CALATAYUD , a town of central Spain, in the province of Saragossa , at the confluence of the rivers Jalen and Jiloca, and on the Madrid-Saragossa and Calatayfid-Sagunto railways. Pop. (1900) 11,526. Calatayud consists of a lower
