours and hours. Thank you for the desire to tell the world what I've learned by doing internet ministry. Help lots and lots of people to decide to spread the gospel with their computer.

Hold back the Devil, Lord. I need your inspiration and protection in this endeavor. The evil one can't want me to write this book. He hates me and he hates You. There may never be a better time to write this book. The world is approaching the end and You want everyone to know that You are God. Help many people to use everything they have to reach everyone they can.

Thank you for this day, Lord. Thank you that I was able to do some interesting things along with getting a lot of work done!

Thank you that I could hear Jeremy Camp's band in concert! Thank you that they had a bunch of new songs and played them with a lot of feeling. Bless them and help them succeed. Let their upcoming tour and album go really well. Thank you that Jeremy is a really nice guy.

Thank you that Seth is a cool guy. Bless him and the Slaters. Thank you that I'm going to get to see them when I come and visit the Grand Canyon! Thank you that they love You, Lord. Help us all to draw closer to You, Lord.

Let me see Jeremy. Let him be in town and available. Thank you for his friendship. Thank you that we are really old friends. Provide a great place for us to stay, too. Let us find either a really inexpensive or free place, but don't let us put a burden on anyone.

I can remember when I was hoping I could give 20%, but it didn't look like I was going to do it. Thank you for making a way. Help us to have more income and still give 25%. Thank you for helping us make our priorities straight. Let us always give to You and your causes, Lord. You are God and only what we do for You will last.

Dear Lord, thank you for giving me a great day, today. Thank you that it was very full and I did a lot of interesting things! Thank you that I could see Kevin Max in concert. Thank you that Switchfoot had an awesome show! Bless all of those bands.

Thank you that my car got a flat tire. Thank you that AAA was there in about 5 minutes to fix it! Bless them and let them have success as they serve people who are stranded and in need.

Thank you for Sarine. Bless her as she sleeps. Thank you for her friendship and love. Thank you that she is helpful to me.

Bless our unborn child. Let him or her be very healthy and strong. Thank you that the baby looks great to the doctor. Thank you that Sarine's measurements are normal. Bless her and help her to feel all right.

Remove the back pain that Sarine has. Help it to go away. Let her continually pray about it and see your miracles. Thank you for being perfectly able to take pain away from a human body. Please do this with her and end her suffering.

Let Sarine get the tires for the car. Help her to have boldness and courage, so she can get two new tires installed. Comfort her and help her to be willing to go and accomplish this task.
