1 | To the chief Musician,18 [A Psalm] of David, to bring to remembrance. |
2 | Let them be ashamed4 and confounded4 that seek18 after my soul: let them be turned11 backward, and put to confusion,11 that desire my hurt. |
3 | Let them be turned back4 for a reward of their shame that say,6 Aha, aha. |
4 | Let all those that seek18 thee rejoice4 and be glad4 in thee: and let such as love6 thy salvation say4 continually, Let God be magnified.4 |
5 | But I [am] poor and needy: make haste3 unto me, O God: thou [art] my help and my deliverer;18 O LORD, make no tarrying.17 |
