May 8, 2002 - Day 31

Thank you for this chance to pray while I listen to U2's "New York". Thank you for that city and the people in it. Bless them. Help them to heal and get over the 9-11 tragedy. Thank you for their resilience, perseverance and faith.

Thank you that we haven't seen any major terrorist problems in America, since the 9-11 events. Thank you for the ways You have protected us. Help people to realize we have been safe because of You and your love.

Thank you for the fast, trance music, now! Thank you for the raves across the world. Bless those people and help them feel your Holy Spirit, Lord. Convict them and make them bow down to You. Let them think about Jesus Christ and how He created all things. Thank you for being a good God. Thank you for being perfect and holy. Make us like You.

Bless me, increase my ministry, lay your hand on me and keep me from evil.

Thank you that I go to the doctor to get my test results, tomorrow. I pray it goes really well. I pray that I don't have anything. Thank you that the medication I'm taking has helped to cure the bacterial infection. Thank you that I only have one more pill left. Let me feel energized and let me get harder workouts in.

Thank you that I could take the night off and not play on the worship team or go to Bible study. Thank you for the way that taking a night off makes me excited to go next week. Help me and Sarine to go and not take any more days off for awhile. Thank you for our friends there. Bless them.

Thank you for all the things I did with the ministry, today. Thank you that I was able to rebroadcast the May 2002 message. Thank you for those that listened. Thank you for helping me put together my MP3 files, SHOUTcast, Winamp and everything else involved. Thank you that the computer didn't crash or anything.

Thank you that I was able to set up my associates program with Amazon.com. Thank you for the ways they bless people when others use the associates' referral system. Help it to bring some money to this ministry.

Thank you that Tim sent my airline tickets, today. Thank you that I'll be flying to Colorado in a month. Help everything to go well. Let me have a safe flight. Let me have fun there and learn how to minister to the kids and leaders at the soccer camps. Thank you that I'll get to drive a nice van from there to Phoenix and to Los Angeles.

Thank you that I've found a way to use this laptop without having it on my lap. Thank you for cooling me off. Help me to remember how to use it like this.

If it's your will, let me find a great office to do my work, either now, after we move to El Cajon, or both. Thank you for having a divine plan and will. Help me know what You have in store for me.

Bless Sarine. Help her to have a great night and a great day, tomorrow. Thank you that she has been dedicating more and more time to prayer and reading her Bible. Help her to stay disciplined. Thank you that she worked out, today. Thank you that I worked out, too. Help us to keep going and getting into better shape.

Thank you for our unborn baby. Bless him or her. Thank you for making our baby and having a plan for him or her. Thank you for caring and being smart enough to know everything and love us all.

Let me really enjoy my hour of playing the guitar. Thank you that I get to play soon. Thank you that I should be done by 1:30am. Let me use the rest of the night wisely. Thank you that I was able to work for many hours, today.

Thank you that I'm almost finished with Deuteronomy! Thank you that I've been keeping up with the daily Bible reading.

Thank you for the TV Guardian that we have! Thank you that it filters the dirty language from all of our shows and movies! Thank you that I don't cringe while watching the TV any more. Praise the Lord! Thank you for restoring joy in this house. Lift us up and help us to appreciate your ways. Thank you for making me sensitive to your Spirit. Thank you that I not only know what is right and wrong, but I also feel it. Thank you for putting your Spirit within me.

Thank you for the songs that I'll be recording, soon. Help me to have fun writing them. Help me to write interesting, poetic songs that sing of You and this life and my experiences.

Thank you for "Late One Night" and how it tells a story about the tarot card reader I met at a coffee shop. Bless him and give him salvation, Lord. Thank you for the way I wrote that song; a long time ago....hoping, earnestly that he will be saved. Thank you for the way You save people and pick them up off their feet. Help people to realize what You do and not despise someone they don't even know.

Thank you for the very harsh reaction I received from Randy. Bless him and heal him. Help him to accept You, Lord. Help him to investigate the truth.

Thank you for contrasting good with evil, light with darkness, truth with lies. Thank you for being so awesome. Thank you for relating yourself to us! Thank you for being totally beyond our comprehension, yet using earthly things to describe yourself in a way where we can begin to grasp You. Thank you for being so awesome that words could not contain You.

Thank you for accepting our groans, our silent praise and our audible worship.

Forgive us for our sins, Lord. Help us to realize and remember our desperate need for You. Thank you for appearing when we need You. Thank you for going before, with and behind us. There is no God like You.

