What happened to the dinosaurs?

Dinosaurs were big lizards that lived with Adam and Eve.

Reptiles never stop growing.

Noah knew enough to take two babies from each dinosaur kind (not variety).

Bugs (insects) weren't taken on the ark because they could survive a flood.

There are over 270 different flood legends in the world, today.

The liberals are great at getting us to argue on the wrong subjects.

Dragons are mentioned 35 times in the Bible.

If ancient artwork of dinosaurs is very common in numerous cultures (even artwork of people with dinosaurs), how did the dinosaurs become extinct billions of years ago?

Nothing has ever or will ever "occur" to God.

Light moves, but darkness doesn't.

The biblical Behemoth in Job could not have been the elephant or the hippo because their tails are not like cedar trees.

Satan tries to use God's creation to spread his lies.

The Book of Revelation in 55 Minutes

The word "and" is used over 1200 times in Revelation because John is rapidly telling an awesome story.

The stories in the Bible are about real people, in real places, that teach us real principles.

Outline of Revelation:

3. Problem: Chap. 4, 5

4. Process: Chap. 6-11 (7 Seals and 7 Trumpets)

God knows what each person is doing wrong and right.

Jesus hates false doctrines and condemns them in His letters to Pergamos and Thyatira.

The throne of God is the energy source of the universe.

The word worship is a conflation of the words "worth" and "ship".

The word "lamb" symbolizes Christ 28 times in Revelation.

The scars in Jesus' hands will eternally shout, "I love you! I love you! I love you!"

Jesus was/is either deceived, a deceiver or divine.

We may face persecution and martyrdom, but we will never face the wrath of God because Jesus' blood covers our sins.

Satan does not know the time of the rapture.

Don't waste your time trying to guess the time (of Jesus' return). Jesus could return at any time, so be ready all the time.

We must tell the ones on the broad road to Hell about the narrow way to Heaven.

The Bible is the most trustworthy authority on God.

True love loves truth and hates every false way.

When truth is compromised with error, it is no longer truth.

Truth protects us from deception.

If you have a nutritious, energy drink, but mix it with one drop of deadly poison, it becomes deadly. The same goes when you mix truth and false doctrine.

Truth protects us from false doctrines, crafty schemed and the trickery of men.

Those who have been deceived need to be corrected.

The Bible is the only objective, divinely inspired authority that shows the truth of God and the errors of men.

Are the doctrines in your church from the Bible or elsewhere?

The three authorities in the Roman Catholic Church are the scriptures, tradition and the magistrium.

Do not honor tradition as highly as scripture.

You cannot hold onto traditions when they invalidate God's Word.

The only infallible thing on Earth is the Word of God.

When tradition contradicts scripture, the Catholic Magistrium interprets scripture so they both align.

The Word of God needs to be our plumb line for truth.

Peter wasn't being straightforward about the truth of the gospel (Paul had to rebuke him in Galatians 2) and ironically, neither is the Catholic Church.

All sin is mortal.

There is no such thing as a venial sin.

Jesus is necessary and sufficient to save sinners, completely and forever.

Catholic salvation offers no assurance of salvation.

God's righteousness demands perfect righteousness for entrance into Heaven.

The Bible is what God says. Religion is what man says God says.

Muslims: What do they want?

If you're a Christian, you have a full time ministry, whether you realize it or not.

Do you know the biblical relevance of current events?

In the Koran, there are no verses advocating peace.

There are over 100 verses in the Koran that encourage violence to spread Islam.

Muslim terrorists are not fanatics, but devout, fundamentalist Muslims.

Every Islamic country has a dictatorship in power.

Islam did not begin with Mohammed. It began with the worship of Al-llah, the moon god.

Allah isn't the Arabic word for God. It is the word for "the god" (a specific god).

Sabean moon worship turned into Islam.

Two monotheistic cultures could easily be worshiping two, very different gods (or one may be worshiping God and the other a god).

To Muslims, there are only two kinds of people: Dar Al Islam - the domain of the faithful and Dar Al Harb - those who are at war with Islam until Judgment Day.

Nowhere in the Koran is there a commandment to love anything.

No Arab map in the world admits Israel's existence.

There has never been a Palestinian land or language.

On February 21, 2001, we were ten minutes away from a nuclear war with Israel and Iraq.

Tekuma is a nuclear sub in Israel's fleet.

You can't impeach Jesus and He's not going to resign.

Standing On Evidence From Mt. Saint Helens

The principle of uniformity undergirds naturalism, but leaves events like the flood unexplained.

Naturalism means non-supernaturalism.

There is much more evidence that the Earth is thousands of years old than millions of years old.

The Grand Canyon has alluvial fans (or pancakes) just like Mt. Saint Helen's, but evolutionsts had said the former took million of years while the latter took four hours.

