Prayer: "Thank you for wanting us to share the gospel with others! Give us courage and strength to do this. Help us realize it is a spiritual battle that we are in. Remind us to pray and be bold! Thank you for being faithful to us, always. Help us to love everyone and be persistent in sharing the gospel. Give us love and a hope for the lost. Remind us of the reality of hell for the unbelievers and the promise of Heaven and reconciliation with You for the believers. In Jesus' name, Amen."

Wednesday "The Peace Within"

Philippians 4:6-7 "Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus."

Prayer: "Thank you for giving us peace when we ask for it! You are an awesome God. Praise You for being the Prince of Peace and being within us! Help us to seek peace and pursue it. Thank you for giving us such sweet peace! There's no other God like You. Remind us of the power of prayer and the power that You have. In Jesus' name, Amen."

Thursday "Walk With God"

Psalm 1:1-3 "Blessed is the man Who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, Nor stands in the path of sinners, Nor sits in the seat of the scornful; But his delight is in the law of the LORD, And in His law he meditates day and night. He shall be like a tree Planted by the rivers of water, That brings forth its fruit in its season, Whose leaf also shall not wither; And whatever he does shall prosper."

Prayer: "Thank you for showing us where to walk and where not to walk! Give us wisdom and discernment. Be our light in a dark and strange world. Thank you for showing us what is right and what is best. You always reward us when we follow You and You always reveal yourself when we seek You with all our hearts. Give us endurance to keep walking with You until we see You in Heaven! In Jesus' name, Amen."

Prayer: "Help us hate evil, Lord. Thank you for wanting us to hate it. Show us what is sin and despite what this world of tolerance tells us, let us hate it. Praise You for being the way, the truth and the life! Thank you for your awesome Word! You are perfect and changeless. Let us call sin exactly what it is and not make excuses for it. Give us kindness and gentleness to people as we hate Satan and the sin. In Jesus' name, Amen."

Saturday "Biblical Food"

Psalm 119:103 "How sweet are Your words to my taste, Sweeter than honey to my mouth!"

Psalm 42:1 "As the deer pants for the water brooks, So pants my soul for You, O God."

Psalm 34:8 "Oh, taste and see that the LORD is good; Blessed is the man who trusts in Him!"

1 Corinthians 3:1-2 "And I, brethren, could not speak to you as to spiritual people but as to carnal, as to babes in Christ. I fed you with milk and not with solid food; for until now you were not able to receive it, and even now you are still not able;"

1 Peter 2:1-3 "Therefore, laying aside all malice, all deceit, hypocrisy, envy, and all evil speaking, as newborn babes, desire the pure milk of the word, that you may grow thereby, if indeed you have tasted that the Lord is gracious."

2 Corinthians 3:18 "But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord."

Philippians 1:6 "be confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ;"

Prayer: "Thank you for changing us to be like You, Father! Keep changing us. Thank you for the awesome promises in Your Word! Help us to transform our minds and not listen to everything this world tells us. Help us make You our number one priority! Forgive us for all our sins. Thank you for giving us the Holy Spirit! Give us sensitivity to the convictions we have from You. In Jesus' name, Amen."

Challenge

Write a list of all the people you need to forgive (everyone who has hurt you or sinned against you). List everyone you can remember. Write what they did or forgive them in your head. When you're finished, either burn the paper or throw it away! You will feel a weight lifted from you! God bless you as you meet this week's challenge! Remember . . . . .

Matthew 18:21-22 "Then Peter came to Him and said, Lord, how often shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? Up to seven times? Jesus said to him, I do not say to you, up to seven times, but up to seventy times seven."

Quotations

Ask questions and get answers.

Talk to me like a godly person.

You can pray to God on your face and fast, but if He doesn't want you to have it, you won't have it.

Some things are much easier than you think.

Set goals for yourself and work to achieve them. Don't worry about the goals that others have for you if they are not your own.

Be there when people need you.

Everybody deserves respect.

Do you make people feel wanted?

Take these gifts and run the race better than before.

I must understand that there are things that I don't and won't understand.

God is the power in the wind.

God has seen what no human has seen. Don't you think He could show you something you haven't seen?