Thank you for making life better than it would be without You. Thank you for doing what we can't do. Thank you for helping this ministry, my music, my life, my relationships and everything else.

Thank you for my friends. Bless them and draw them closer to You. Thank you that we get to see Jay, Kristi and some other friends on Saturday. Bless his birthday party. Let us have fun at Dave and Buster's and their house. Thank you that we get to have a BBQ! Praise the Lord.

Thank you for Creed. Bless Scott Stapp. Help him to recover quickly. Thank you for giving him a Christian background and an interesting and unique way to share the good news. Let close-minded and ultra-conservative people understand how You speak through a wide variety of ways and a large array of people. Thank you for being that kind of God! Thank you for being complete and perfect. Help us to see how equally incomplete we are, our pastors are and the rock musicians are. Thank you for making the ground level at the foot of the cross. Give us all humility and take away our pride. Thank you for wanting us to built on the foundation of You and not the foundation of pride.

Help people to make the transition from self-worth, to God-esteem, from pride to humility and from arrogance to confidence that comes from You. Thank you for letting these things resemble each other, but at the same time, be very different. Help us distinguish from the qualities of God and the counterfeit ones. Praise You for being pure and only being available through our change via your Holy Spirit. Let us understand that we can't buy or magically acquire your traits, we need to have Your Spirit and work to set aside our flesh and set your priorities in our life. Thank you for having great things in store for us! Thank you for being very different than this world wants You to be.

Praise You for never changing. Thank you for refusing to show yourself in the always-changing ways that humans demand You show yourself. Thank you for shouting to us from nature, from the makeup of the human anatomy, from the solar system and so many other place (like your Word). Help people that want some nonspecific, changing, self-exalting appearance of You in bodily form to get over it.

Thank you for having more wisdom than humans do. Thank you for making our wisdom look childish. Help me to realize when I'm thinking too humanly and I need to think supernaturally, again.

I pray that you change the Catholic Church. Set them on their feet, only after You have rooted the evil ones and turned their hearts to the true Jesus Christ of the Bible. Use this weird and costly experience for them as a positive to bring people to You.

Thank you for the things happening in Israel. Help us understand how they are fitting into your perfect plan. Thank you that Ariel Sharon flew to the U.S. to speak to President Bush. Thank you that he is on the side of the truth. Let Bush stay pure and keep his agenda as You would have it. Let him be wise and be cunning. Thank you for the nations that are bitterly aligned against us and against Israel. Help us to weigh these things and try and discover how they will try and attack us in the future. Give us wisdom, so we can decide whether or not to launch a preemptive strike.

Thank you that we live a very long way away from the vast majority of the Muslim terrorists. Thank you for protecting us. Thank you for giving us neighbors that aren't going to attack us. Thank you for making the U.S. stronger than Canada and Mexico. Please keep blessing this nation.

Protect us from a nuclear attack. Let us be totally prepared to confront one. Let the plans of terrorists go awry. Let them make mistakes and end up harming no one. Thank you for blessing this country, even though it is full of imperfect people who don't seem to be interested in repenting. Help people realize that we are only surviving because of your grace. We do not deserve this extra time that You are giving us. Thank You, Lord. Bless us. Come when You will. Your will be done. In Jesus' name, Amen.

May 9, 2002 - Day 32

Bless me, increase my ministry, lay your hand on me and keep me from evil.

Thank you for giving me a good day, today. Thank you for letting all of my tests be negative! Thank you for letting me have a healthy body and mind. Help me to maintain very good health.

Thank you that I got some good work done, today. Thank you for the progress I keep making with this ministry and in life. Thank you for drawing me closer and closer to You. Thank you that I'm actually ahead in my daily Bible reading! Praise the Lord. Thank you that I've developed a good habit of reading the Word each day. Let me maintain it and enjoy it a lot.

Thank you for helping me to do the monotonous, administrative tasks with my ministry. Thank you for helping me to routine tasks in this life. Thank you for making Heaven an awesome place where routine things like eating and going to the bathroom will be non-existent! Thank you for promising an awesome life there. You are my hope. I want to see the awesome place You have made. Thank you for promising it to us.

Help me to stay on this Covenant. Thank you for helping me to workout a lot and eat less. Thank you for helping me to read the Word and pray a lot.

Thank you for helping me get to the gym 18 out of the last 32 days! Thank you for giving me discipline and dedication to excellence. Help me to continue my serious and rigorous routine. Mold my body and mind. Thank you for the hours of reading I've done while riding the exercise bike! Let me do much more.

