2. A Merarite Levite. 1Ch 6:30 (15).
3. A Gershonite Levite, ancestor of Asaph the minstrel. 1Ch 6:39 (24). (B.C. before 1200.)
4. The brother of David, 1Ch 20:7 elsewhere called Shamma, Shimma and Shimeah.
