April 18, 2002 - Day 11

Dear Lord, thank you for this day and this time of prayer.

Thank you that the electricity isn't working in part of the apartment. I pray that it begins working, soon. Thank you that our manager came over and is taking care of it. Bless her and the management. Thank you that we have a nice place to live.

Thank you that I can finally relax and pray to You! Thank you that I have a baked potato in the oven, that will be done in about 25 minutes. I pray that it turns out well.

Thank you that today was good. Thank you that Sarine could get free grocery vouchers from the government! Thank you that it split our grocery bill in half.

Thank you for my cd burner. Thank you for the way I can back-up files and get them off this computer. Thank you for the really nice computers that we have.

Thank you for this nice, warm apartment. Thank you for the extreme heat, so hot that we had to open the door! Whew!

Thank you that I was able to edit the last of our pictures from Israel, tonight. Thank you that they turned out nice. Let me upload them and make the links for them, very soon. Let me also edit the Israel Journal and upload it. Thank you for inspiring us to do some things that could have been done already; or could have been totally forgotten.

Thank you that I could get a great workout at the gym. Thank you for the tanning machine, too. Help my skin to get tan, but not burn or get cancer. Protect me from the damaging rays of the sun. Praise You for being fully able to protect me and anyone else.

Thank you for the guy I met on the exercise bike. Bless him. Bless the other people in the gym, too. Thank you for the friendly people who talk to me. Thank you for the ones who don't like to talk. Help people understand when I'm not talkative and I just want to workout.

Please revive me and wake me up! Inspire me to play the guitar for an hour, after I pray and eat my potato. Increase my talents on the guitar. Help me to totally enjoy it and play my new song.

Thank you that we get to hear The Kry and Switchfoot, tomorrow! Bless the bands and everyone else who hears them. Help them to play a bunch of awesome songs.

Thank you for the way You tell me about upcoming concerts and albums. Please keep showing me what to expect. Help me to stay updated on all of these things, so I don't miss out on great blessings. Plus, help me to stay informed, so I can inform others.

Thank you that there are some kinks in the live, audio, webcast. Help me to work them out, soon. Help me to test the medium with several different people, with several different internet connections. Thank you for always reminding me to do things when I'm praying! Thank you for the message I just wrote to Anita.

Bless her and keep her strong and safe. Thank you that I was able to upload 3/4 of my debate to the web. Don't let Tripod remove it. Help many people to listen and be encouraged!

Thank you for the idea to put an audio clip of me on my main web page! Let me say something encouraging and informative. Help the audio file to record and play nicely. Let people feel that JCSM is more personal and modern because of the voice they can hear. Help me to say something that You would have me say.

Help me to grow in the knowledge and wisdom of You. Thank you for giving me your awesome Word. Let me continue reading it and understanding it.

Thank you for the ways that I put your Word inside of me. Help me to catch up with the verses, so I can be on track to read the Bible in one year. Forgive me for falling behind. Thank you for giving me the wisdom to hurry up and get on track.

Ah, thank you that my potato is finished. Let it cool nicely and don't let me burn myself. Thank you for caring about little things - like my potato and me. Haha.

Bless Sarine. Help her to be healthy and strong. Heal her back, Lord. If it's your will, give her worker's compensation for injuring her back on the job. Thank you that we live in a place where we can get something like this. Praise You.

Bless our baby. Thank you that the blood tests were very good. Heal Sarine's infection and help it not to bother the baby. Let her have a great, phenomenal pregnancy and keep the baby from any harm.

Thank you that I can read the Scriptures while I eat. Let them sink in and make sense to me. Thank you for the parts of the Bible that don't seem very pertinent to us. Let me get something out of the book of Leviticus.

Thank you for being a God that has specific desires. Let us see You for how You are and obey You like You want to be obeyed. Help us to be articulate in our faith and not careless. Thank you for having great order in your character, in your universe and in your commands.

Thank you for paradoxically giving us free-will and letting humankind do as they please. Help us to do what You want, Lord.

April 19, 2002 - Day 12

Thank you for today, Lord. Thank you that I could get a ton of things done on the web! Thank you for the energy to spend the last 5 hours straight doing different tasks. Thank you for helping me.

Let more and more people visit the web sites on JCSM. Thank you for the ways that I've made them and updated them. Help them to be encouraging to others as they convey biblical truths and the love of God.

Thank you that my plans for this weekend and even the sonogram (next week) have changed! Thank you for the way that You build my character by having me be flexible. Thank you that I could cope with all the changes without getting upset or demanding my own way. I submit to You, Lord.

Thank you that it is nice and sunny outside! Thank you for the gentle breeze and the sounds of the birds chirping and singing. Thank you for your awesome creation.

I pray that my flowers will come back. If not, I pray that I can get some new ones that grow. Protect them from the aphids that want to eat and destroy them. Thank you for the ones that are still growing nicely.

Thank you for the way You have made me. Let me appreciate You and be thankful. Thank you that I have faults and weaknesses and strengths and gifts. Thank you that every person has both. Help people to understand humanity more. Let us not take ourselves too seriously.