Thank you that Sarine is helping me do some work for the ministry. Thank you that she's spending her energy and time updating 141 files for me. Bless her and help her to know how much of a blessing she is to me. Thank you that she loves You and I. Thank you that she loves others, too.

Let us have an awesome weekend. Help us to find time to watch Spiderman and do some other fun things. Thank you that we have interesting plans for Saturday and Sunday.

Thank you that we get to have fun at Dave and Buster's on Saturday! I hope we have lots of fun there. Let us play some games and enjoy ourselves. Let the birthday boy have fun, too. Thanks for our friends.

Thank you that it's Mother's Day on Sunday. Bless my Mom and Sarine's Mom. Thank you that we have loving mothers. Thank you that we could take them out to lunch on Tuesday. Thank you for the ways they've blessed us! Give them special blessings. Thank you for all of my Mom's words of encouragement, the way she did Bible devotions with me when I was younger, the ways she helped me, etc. Thank you for the way she persevered even when I was walking away from You. Help me to persevere in those kinds of situations, if they ever arise.

Bless our unborn child. Let him or her grow up and become a person of God. If You rapture us when my child is younger than the age of accountability, please take him or her up, too. Thank you for being just and righteous. Your will be done. We trust in You.

I'll be up with the Son. And I'm not coming down. I'll be dancing in Heaven, free from this flesh. And you'll be with me forever.

Thank you for guiding me. Thank you for giving me your Holy Spirit. Thanks for your awesome Word! Let me always feel how alive and true your Word is. Forgive me for ever reading it like a regular book. It isn't one.

Thank you for this incredible technology that is at my fingertips. Thank you that I get to send the gospel all over the world, tonight! Bless this endeavor, Lord. Help it to get all over the world and be accepted by many people. Let people read the gospel and decide to accept You as their Lord and Savior. Thank you for being the God of the internet.

Don't let anything go wrong with my computer, the internet, their mail server, my software or anything else. Help the gospel to be sent very quickly. Let it reach the masses, Lord.

Thank you for showing me what is real and what is fake. Thank you for the things that glitter and shine. Thank you for the things I have to work for. Give me great wisdom, Lord. I have a tremendous responsibility and burden. I just need your strength and your vision. Fill me up with your Spirit, Lord. Help me to use time wisely and be a great leader.

Thank you for the need in India. Let many people who get my newsletters rise up and give money to send Bibles to India. Thank you for giving us this awesome opportunity! Thank you for giving me the need in my inbox. Thank you for giving me enough money to supply them with Bibles and tapes, so if others don't want to help, I'll gladly do it! Let the people love You more and avidly read these Bibles.

Give me a great night's rest. Thank you that I get to go to sleep very soon. Thank you that I have a warm bed with soft sheets. Thank you for the odd dreams I've been having, lately. Let me make some sense of them. Help me to hurry and write them, so I don't forget them.

Thank you that Sarine and I have nice computers and hardware. Help me decide when to get the new desktop. Thank you for the way this one has done awesome things for your kingdom. Help me to backup my files. Don't let anything go wrong with it. Thank you for your awesome provision.

Protect America from terrorists. Thank you for giving us a strong army and many branches of the government and armed forces. Help people realize that we are starting to head into dangerous times. Thank you for the ways Bush has tried to stop the violence. Thank you for the scientists who are working on disease prevention and cures for contagious diseases.

Let us understand why diseases that have been eradicated are returning in more deadly forms. Let us understand why the judgment of God is beginning to pour out. Let people make a serious and obvious connection between sin and consequences. Thank you for helping me to clean my life up a lot. Help me clean it up even more. Thank you for blessing my obedience to You! Thank you for rewarding it, too. Thank you for your awesome Word. If the Bible isn't true, it's the most incredible, miraculous, supernatural books in the universe. There is no way a multitude of writers in a multitude of time periods and locations could have written things that aligned perfectly. Thank you for speaking to people and telling them what to write and when and how to write it. Praise You for the inspiration of your Holy Spirit! Thank you for still speaking to people. Thank you for the present day pastors and ministers. Bless the ones that lay everything on the line for You. Lift up the ones that work tirelessly and thanklessly until the wee hours of the morning. Give special gifts to the ones that persevere and accept nothing less than their own very best, so they can give it all to You. Thank you for accepting our gifts, whether we give little gifts like little children or whether we give giant, sacrificial gifts like mature adults.