Radio isotope dating doesn't work.

Each volcanic rock that we know, after it erupted, dated millions of years old with radioactive isotope dating.

Scour slope took seventeen minutes, not millions of years.

The floating mat model produces peat and peat produces coal.

Peat is the precursor to coal.

In a lab, you can change peat into coal in just hours.

Specimen Ridge - trees are in growth position, but they didn't grow there

Wood can be petrified within days.

The tree ring layers match in Yellowstone's Specimen Ridge.

The Book of Isaiah in 55 Minutes

The term "prophet" is used over 300 times in the Bible.

A seer perceives things that are not in the natural realm.

Part of Isaiah's prophecy was fulfilled and part is still to be fulfilled.

Isaiah 61:1, 2 "The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon Me, Because the LORD has anointed Me To preach good tidings to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, To proclaim liberty to the captives, And the opening of the prison to those who are bound; To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD, And the day of vengeance of our God; To comfort all who mourn."

"The day of vengeance of our God' has not happened, but Jesus fulfilled the opening part of the prophecy.

Isaiah mentions salvation 26 times. All the other prophets mention salvation a total of 7 times.

The prophets came to speak about the people's sin.

Isaiah was concerned with revealing the paradoxical nature of God.

Isaiah sees no gray - only black and white.

Typical prophecies give a reproof and an assurance.

Hypocrisy is outwardly doing what God commanded, but inwardly resisting God.

We should not be surprised when God shows judgment.

Sin not dealt with destroys justice.

God's judgment shows His righteousness.

Isn't it ironic when God's people use their blessings from Him to go further from Him?

Too many of God's blessings, in a short period of time, can keep one from growth and maturity.

When we see God how He is, we see ourselves as we are.

God deals with both people and nations.

Sometimes, even God's people don't want God's presence.

Make God famous!

In the New Testament, Isaiah is the most quoted author of the Old Testament.

Hell: Hot, Dark and Forever

We all know we are going to die, we just don't know when.

Only 3% of people in the United States think they are going to Hell.

Today, many people think Hell is outdated an no longer true.

What does Jesus teach will happen to you the moment you die?

Jesus teaches that Hell does exist and some people will go there.

When Jesus was asked if He was the Christ, the Son of the Blessed, he said, "I AM".

Jesus talked more about Hell than anyone else did in the New Testament.

Luke 16:19 - possibly a real story, not a parable because Jesus named names.

We learn a lot of about Hell from this interaction.

Sheol, Hades, Gehenna, Hell

Sheol is the Hebrew word in the Old Testament for the "under world" or sometimes the "grave".

Hades is the Greek word in the New Testament and it's the same as Sheol. It is the unseen abode of the dead.

Abraham's bosom or side is where the righteous went in the Old Testament.

Gehenna is the Greek word for Hell.

Jesus used the word "Gehenna" more than any other word for Hell.

If you reject God, He accommodates you and lets you reject Him for eternity with the Devil and his angels.

Hell will last as long as Heaven.

People that go to Hell are in a state of lostness, ruin and waste.

Hell is an ultimate, irreversible separation from God.

Revelation 9:2 - bottomless pit = Hell

There will be perpetual grief and terror, probably like you feel when you dream you are falling.

Matthew 25:30

Revelation 20:14 - lake of fire, 2^nd death is dying forever

There will be continual misery and remorse in Hell.

In Hell, a person will remember the times they rejected Christ.

In Hell, people will remember their own sins forever and there will be no forgiveness.

People that don't think their sins warrant eternity in Hell don't understand sin or God.

All sinners in Hell will be perfectly miserable, but not equally miserable (Matthew 11:21-24).

Our point of reference can't move and it has to be separate from us.

A wise person who doesn't believe in God is like a person who drops an anchor in the deck of his own boat and expects to be anchored.

God is self-existent and self-defining.

Humans don't define God. God defines Himself or He isn't God.

God is what God is or He wouldn't be God.

Don't think you can tell God how He is.

Without God there is no substance or meaning to life.

Our God wants to have fellowship with us, day by day, moment by moment; continual, eternal fellowship.

Saying "it's wrong to impose your morals on others" is imposing your morals on others.

You cannot argue for or against anything unless there is a truthful point of reference.

God made all of us to know Him and when we don't, we feel it.

There was once a playground with rules posted and a yard duty on hand. When the yard duty was removed, chaos ensued. The kids fought and wouldn't share things. Eventually, the rules were torn down. Does this sound familiar?

We have freedom in this country because we can control ourselves.

Our freedom slips away when we cannot control ourselves and we need to be controlled.

Telling people to believe whatever they want is like telling them there's nothing to believe in.