Thank you for blessing me with an awesome job that I can do at home. Thank you for the hard work that I've done in the home and outside of the home. Help me to keep doing what I should.

Thank you that the Cajon Valley School District accepted me and hired me. Thank you for putting me in their subfinder system. Let me teach in September, if that's your will. Thank you for your love and provision.

Thank you that I'm a student in good standing at National University! Thank you for the way they are treating me, now. Bless them and help the mean teachers that I've had there to great right with You and be more kind. If it's your will, let me finish my teaching credential at NU. Let me also do it for free or very little money. Help me to get some scholarships, Lord.

Thank you for our vehicles - the van and the car. Help them to keep running. Help Sarine not to worry about the van and it's reliability. Help her to trust in You. Thank you for loving us so much and not wanting us to die on the freeway (at least, yet). Help us to be safe and strong.

Bless us, increase our ministry, lay your hand on us and keep us from evil. Thank you for giving us everything we need. Help people to look around, see what they have and be extremely thankful and full of praise to You!

Thank you for your awesome Word, Lord. Thank you for your words of truth that protect us and guide us. Help us to listen and obey.

Thank you that I'm going to the gym in a few minutes. Help me to get an awesome workout. Thank you that I get to read a book while I read the exercise bike. Help me to catch up on my Bible reading. Thank you that I read 7 chapters of Leviticus last night and 4 chapters of Leviticus, today! Let me finish the entire book and move into Numbers, soon.

Thank you for the great workout. Thank you that I was able to ride the bike for 40 minutes and get tan. Bless me and help me to keep going and getting stronger and stronger.

Thank you that Sarine went and did some walking on the treadmill. Help her to get plenty of exercise. Thank you that she has a membership and goes, sometimes.

Thank you that I could bring my Bible and cd the Bible on cd and read and listen while riding the bike. Thank you that I finished all of Leviticus! Thank you that I could read 11 chapters, today. Help me to catch up to the right chapter in Numbers, tomorrow. Thank you that I've made a lot of progress over the last couple of days.

Thank you for the awesome things You are teaching me through the Old Testament books of the law - the Torah. Thank you for the way You specified loving laws to your people. Forgive them for the ways they simply disobeyed You.

Thank you for being a loving God and loving even people who aren't Jews. Thank you for having laws that referred to the "alien" that was in their land. Thank you for caring more about people than things.

Thank you that I get to watch the NFL draft, tomorrow. Let it be a lot of fun and let the Chargers get some great players! Help them to pick the best ones and even get Christian athletes.

Thank you for the schedule changes that happened, today. Thank you for the way You ended up giving us more free time and more time to relax. Help us to appreciate what You give, Lord.

Thank you for helping me to play the guitar, read the Word, eat less and pray in my journal every day! Thank you for making it difficult, but not too difficult. Help me to see how much time I spend doing other things and openly give this time to You. Thank you that I didn't decide to give even more time to those tasks. Help me to keep praying and reading your Word when this 50 days is finished.

Thank you that I have my own cable modem and it works very nicely. Keep all of my equipment running well. Keep my computer from crashing or getting injured. Thank you for the ways You have protected the things I have.

Thank you that I can live in a very nice city. Thank you for the warm weather we've been having. Thank you that we don't have to use the floor heater any more. Thank you for our warm clothes and our summer clothes. Thank you that we truly have plenty.

I pray that I can ride my beach cruiser, soon. Thank you for giving me such a nice bike. Let it not rust or get messed up as it stays under a tarp in the back yard. Keep it from being stolen. Thank you for providing bikes for Sarine and I.

Thank you for the godless people that insist on emailing me. Bless them and let them know You. Thank you for the chance to witness to them and give them information about You and your Word. Let me be an enormous light to them. Give me patience and mercy with people that are misdirected and hateful.

Thank you that we could stay home and rest, tonight. Thank you that you've given me a nice chair to recline it. I pray that we can afford a leather sofa for our next place! Thank you for the ones we've seen. I hope we can find an even less expensive one.

April 20, 2002 - Day 13

Thank you for this day, Lord. Bless me, increase my ministry, lay your hand on me and keep me from evil.

Thank you for giving us a beautiful day outside. Thank you for the nice wind and the green trees. Thank you that I live in a place that's warm and cozy.

Praise You for being so awesome, God! Praise You for being the most powerful person in the universe. Praise You for being a relationship in your very character.

Thank you that I can watch the NFL Draft! Thank you that the Chargers play in San Diego. Thank you that I can go and see some of their games. Bless them and help them to do really good. Thank you for the people on their team who believe in You!

Bless the new acquisition, Quentin Jammer. Help him to make the transition to the NFL. Keep the Chargers from injuries.

Bless my family and my in-laws. Give my parents a great time at the women's soccer game, today. Let them have fun, get some sun and enjoy themselves.

Thank you that my in-laws are going to Spirit West Coast. Let us have a great time, together. Let the time we spend together be exciting and fruitful. Thank you that they will be camping with us. Bless George and Lorraine, too. Let them be sanctified.

Give me joy, peace, love and wisdom. Give me all of your qualities, Lord. Thank you for being so loving and giving to me! Praise You for always revealing yourself to me. Thank you for being a God that shows Himself when people look for You. Thank you for giving me as much as I want of You. Help me to keep seeking and finding.