Help us to chew on the mature meat of your Word. Forgive the ones that have been happy with drinking the milk of your Word and never maturing. Lift us up and remind us that spiritual growth is a necessity. Move us from our comfortable places. Throw us into situations where we could only be successful by leaning on You, listening to You and accepting your miraculous, supernatural solutions! You are God and we want and need You, Lord. Be exalted in this place. Be glorified! It's You. It's only You.

Bless our finances. Thank you for already doing great miracles. Help us to never worry about money. Thank you for meeting our needs and giving me confidence that You always will. Let us have enough to pay our bills, rent, credit cards and even save a little. Thank you that we are absolutely determined to always give over 10% to You and your purposes. Help us to give 20% and even sponsor and 3^rd, need child in a 3^rd world country. Show us when it's time to do that, Lord. Perhaps when we have our child, we should sponsor another child, so it will be like each one of us is sponsoring a child.

Let me gain lots of muscle, Lord. Let me lose some more fat. Help me to stay healthy and not catch colds when I lose more fat. Remind me to dress warm.

When the time is right, let us get the vehicle that Sarine wants to drive. Thank you that she is great and should have nice things. Let her make enough money, so we can set aside enough for a down payment on the Toyota 4-Runner. Let us find a great one and have low payments and low interest. Thank you that we are well on our way to paying off our car. Thank you that the van is totally paid off and running well! Praise the Lord. Thank you for leading me to a great family, a Christian family to buy the van from. Bless them and let them know they are appreciated.

Let us find an awesome new place. Help us to always make the rent payments and never be without. Thank you for always providing for us, here! It's awesome that I have no doubts or fears about the future. I know You are in control. You always have been and You always will be. I know You don't want us to go hungry or without. I know You don't want us to hurt or be in pain for a long time.

Thank you for not wanting your little ones to suffer. Thank you for the pastor on television who was very convinced that the missing little girl wasn't suffering because God wouldn't allow it. Praise You for being faithful and even feeding the birds and clothing the flowers. You will watch over us. In Jesus' name, Amen.

May 10, 2002 - Day 33

Thank you for this day, Lord. Thank you that I could fast, today. Bless this fast because it is fully dedicated to You!

Thank you for the wisdom to fast today, since I'll be going to a dinner tomorrow and a lunch on Sunday. Let Sarine not be upset that we can't eat out, tonight.

Thank you that I could wake and do something interesting things for this ministry. Thank you for the people that wrote me. Thank you for the girl who was contemplating suicide.

Thank you that I've sent the gospel to over 40,000 people since last night! Let them read the message and rejoice at the fact there is a redemptive Savior who loves them. Let them email me and most importantly, accept You! Thank you for the chance to email so many. I pray the remaining 160,000 people can receive the gospel, too. Let them rejoice and get saved. Then, let them find a quality church, begin reading their Bible, get baptized and grow in love for You.

Thank you for this life where I've done a lot of fasting. Thank you for blessing my fasts. Thank you for showing to me that fasting is something believers should consistently be doing. Help my fasting to be awesome and dynamic. Lift me up and mold me during this time.

Thank you that I get to rest, today, and not workout. Heal my bones, muscles and tendons. Repair my skin as I avoid the tanning bed. Thank you that Sarine and I will go to the gym to workout and tan, tomorrow.

Heal my back, Lord. Give me wisdom, so I can avoid stretching it for a week or two. Show me when it's all right to do that particular stretch, again. Thank you that my other muscles have been stretching nicely.

Thank you that I received the airline tickets for Uncharted Waters, today! Bless Tim and their ministry. Thank you for the confirmation that I'll be flying to their training facility on June 8^th. I pray that all the summer camps go really well. I pray that a lot of kids increase their soccer skills and get saved. Thank you that this will be a Christ-centered camp!

Praise You for being our supernatural God! Praise You for surging through the hole in me! Thank you for telling me, in no uncertain terms, that You are God and You are worthy of my praise.

Thank you that I get to watch Spiderman, tonight! I pray that it's a fun movie and there aren't bad things in it. Thank you for the way Spiderman influenced me as a young child. Thank you for the excitement in the human imagination. Help us to dream.

Thank you for clearing up the bruises on my arm. Help them to go away, completely. Thank you for being the great physician! Thank you for healing my eyes in such a powerful way that I haven't worn glasses for months! Help me to stay strong, walking in your glory and grace. Don't let me ever have to wear them, again. Keep my eyes strong, so I can see and do your work all day and night.

