1. The son of Simeon by a Canaanitish woman, Ge 48:10; Ex 6:15; Nu 26:13; 1Ch 4:24 and founder of the family of the Shaulites. (B.C. 1712.)
2. One of the kings of Edom. 1Ch 1:48,49 In the Authorized Version of Ge 36:37 he is less accurately called SAUL.