Thank you for the power and mystery of your Word. Let me read it and understand it. Help me to read the first 10 chapters of Numbers, today. Teach me awesome things from that book. Help me to learn from the mistakes of the Israelites.

Bless our worship practice, Tuesday. Help everything to go nice and smoothly. Thank you that I could plug in to the worship teach at Family Fellowship Church. Let us play with all of our heart. Thank you that we play fun and powerful songs. Help us to submit to each other and grow as musicians.

Bless my fast, today. Thank you that the day is already half over. Thank you for the chance to deny food and reach for You. Thank you for the way that You provide for me. Let me experience your presence. Give me great power and strength. Let me do your will and glorify You and edify others.

Help me to get a lot of things done, today. Let me do a bunch of things on my "to do" list. Thank you for the wisdom to make a list, so I know what to do. Keep me from forgetting the things I have to do, Lord.

Thank you that I can go to church, tomorrow. Let us have a wonderful time of worship, learning and fellowship! Thank you that our church is only 2 blocks from our house! Thank you for all of the kind and loving people there.

Thank you for the way I could put those MP3s on Tripod. I pray that I can put all of the debate and music MP3 files there. Don't let them get taken down, moved or changed.

Thank you that the Bible lesson sent so successfully last night! Thank you that over 38,000 people received it! Help the mailings to continue to be successful. Thank you for giving me the tools and resources I need to do successful emailing on the internet.

Let me spend some time at the beach, today. Let me go there with my acoustic guitar and watch the sunset. Thank you for being everywhere and showing me your beauty at the beach. Thank you that we have a wonderful thing so close to where we live. Help us not take You or your gifts for granted.

Thank you for the ways You inspire me. Let me write poetry, sing and make music to You, Lord. Thank you for touching me and moving me like nobody else could. Praise You for being my inspiration and my light! Let me be genuine and real with You and with others. Thank you for being so real to me.

Let my unemployment insurance claim go through without any problems. Bless the phone interview I'll have on Monday. Help it to go really well. Thank you for my desire to be honest. Help UI to hear, understand and appreciate it. Thank you that I will be collecting some money because I lost my full-time teaching job. During this time, let me do lots of work for You on the web. Thank you so much for this opportunity!

Thank you that I have a great job lined up for this summer. Thank you that I could teach soccer camps in Phoenix, Los Angeles and San Diego. Let those go really well. Thank you that we'll be sharing the gospel and doing Bible studies with the kids, too. Let us have an awesome time with them. Help us to meet them where they are and help them improve their skills and devotion to Christ.

Thank you that I get to meet my boss, Monday. Let him and I have a great time. Thank you that he has been responding to my emails and cultivating our relationship. Bless him as he travels a good distance.

Thank you for the things that happened, today. Thank you that I could create a lot of new links and upload my MP3 songs and MP3 debate files! Let lots of people hear them and be encouraged.

Thank you for Sarine. Bless her and keep her safe. Thank you that we got into a disagreement last night and today. Help us to get along better, Lord. Forgive us for being unkind and self-centered. Help us to see things from each other's perspective and help us to respect each other's time and wishes. Thank you for the ways we've been getting along nicely, lately. Help us to minimize our disagreements and work on ourselves more than we try and work to change each other.

Thank you for giving me incredible, spiritual strength! Thank you for giving me the desire to be very devoted to You. Thank you that I've learned that when things are going good, bad or in between, I need to take everything to You. Bless me and lift me up, Lord. Thank you for giving me awesome things because I've put You first in my life.

Thank you that I could watch the Padres play baseball, tonight. Bless them and keep their team safe. Help their spirits to be high. Thank you that my city has it's own baseball team! Let it not have to leave the city for any reason.

Thank you for the enormous blessings You have showered on me. Thank you for giving me no reason to doubt that You will continue to bless me greatly throughout my entire life.

Thank you for giving me peace and quiet, now. Please let peace remain in this house. Thank you for being the Prince of Peace! There's no other God like You.

Give me some great time of reading your Word, soon. Help me to read it and listen to it at the same time. Thank you so much for the Bible on cd! Bless my Mom for giving that to me.

Thank you that I could play the acoustic guitar at the beach. Help me to play about 15 more minutes, later. Thank you that I could restring my electric guitar. Thank you for the great time of praise and worship while I saw the waves crash, the sun set and the people play.

Thank you for the carelessness of children. Thank you that they don't worry about retirement, money, promotions or many other things that adults tend to worry about it. Give me more faith and faith like a child. Thank you for removing my worries and fears. Please keep doing this, Lord! Your presence and influence in my life can be seen because I do not worry or fear like most of the world and even many Christians.

Help me to quickly take things to You, Lord. Help me to know that I can't do everything on my own. Thank you for being faithful to me! There's no other God like You. Thank you for listening to me any time of the day or night. Praise You for always knowing what to say, too. Help me to speak and listen to You more and more. In Jesus' name, Amen.

April 21, 2002 - Day 14

Thank you for loving me, Lord! Praise You for being my God and my friend. You are my everything.