I have to forgive quicker.

You are love. I need love. I need You.

You have no idea what God has protected you from.

Look up and breathe deeply.

Despite body and mind, my youth will never die.

God can count how many times you praise Him and thank Him. I hope we lose count.

Submit to others from desire, not simply weakness.

Choose life and the weight you're under will be lifted away.

You're a beam of sunshine in a world of lightening.

All those lonely people have a friend like I do.

Hate is a necessary emotion since we are to hate evil.

Worship can change my heart and my perspective.

If we had more books from God, like five more books beside the Bible, wouldn't it require less faith to believe in Him?

If wisdom isn't from God, it isn't wisdom at all.

There's no limit to God's faithfulness.

Recognizing your moral impurity gives you a chance to become like Christ.

Never assume, "That person's so happy they must be sinning."

I want to know Jesus better and better every day of my life.

Getting to know God better has been the greatest goal since the beginning of time.

Set out to know Christ, not to simply be influential.

Knowing Christ better will change your life.

You may need to teach what you learn.

The better we know Him, the more we will be able to accept and endure suffering like He did.

Like you can't hit a golf ball off a tee that's not vertical, you can't be successful without a firm foundation in Christ.

Sin is unfaithfulness to God.

What's the last thing you're waiting to hand over to God?

Jesus is the key to successful living.

God does great stuff for those that get to know Him.

Have the right attitude toward your failures and successes.

Don't let your imperfections keep you from typing.

The past was not intended to be a hitching post, but rather a sign post.

Our best days are ahead!

Keep on, keeping on!

Your life may be the only gospel that people ever see.

I don't see life divided into public and private, secular and sacred. It's all an open place of service before our God.

There is not a career worth pursuing where you cannot have integrity.

If we are weak and undernourished Christians, it is our fault.

Happy are those who have one companion, one relationship that is not based on looks or performance.

Think of your commitments to your friends. How would they rate your faithfulness?

Falling away from Christ produces bad things in your life.

Doesn't your love and encouragement actually return to you through God and others?

When others see you making poor choices, it can help them make poor choices.

Sometimes people think that the only significant things they do are those for which they receive public praise.

Don't let bitterness become part of your life.

Some of the most important things we do in life are often neither dramatic or memorable.

Selfishness promotes discouragement.

People often remember the good deeds we do longer than we do; and Jesus never forgets.

Stick close to the Lord until the end.

Fear binds us.

Jesus brings life from death.

I'm always rewarded when I follow You.

Be careful that disobedience doesn't drive a wedge between you and God.

Christians choose to fall away from God; it's not simply an accident.

The American gospel has evolved into a gospel of addition without subtraction. It is the belief that we can add Christ to our lives but not subtract sin.

The angels became demons when they stopped loving God and followed Lucifer (Satan) to earth.

What we do must confirm what we say.

A changed life is one that has added Christ and subtracted sin, attracting a world weary of worn-out words.

You may be great at obeying some commands of God but lax in obeying others. Which Biblical teachings do you struggle to obey?

Stay under the spout, where the blessings come out.

Don't forget to rest where God has you.

Worldly gifts are like water-less clouds.

Are your friends bearing fruit?

Do you desire godliness or do you desire things?

The gospel is profoundly simple and simply profound.

Churches are many things, but don't forget to bring your Bible, pen and paper; they will always be a classroom.

Godly leaders deserve our respect and support, even in trying times.

We must not take part in a rebellion or gossip against a leader.

You don't fall into sin, you walk into it one step at a time.

Don't let other people's demons put fear into you.

Sin is like a pot of boiling water to a frog. If it's boiling hot and you put a frog in it, the frog jumps out. But if the water was slowly turned up, the frog would burn to death from the heat, not realizing it was getting hotter. Likewise, huge, obvious sins can be avoided, but subtle, "small" sins often plague us, eventually building a cumulative barrier between us and Christ.

Casinos are built from the money of losers.

Don't think you're strong enough to dabble where sin is; you're not.

Don't cause people to lust after you.

When we dabble in areas we're not supposed to be in, we're going to get hurt.

The chains of sin are sometimes too weak to be felt until they are so tight they are not easily broken.

