LODGE, HENRY CABOT (1850 ) , American political leader and author, was born in Boston, Massachusetts, on the 12th of May 185o. He graduated at Harvard College in 1871 and at the Harvard Law School in 1875; was admitted to the Suffolk (Massachusetts) bar in 1876; and in 18761879 was instructor in American history at Harvard.