Thank you for helping me to rejoice in my trials! I love You Jesus! Thank you for being my perfect redeemer! Thank you for walking the Earth and showing us how to live. Thank you for giving us your awesome Word!

Thank you for giving me gifts from your Holy Spirit. Thank you for giving my friends in Christ the same, awesome Spirit. Thank you that I can look up, know You and feel You, even in the crisis times of my life. Thank you for making my seas calm, even when they should be rough and tumultuous.

Bless me, increase my ministry, lay your hand on me and keep me from evil. Forgive me and purify me, Lord. I love You!

Thank you for my parents, who love me and care about me. Bless my Mom and heal her fybromyalgia. Help it to go away or help her to cope with it. Thank you for her joy and godliness.

Bless my Dad and his job. Thank you that he has a good job. Let him enjoy it. Help him to get promotions and appreciation. Thank you for the huge blessing that he has been.

Bless my meeting, tomorrow. Thank you that I get to meet my boss for the summer. Let him be joyful and loving. Help us to have some good laughs and pray together. Let us think about the future and the sports camps. Thank you that he can meet me in Oceanside.

Thank you that I've been able to stick to this strict diet of 2000 calories a day or 2300 calories when I workout. Help me to continue doing this. Help me to count my calories accurately. Thank you for the pounds that I've lost! Let me get into really good shape, Lord.

Help me to find time for the gym and the tanning bed, tomorrow. Thank you that these things are close to my home. Thank you for the people there. Bless them and draw them closer to You, Lord. Let me be a light for them. Thank you that they treat me kindly and respectfully!

Thank you that my lesson on prayer went really well, tonight! Thank you that the kids listened and learned. Help them to be devoted to prayer, Lord. Help them to take time to stop what they're doing and pray. Thank you so much for the time I had to teach them about prayer!

Thank you for Troy and his wife. Bless them and their ministry. Thank you that they care so much about those kids. Help the kids to know that they love them. Let them build some trust and love between them.

Thank you that tomorrow is Monday. Thank you that Sarine is going to visit her mother. Bless them. Keep them safe as they drive the freeways.

Bless my child. Thank you that she is carrying my son or daughter. Bless the little one and let her or him grow into a godly person! Let that little one be a world changer for You, Lord! Let her or him have a ministry and know that You are the awesome Lord of all.

Thank you that we are living in the end times, Lord. Thank you for showing us the signs of the times! Thank you for showing us how biblical prophecy is happening, today! Thank you for the world climate and the countries that are aligned with and against each other. Help us to understand how they fit into your grand plan.

Bless Israel. Give them peace. Thank you for telling us so much about that little country. Help them to stop killing each other.

Thank you that my country is against terrorism. Help us to choose our battles wisely. Help President Bush to have wisdom about when to fight and who to fight! Thank you that he is our President. Let him have good advisors, Lord. Thank you that he is a believer in You.

Thank you for his outspoken stance against countries that harbor and pay for terrorists. Help the evil people in this world to be afraid of You. Help them to repent before it's too late. Even let Osama bin Laden turn to You in repentance. Thank you for loving people that are difficult for us to love. Give us love for our enemies, like You have commanded.

Thank you for this prayer journal, Lord. Thank you for the chance to stop everything and pray to You. Thank you for the discipline and self-control to pray to You for 30 minutes. Increase my self-control and discipline, Lord. Let me be able to pray for 45 minutes a day after this is over! Praise You for helping me to continually challenge myself!

Let me understand how my brain operates. Thank you for making me a unique individual. Let me understand how I respond to challenges and which kinds of things I can do well. Thank you that this 50 day challenge is tailored to me and is working for me. Praise You!

Give me more knowledge of You, Lord. I need to stay by your side and learn from You. Thank you for being willing to teach me and reveal yourself to me (and everyone else who seeks You)! Thank you for giving me more than I could ever gain on my own. Thank you for giving me awesome, intangible things. Thank you for being my eternal Father!

Thank you that I'm planning to move at the end of August. Please let everything go smoothly between now and then. Thank you that I have many things planned. Thank you for prompting me to move closer to my parents. Let them enjoy being with the baby and with Sarine and I. Help Sarine not to feel homesick or anything. Please meet her needs and my needs. Show us both some awesome friends and a youth group or church group where we can serve You.

Thank you for the web development I've done. Show me if there's a great web page maker and help me to make even better web pages. Let me have discernment, so I can make web pages that are awesome, but not inappropriately large or anything. Thank you for the simplicity in the Bible and the simplicity in the faith that we need to have. Nonetheless, let me have more skills in creating web pages for your glory.

Thank you for the chance to play the guitar for an hour, today! Thank you for the new strings I put on my guitar! Thank you for the new tunes I''m making. Let them turn into awesome songs that sing of your glory. Thank you for the old songs that I play, too.

Thank you for letting me be on the worship team at church! Thank you that they needed me. Help me to learn the song that they gave me. Thank you that I have a tape and chords. Increase my skill, Lord. Let me find the notes and play it like it was written (or even better!).