Let more and more people hear my MP3 files from MP3.com. Thank you for the wisdom to put a link to them on my main site. Let people hear them every day. Thank you for the large amount of traffic that comes to jcsm.org. Let me keep uploading interesting and awesome things for them.

Let some music professionals hear my music and sign me for an album deal. Let my music be marketed, so it can reach the masses and encourage them. Thank you for the base of people you have given me. Thank you that I've made many friends and enemies through my presence on the web. I just want more of You and less of me, Lord. Let me minister to more people, in more ways, in your name.

Thank you that Sarine will be home, soon. Thank you that she spent a few hours working at the daycare, today. Bless her body and help her back to feel good. Let her and I get along really well and have fun, together, tonight.

Thank you for our unborn baby. Bless him or her. Thank you that the baby was healthy when we visited the doctor. Help Sarine to eat well and be careful. Thank you that I don't have to be pregnant and carry a baby. Thank you that I can live the same reckless life I lived before. Haha, just kidding.

Praise You for making the sunrise and the sunset! Praise You for holding the entire universe in your hand. Thank you for being so powerful, that our spiritual battles are a joke to You. Help us to reach to You and know that You will help. Thank you for being infinitely stronger than the demons we face.

Thank you for the gentle wind that's blowing. Thank you for the big, green tree outside my window. Thank you for the flowers I see, inside and outside my home.

Thank you that we can get some animals in our next place! I pray we find an inexpensive house, that has laundry hook-ups and allows us to have a cat and a dog! Please pick out the perfect place for us. I will not worry about it.

Let more things "occur" to me! Thank you for opening my eyes to a variety of things. Thank you for showing me what I cannot see on my own. You are a good and awesome God! Thank you for teaching me things all the time. Help me to persevere in my "training" or learning from You.

Thank you that "Star Wars" is coming out, soon! Thank you for the way I was so excited about that series when I was little. Help me to understand how other little ones are excited about their movies and tv shows. Let me remember how I basically wasted time from birth until I was 20 years old (with a few exceptions). Thank you that I've decided to stop wasting time. Thank you that I have a respect for people who have dedicated their lives to You at an early age.

Thank you for my nice beach cruiser bike! Help me to take it for a ride, soon. Thank you that it rides smoothly and nicely. Remind me how fun it is to ride a bike. Thank you that it has a lock and gears! Let Sarine ride with me after she has the baby.

Thank you that Blockbuster in Oceanside Blvd. has Star Wars: Episode I - The Phantom Menace! Thank you that Sarine wants to watch it.

Thank you that I get to play the guitar for an hour, later. Help me to play and really enjoy it. Increase my talents to an unfathomable level. Let me play things that are far above my head. Help me to venture out and play new things, so I can have a diverse style. Help my songs not to all sound alike. Help me to write the two songs I want to write about never giving up and having a child.

Thank you for the ways You motivate me! Help me to recognize your hand and your prompting. Help me to realize when I'm motivated by other things and when I need to quit them. Thank you for being the God of second chances and never giving up on us.

Thank you for the awesome and very interesting things You have in store for me! Thank you for being a God that created things like colors and sounds and everything in between! Thank you for rewarding your diligent followers. Help me to understand that paradoxically humble, yet powerful life You would have for me. Thank you for blowing my mind. Thank you for showing me how You are, despite my preconceptions of You and life.

Let people unlearn the things they've learned that are incorrect. Even if people have learned incorrect things for 100 years, let them see the lies in the things they've learned and repent. Praise You for being there and waiting for people to repent. In Jesus' name, Amen.

May 11, 2002 - Day 34

Bless me, increase my ministry, lay your hand on me and keep me from evil.

Thank you that my van was stolen, today. Thank you for that great shock! Thank you for the way I didn't freak out. Thank you for helping me to pray, call the police and remain calm.

Thank you that my van was found only minutes after I called the police! Thank you for that great miracle. Thank you that it still runs well and works well. Please protect it and all of my things.

I wish I had renter's insurance. I wish my insurance company would pay for the losses. If there's any way we can have them pay for it, please let it happen. I know we didn't have the insurance, so there's no earthly way for this to work. I pray that there is a heavenly way. I'd simply like the Christian cds back or the money, so I could buy them, again.

