The noise from this bird

Could be all that is heard.

But I hear something else

That others do not hear.

I see something else

That others sometimes fear.

I laugh at some things

But to others...it conjures a tear.

Protect me and keep me from evil.

The devil is subtle and wants to steal my joy.

He prowls and attacks

And treats me like a toy.

He'll try and pick me up and throw me down.

I know that You are Lord of lords

And he's just a clown.

Thank you that I love You so

This much I know

And You will never let me go.

You are here and you are there.

You are everywhere.

This can't be said about anything else.

You can't be contained.

You can't be maintained.

You can't be framed or blamed.

You are the Holy one.

You are the Creator of fun.

With you by my side,

this race I will run.

I will not walk.

I will not stop and talk.

I will run like hell because you are more than swell.

I am not ashamed of You as my Lord.

You are the only way to Heaven.

While Jews worry about leaven,

You are the only way to Heaven.

Fools will scoff and say there's no God.

But You will knock and humbly prod

Until the day they die and forever fry.