Thank you that I'm going to write the devotions, tomorrow. Help me to do it without hesitation and without reservation (I don't know, those words just happened to rhyme). Anyhow, help me to do plenty of research, listen to your Spirit and write what I should. Help me to write them before it gets really late in the evening. Thank you for the ability to do this ministry. It's all because of You, Lord.

Thank you for the 39,000+ email addresses on my ministry list! Thank you for the way that I can reach them all in a few hours. Help the email system to continue to work well. Don't let the Devil or his fallen angels get in the way. Thank you for the incredible ways you've protected and prospered this ministry. Thank you for having your hand on us, mightily.

Increase the faith of those at our youth group. Let them grow in You, Lord. Thank you that we have a fun night planned for Friday! Help us to have an incredible time at Magic Mountain. Since Sarine can't go on the rides, let me find someone to ride with. Provide the right person or people, so I'm not the "odd man out". Help comfort the other people that are going, so they don't have to worry about anything like that. Thank you that we can hear Audio Adrenaline and Switchfoot and go on all the rides for only $20! Praise the Lord. Help me to get there plenty early. If it's your will, let me go with Neil and have fun with him. Also, if it's your will, let his friend be able to go. At any rate, though, your will be done.

Thank you for the new possibilities for ministry, like live, audio streaming. Let me learn that art and perfect it before I jump in and use it. Let it be a new and exciting way to share the good news. Plus, help me to record the live MP3 for my web site, so people will get an audio welcome when they click on it. Help it not to interfere with the music that is playing in the background. Let me find out why the music doesn't play in the background for my machines, but it does for others! Hmmmm, that's an odd phenomena.

Thank you for the new book I ordered, today! Thank you for the recommendation to get and read "The Coming Prince" by Sir Robert Anderson. Thank you that he wrote such an awesome book of prophecy over 25 years ago and it still stands, today. Let me read it and soak it in. Thank you for the other awesome books I have, too. Help me to read them, but most of all, help me to read the Bible!

Thank you that I heard a great sermon, today. Bless Pastor Mike and his wife. Thank you that the worship was really good, too! Thank you for the way those people worship and pour out their heart to You. Thank you that we learned about being filled with the Holy Spirit, today! Thank you for showing us about tongues. Help people to understand what your Word is saying about the Holy Spirit and tongues. Thank you for helping me grow to a better knowledge of these things and not being satisfied with ultraconservative viewpoints. Thank you that I not only have an empirical knowledge of tongues, but a biblical knowledge of it, too. Thank you that I could relate to Pastor Mike's story about being filled with the Holy Spirit and speaking in tongues. Bless him and his ministry.

Dear Lord, thank you for the chance to relax and pray, now. Bless me, increase my ministry, lay your hand on me and keep me from evil.

Thank you that Sarine and I could go and hear Dr. Craig Hazen. Thank you for giving us a great trip there and back. Thank you for protecting us and helping us to get there on time.

Thank you for the awesome video on Mormonism. Thank you that we could learn about the translation of the Book of Abraham. Thank you for all of the people who went to the trouble of putting together the video, doing the research, giving testimonials, etc. Bless them greatly.

Help people to see the video and turn to You. Praise You for giving us answers to tough questions. Thank you for making the Bible above reproach!

Let us know scholarly things, so we can reach the scholarly. Thank you for the awesome things that You teach us. Let us learn from You and observe your ways.

Thank you that it's getting late. Keep me awake and aware, so I can pray to You.

Thank you that Sarine has spent 30 minutes praying each of the last two days. Help her to keep it up. Thank you that she loves You.

Thank you that worship rehearsal went well, today. Thank you that I can jam with some great musicians who love You. Lift us up. Help us to glorify You, Lord. Thank you for our talents. Please increase them. Thank you for giving us great instruments, so we can praise your name.

Thank you for the devotions that are still sending! Help them to be totally sent by the time I get up. Let all the recipients enjoy them. Let nobody on the list be deprived of the devotions. Let them get to everyone, Lord.

Thank you for the idea, tonight, to write a book on internet ministry! Let me pen it very soon. Let it be groundbreaking and a book for future generations to read and use. Thank you for all of the hoops I've jumped through in order to do your will on the web. Let me tell my story and tell what works and what doesn't work.

Let there be more and more people involved with internet ministry. Thank you for making me one of the very first people to do it. Thank you for making my ministry one of the biggest ministries and definitely one of the biggest internet ministries. Let me be wise and use it for your glory.

Thank you for the way that JCSM is an overflowing of your Spirit. Thank you for filling me up so much that I overflow. Thank you for giving me awesome things, Lord.

Thank you for this chance to stop and pray, Lord. Thank you that it's late, but You and I are still awake.

Bless me, increase my ministry, lay your hand on me and keep me from evil. Praise You for being such a good God - one who answers prayers and leads His people. Thank you for being so worthy of our praise and devotion!

Thank you for making it rain. Thank you for drying the rain with the sun. Thank you for feeding the animals and insects. Praise You for knowing how to sustain everything that You made. Help us to understand your ways and your intentions.

Thank you for giving us your awesome Word. Thank you for the prophecies in it. Let us read it, love it and understand it.

