ATLANTIC , a city and the county-seat of Cass county, Iowa, U.S.A., on East
Des Moines. Pop. (1890) 4351; (1900) 5046; (1905, state census ) 518o (625 foreign-born); (191o) 456o. It is served bythe Chicago, Rock
Island & Pacific railway, and by an inter-urban electric line connecting with Elkhorn and Kimballton, and is the trade