Don't let either computer or any of the guitars get stolen. Please protect every possession that we are using for You. Thank you that the things in the apartment have been safe. It's all in your hands; even our very lives. So, your will be done.

Thank you that I could see some friends, tonight. Thank you for Greg, Tiffany, Eric, Jay, Kristi, Jennie and all the others! Help me get to know all of them better. Thank you that they are believers and interesting in their own ways.

Thank you that I've been able to stay on this Pentecost Covenant. Thank you that it's not easy, but it's doable. Wow, spell check didn't flag "doable", so I guess it's a word....and I guess it's getting very late!

Thank you that Mother's Day is tomorrow. Bless all the Moms. Bless my Mom. Thank you that we could get her some nice things.

Thank you that we get to hear Jars of Clay perform, tomorrow! Thank you that we have great seats, too. Bless them and the other bands. Thank you that we get to have fun! Let us leave feeling sanctified and excited about You.

Thank you that we get to sleep, soon. Thank you that our bed is nice and soft.

Praise You for being our maker. Praise You for being so good to us. Thank you for walking us through this life. Remind us that we need You. Remind us that we can't get far without You. Thank you for giving us angels to protect us and watch over us. Thank you for having them fight the spiritual battles in the heavens.

Thank you that I could play the guitar for an hour. Thank you that I could learn "Joy" by Tree63! Help me to learn more songs. Thank you for the talents You have given me. I can pick up a guitar and a new song and within minutes, I could have it memorized and be able to play it! To You be the glory for that.

Thank you for the multitude of things You remind me when I pray! Thank you for actually helping my life in phenomenal ways, too. Help me to always spend daily time in prayer. Thank you for blessing and enriching my life.

Thank you for the open relay site that just gave me new, fresh open relays! Thank you that they are super fresh. Help me to find a great one that will send the Bible lessons quickly and efficiently. Thank you for the 39,000+ people on my mailing list.

Thank you that Sarine is helping me do some things with this ministry. Thank you that she does hours of work without complaining. Bless her and help her to know that she is a blessing.

Thank you that I could workout, today. Thank you that I read the Bible while I rode the exercise bike. Bless our gym. Bless Kenny as he gets married and goes on his honeymoon. Help him and his bride to honor You, pray, read the Word and go to church. Thank you that they are nice people.

Thank you that Sarine and I could get tan, today. Thank you that we could have a relaxing afternoon (except for my van being stolen and found). Let tomorrow be a great day, too.

Thank you that we'll lose a little sleep, tonight. Help us to wake up and feel very refreshed, nonetheless. Let us be to lunch on time.

Thank you that I have plenty of blank cds, blank audio cassettes, blank video cassettes and much more.

Thank you that I have a lot of Christian cds, even though some were just stolen. Help me not to get sad about the cds that are missing. Help me to remember which ones are gone. Let Sarine and her sister have a lot of them.

Let the thief be caught. Let those Christian cds get into a lot of people's ears. Help them to repent after hearing God's messages on cd. Thank you that they were stolen. I pray they are put to good use.

Thank you for helping me to get through hard times. Thank you for giving me a strange, inner peace that can't be shaken. Give me deeper peace. Help me to know that everything will always be all right. Thank you for giving me great power and love. Let me understand your gifts and how I should use them. Thank you for keeping me from worry. Help me to hate evil and abstain from it; whether it be worry, hate or envy. Thank you for wanting me to have all of the fruits of your Spirit. Make me a whole person.

Thank you that I was able to send the gospel to over 66,000 people the other day! Praise the Lord. Please let it get into the hearts and minds of the people. Let them see your truth and repent. Your Spirit is within me and that's my best ally and defense. Thank you for teaching me your Word and helping me defend it. You're and awesome God!

Thank you for giving me nice things, Lord. Thank you forgiving me far more than I need. Help me to make good use of what I have and not desire so much. Thank you for showing me that a lot of things can get in the way or our relationship. Help me put "things" in proper perspective.

Help the United States to seek You, Lord. Help people to abstain from materialism. Show us that it doesn't bring happiness; only You do. Thank you for teaching us the lessons we need, whether we want to hear them or not. Please teach us what we should know, Lord. Thank you for taking the time to help even the ones that want nothing to do with You. Thank you for your mercy, kindness and grace.

Thank you that I'll get to be a little earlier than usual, tonight. Let me get some great rest and feel refreshed, tomorrow. Thank you that I could sleep on a soft, warm bed. Keep Sarine and I safe and close to You. In Jesus' name, Amen.