Thank you for giving us a great time at Bible study. Bless all of those kids. Thank you that they take the time to learn about You, sing your praises and socialize with their friends. Thank you that they want to know You better. Light a fire in them and help them to be changed forever. Plus, help them to be a light to their families and their communities.

Thank you for the chance to play more worship songs with the worship band! Bless all of the musicians in it. Help us to become better leaders, better Christians and better worshipers. Thank you for meeting us where we are and taking us where You want us to be, Lord.

Thank you that I could workout, today. Thank you for the way You are forming my body. Thank you that I burned over 300 calories on the exercise bike! Help me to continue going there and working out. Give me great passion for health and help me to endure. Give me a second wind, after I ride the bike, so I can lift weights, too. Thank you for the energy and strength You give me. Let it be wonderful for her home daycare dream and for my work-at-home dream. Let is be totally happy with our occupations, Lord. Help us to glorify You and enjoy each other's company. Thank you for the ways that You lead and direct us, even when we aren't ready or think we know a different way. Show us what You want and help us to do it.

Help that company in Bombay to hurry up and release my domain name. Thank you that they were able to freely host my site for several months. Let them release it, immediately, though.

Give me energy and passion to write my book about internet ministry. Let it be the first of it's kind and a sort of Bible or foundational text for all future web ministries. Thank you for the many things that I've tried and done. Let me be able to write this book, find a publisher and possibly even an editor. Let me be able to market it and sell it on Amazon.com and in book stores. Plus, let Christian book stores pick it up and sell it. Increase my writing skills and help me to prepare and write a very coherent, encouraging and informative book on web ministry.

Thank you for the many things I've done to reach people. Thank you for the many sites that I've gotten to lead people to the Lord. Thank you for the way people find my ministry on search engines, in newspapers and in magazines. Let them keep finding You, Lord.

Thank you that I get to sleep, soon! Thank you that I can rest, tomorrow. Let me get a bunch of work done, too. Thank you that I can go to the gym.

Thank you for the idea to stop working from 7pm - 11pm. Help me to keep doing that. Thank you for the way it relaxed me, energized me and gave me some time to spend with Sarine. Let me see that it's wise to take some time to rest. Help me to work before and after those times, though.

Thank you for the struggle I'm having with Tripod. Help them to get their act together. Thank you for the way You provided for me when they took down my music and debate files. Thank you for being sovereign and supplying an awesome alternative, immediately.

Thank you for the dreams that You give me. Help me to make sense of them. Thank you for the things You teach me through them. Let me analyze them and understand the symbolism. Thank you for the warnings, the admonitions, the exhortations and the urges to pray for certain people. To You be the glory.

Thank you for this great day, Lord! Thank you that it's basically over.

Thank you that I had a great workout. Help my muscles to recover and get stronger. Thank you that I rode the exercise bike for a solid 30 minutes.

Thank you for being such a great and awesome God. Praise You for being so worthy of our devotion and love. We lift your name and praise You.

Thank you that I can help Pastor Troy with his John assignment. Let the kids read John and really like it. Thank you that I just taught it and I still have the quizzes and tests that I made. Let them be of assistance to them.

I pray that I don't have an infection. I hope what I saw wasn't an infection in my body. Let it just be a one time thing and a passing cold. If I am sick, please heal me, Lord! You can heal me in an instant, so fill me with your Holy Spirit and remove my infirmities, Lord! Only You have the power to heal and restore.

Thank you for the fact that we have human bodies now, but we'll have heavenly bodies later. Thank you for letting these bodies get colds and things that probably seem silly or at least very foreign to the angels. Let humankind lean on You when we are weak. Thank you for showing us your power in a mighty way when we pray to You when we're weak.

Thank you that my Pentecost Covenant is going really well. Thank you for blessing me and helping me get through it. Thank you for the discipline to eat less, play the guitar for an hour each day, pray for 30 minutes a day and read the Word every day! Thank you for giving me power to stick to this schedule.

Please let me wake up and feel very well rested, tomorrow. Help us to get to Costa Mesa before 1pm, so we can get the tickets to Magic Mountain. Thank you that we have the opportunity to go! Bless everyone in attendance. I pray that we can get really close to Audio Adrenaline. Thank you for that awesome band. Thank you for Switchfoot, too. Let us enjoy their music and glorify You.

Thank you that I didn't eat my full 2300 calories, today. Thank you that I saved some calories, so I could have a late night snack! Thanks for all of the yummy food around this house. Help me to always eat in moderation. Help me to even count what I'm eating, so I don't overeat.

Thank you for Ernie and how he's been a blessing to me. Thank you that he's a Christian and a good businessman. Help me to be an encouragement to him. Thank you that he's helping me get my web pages to his server. Thank you that I was able to upload all of my pictures from the 2001 Israel trip!

Help me to transfer everything to the new server and change all of the links. Give me a lot of endurance and strength as I try and complete this task by the end of next week. Thank you for Sarine and how she's willing to help me do anything. Thank you for the wisdom to set up different directories. Show me what I need to do and how I should lay the groundwork before I upload everything and let it go.

Thank you that I have a new and different program to operate. Let it be more and more user-friendly. Thank you that Ernie has a good system and is planning to simplify and improve it.