Waving or smiling to your neighbors isn't sharing the gospel with them.

Can you imagine what it would be like if Christ did not give us the power to overcome or avoid every temptation?

Stay loyal to our great leader, who surely knows the way home.

I'll show you everything with arms wide open.

Believe that you can beat the evil spirits every time, no matter how powerful they seem.

You're smiling too big for your face!

I smile when I see you.

God uses our friends to teach and help us.

I can't stay away from you.

How do you respond to pain and suffering?

Dust it off and try again.

I'm gonna leave long faced religion in a cloud of dust and discover all the new horizons that are waiting to be explored!

You and I belong in the hands of the Father.

There's a freshness and freedom in the air that can only be fully appreciated by one who has worn the chains of a prisoner.

Only God knows exactly how you feel all the time.

What should I be doing right now?

Are you telling people what you think they want to hear or are you telling them the truth?

Strangers may be friends that you haven't met yet.

I'm a puppy for your love.

How would it feel if your friend died and you didn't tell them you were sorry for something you did? Don't wait for the perfect moment to say you're sorry and mend relationships.

Love is a gift we can give every day.

In your eyes, I see what's on my mind.

Sometimes people will treat you poorly until they realize it is intolerable.

There is really only one interpretation of Jesus' plan on this earth. To seek and save the lost.

God doesn't promise to remove all your hardships, but He does promise to be with you while you endure them and give you what you need to cope with them.

It's fun to do the impossible.

Don't say you don't have enough time. You have exactly the same number of hours per day as Hellen Keller, Michelangelo, Albert Einstein, Thomas Jefferson and Mother Theresa had.

The truly illiterate are the ones who can't learn, unlearn and relearn.

Great leaders are genuinely joyful for the success of the ones under him.

Don't new ideas look crazy at first?

The imagination is a weapon against reality.

Think wisely and let wisdom take root in your personal experience.

Wise men talk because they have something to say; fools, because they have to say something.

A lengthy speech doesn't make up for a deep one.

Blessed is the one who, having nothing to say, abstains from giving us wordy evidence of the fact.

One of the most difficult things in the world is to know how to do something and watch someone do it wrong, without comment.

Making simple things complicated is easy, but making complicated things simple takes creativity.

Call things by their right names.

We know what a person thinks, not when they tell us what they think, but by their actions.

Deal with the faults of others as gently as you deal with your own.

Whenever you find yourself on the side of the majority, it's time to pause and reflect.

When all think alike, no one is thinking very much.

If a million people say a foolish thing, it is still a foolish thing.

Do what others say cannot be done and you'll never pay attention to their limitations again.

No man or woman who tries to pursue an ideal in his or her own way is without enemies.

You don't have to give others absurd, maddening claims on your time.

Do the right thing. It will gratify some people and astonish the rest.

If you can't describe what you are doing as a process, you don't know what you are doing.

Few things are harder to put up with than the annoyance of a good example.

The Lord likes to bless me and hear me sing praises to Him!

I can keep you from falling apart.

Christ's power is invincible!

I'm on my knees; the place where I should have started from.

We can't always blame others for the situations we are in.

Just because one guy or girl hurt you or let you down, it doesn't mean they all will.

Sinning for being disappointed isn't wise.

I fall short of Christ's perfection far too often for my liking.

You can't expect someone to do exactly what you would do all the time.

When you seek Christ with your friends, you should get along better.

Are all of God's expectations met? Do you really think all of yours will be?

Pain is immobilizing.

Look for reasons why you're getting emotional.

Suffering seems to be soothed with a good night's sleep.

Some of your personal comforts must sometimes be forsaken for the good of others.

A firm belief that God's will and counsel is right calms the spirit of a man.

Cast all your cares upon God, and leave every event to his wise and gracious disposal.

Strive for happiness at home.

The first demand that any work of art makes upon us is surrender. Look. Listen. Receive. Get yourself out of the way.

Forgiveness is not simply a feeling, but an action.

God renews our feelings of purity and value.

When you are humble, you can know which people you hurt when you were prideful.

A tool of Satan is telling us the fruits of our labor are very small.

There must be room for error in our relationships.