Thank you that my site will look more professional and be more reliable by the beginning of May! Thank you that I won't have to pay AOL the extra $15 a month for having my files on their server. Thank you for all of my great books! Thank you that I was able to read my Bible, today, and read 6 chapters of Numbers. Help me to catch up to where I should be in the daily Bible reading. Thank you for the other books I have. Help me understand that when I catch up on my Bible reading, I can read other books more easily and more often. Let me get to a place where I can start my day with reading my 3 chapters of the Bible.

Thank you for Amy and how she purchased my debate on cd. Bless her and keep her strong and safe. Thank you that she wants to grow in her faith and support JCSM! Thank you for the chance to get the .mp3 from Reggie, change it to a .wav file and burn it. Thank you for the odd struggle it was to do that! Perhaps it was such a struggle because You knew that people like Amy were going to want it and need it.

Help me to be wise with marketing and/or selling the debate cds, my music cds and the Israel pictures. Thank you for these wonderful things. Let me sell them for the right price and sell them in the right ways.

Thank you for loving me, Lord! Thank you for helping me grow in my personal relationship with You. Thank you that I'm more interested in being by your side, getting to know You and telling others about You than I am about much anything else. Praise You for helping me set my priorities where You want them. Thank you for all the different kinds of people out there and thank you that I am like this. Help me to understand myself. Help me to understand when and how I'm need. Thank you for my kind friends! Thank you for Charlie and his love for You and I. Thank you that You have reunited us after many years of being apart. Thank you that he is still keeping the faith and growing in You. Help him to ask the big questions and find the answers. Thank you that he is scientifically minded. Let him do really well in his Masters degree classes. Let him have a light burden.

Bless his wife and help her to become a Christian. Let her understand that the Jehovah's Witnesses aren't practicing a right religion. Thank you for her compassion and friendship. Let her direct her energy into things that center around the Jesus Christ of the Bible.

Thank you for this beautiful day, Lord. Thank you that I could be on my way to Magic Mountain! Thank you for this laptop computer and how I can type my prayers in here as Sarine drives the car. Thank you for my devotion to pray to You. I know You hold the secrets of the universe and the secrets of God. Show me great and mighty things, Lord.

Thank you that it's not raining right now. Please keep it from raining on us while we're at Magic Mountain. Let the concerts either be indoors or let it not rain on the musicians while they play outdoors.

Thank you for giving me a great life. Thank you for giving me all kinds of wonderful things. Help me to continually praise You! Thank you for giving me much more than I deserve. You are an awesome God.

Let these prayer journals be encouraging to others. Let them give others joy and understanding. Thank you for teaching me how to pray and putting your hand on me. Help me to always align my prayers with your perfect will.

Forgive me for being a sinner. Forgive me for not knowing what's best. Thank you for showing me all things. Thank you for letting me experience so much! Help me to stay close to You and choose You over a questionable experience. Thank you for giving me such an awesome source of freedom, love and friendship.

Help her Mom to have patience regarding the money that we owe her. Thank you that she helped us buy the car for Sarine. Thank you that we've been able to pay her back a significant amount of the money, in only the first year. Let us pay the remainder, soon.

Thank you that we have all of our debts on one credit card! Let me get the unemployment insurance and pay our car insurance with it. Thank you for working out all things for the good for those who love You and are called according to your purpose. I know You can help with this and I don't think it's any coincidence that our car insurance is due in about three weeks and I could have money coming in from UI that would cover it. May your will be done, Lord.

Thank you that I live, breathe and exist, even though there are things in my life that aren't perfect! Thank you that I cannot correct everything, I cannot right every wrong, I cannot turn my life into a perfect, storybook life. Thank you for the twists and turns that make life interesting! Praise You for knowing how to have us grow and how to give us a dynamic and special life that we can talk about throughout eternity.

Praise You for letting us have part of this adventure. Bless the angels, Lord. Let them protect us and fight the forces of darkness. Thank you for making us with a free will, so we can choose You and go through the full range of human emotions and experiences. Help us to understand how our generation is different from any other and how the next generation will be different than this one.

Thank you for all of the signs of your return. Help us to be ready and excited for You to return and take your church home. Praise You for giving us ample scriptures about your return and our subsequent life in Heaven. Let us have great hope and watch in expectation. Thank you that things are lining up perfectly with scripture. Thank you for the "best technology", which exists today, that could give everyone a mark on their forehead or hand, so they can be identified.

Let me see how things are being done and how things will be. Let me prophesy and speak in tongues more often. Give me your words of truth, Lord. Fill me with your Spirit. I need You and only You, first and foremost.

Thank you for teaching me about the Israelites and the way You used to speak to them and lead them. Help me to be on-fire for You and never drag my feet, whine or complain. Help me to do the things that are difficult for me.

Let me have deep love and patience with Sarine. Help me not to get upset over the little things. Remind me that people are just human and as far as humans are concerned, Sarine is very faithful and loving and helpful.

Thank you for the fact that we drive the speed limit. Help us to continue doing this. Thank you for the way You give us peace and blessings for obeying You. Help us to obey You in all things - great and small.

Thank you that I get to drive, soon. Thank you that we get to turn up the music and praise You as we drive to Magic Mountain! Let us be sanctified and remain very close to You.

Thank you that Sarine and I have times of worship and prayer, together. Show us when we need to do these things more often. Thank you that we independently seek You and corporately seek You.

Thank you that we were able to get these tickets from the Assemblies of God main office. Thank you that Licia was able to wait for us or perhaps You gave her additional things to do, so she happened to be there longer than she planned. Thank you for helping us to get up when we did and get ready and leave. Thank you that we are almost there.

Bless our trip to Britain and Ireland. Thank you that we have several months to plan everything. Help me to read the "Lonely Planet" books on those places and learn about them. Thank you that we get to be there over Christmas!

Prepare some awesome things for us to do, there. Let us be involved with a wonderful Christmas Eve and Christmas service or gathering. Let me bring my guitar and play some songs, too. Thank you that we can stay with some Christian relatives of Sarine's. Thank you that they have a guest room and are very happy about our future visit.

Thank you for taking us all over the world. Let me see your awesome wonder and glory, Lord. Help me to keep a journal of my daily activities. Thank you that I kept such a detailed journal in Israel. Help people to read it and laugh, wonder, think and experience what I experienced.

Thank you for this day, Lord. Thank you that I could sleep in and rest. Thank you that I'm fasting. Let me be more like You, Lord.

Thank you for the ways you've helped me deal with my urges to eat. Thank you for helping me to curb my appetite. Thank you for the ways that fruit and vegetable juices invigorate me.

Bless me, increase my ministry, lay your hand on me and keep me from evil.

Thank you for being faithful to me, Lord. Thank you for being everywhere, always! Thank you for lifting me up and touching me, making me eternally different. Thank you for being so worthy of my attention and devotion.

Thank you for the new server that I have. Help me to upload all the files there. Thank you that Ernie was able to change about 800 links, instantaneously! Thank you for his assistance and advice. Bless him a lot and help his business to succeed.

Thank you that I could get a tan, today. Help my body to process the sun in a great way. Thank you that my skin has been bronzing. Help me not to get burned or develop any skin problems.

Thank you that I could play a game of football, today! Thank you for that exciting game on my Play Station 2. Thank you that I've been able to moderate my usage of playing the PS2. Help me to continue to do so.

Thank you for providing a way to get an awesome computer for around $800-$1000! When the time is right, help me to sell my laptop and get one. Thank you that these are new computers, with Pentium 4 processors that have no payments and no interest for 6 months! Thank you for this great opportunity.

Thank you for my cd burner, Lord. Thank you that we can burn all kinds of cds for selling and giving away. Although my ministry isn't a business, help me to provide certain services and things for people at a small cost. Let people understand the costs involved with this ministry. Thank you that this ministry is totally God-centered and not money-centered! Please keep it that way and still provide all of my needs. I trust and know that You will because You always have.

Thank you for this nice, warm place to live. Thank you that the roof keeps out the rain. Thank you for our carpet, the furniture, my books, my guitars and everything else in here. Help us to use everything for the glory of God.

Make the soreness in my muscles go away. Thank you for the chance to work them out so hard over the past few days. Remove the lactic acid and help them to feel normal, again. Thank you for the ways that you repair the human body and keep it running like it should.

Give me great wisdom, Lord. Show me if riding those roller coasters is hurting my back or not. Let me ride things like that very sparingly. Help me to understand what they do to my body. Thank you that I could ride on a bunch of them without getting injured.

Thank you that I'll be playing the guitar for an hour, soon. Let me have a great time doing it. Thank you for my nice, electric guitar. Thank you that I'm home and free to play it, instead of the acoustic. Help my hands to gain strength and my fingers to gain quickness. Thank you for the talents You have put inside of me. Help me to hone them and make them better. Increase my talents and skills, Lord.

Thank you for Ryan and the chance to teach him guitar. Bless him and increase his talents. Thank you that he listens well and practices. Help him to listen and watch even closer. Help him to take great notes and be a super student. Let him have a deep love for You and playing songs to glorify You, Lord.

I pray that you make the live, audio webcast a success, Lord. Help there to be people from all countries listening and hearing us. Thank you for the chance to speak around the world. Let there be at least a few listeners. Thank you for this new medium. Help me to perfect it and use it wisely. Help me to speak clearly and slow enough for people to hear and understand everything. Thank you for all of the kids at Family Fellowship Church. Help them to be God-honoring individuals. Thank you for their interest in You and the youth group. Thank you that they serve You with their time and money. Let them be blessed and see the great rewards that come from following You. Thank you for touching all of them in a special way and promising to complete the work You began in them.

Help our baby to be healthy and strong. If it's your will, let it be a boy! Let me teach him how to play sports, work on cars, lift weights and do other things like guys do. Give him an interest for athletics and God. Help him to want to be with You, badly. Don't let him get caught up in worldliness or foolishness. Let him see the folly of others and choose the right road.

Strengthen me as I finish this fast, Lord. Help me to get through it without eating. Thank you for caring about me and helping me, already. In Jesus' name, Amen.
