1 John 5:12 "He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life."
Prayer: "Thank you for giving us life and living water. Remind us that we are different from the world. Give us the love to encourage others and use our tongues for good, not evil. Bless us and give us wisdom, Lord. In Jesus' name, Amen."
Tuesday "God is Here"
2 Chronicles 13:12a "God is with us; he is our leader."
Ezekiel 34:31 "You my sheep, the sheep of my pasture, are people, and I am your God, declares the Sovereign Lord."

Matthew 1:23 "The virgin will be with child and will give birth to a son, and they will call him Immanuel--which means, "God with us."
Prayer: "Thank you for being here, Lord. We know that you are with us and you will be-every minute of every day until the day we die and see You! Praise You for your faithfulness. There's not other God like You in all of the universe. Remind us that You are near when we forget. Thank you that we don't have to take on problems alone. In Jesus' name, Amen."
Wednesday "Have a Pure Heart"
Psalm 51:10 "Create in me a pure heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me."
1 Timothy 1:5 "The goal of this command is love, which comes from a pure heart and a good conscience and a sincere faith."
2 Timothy 2:22 "Flee the evil desires of youth, and pursue righteousness, faith, love and peace, along with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart."
Prayer: "Purify our hearts. Change our motives and give us good ones, always. Make us like exactly like You, Jesus. Thank you for loving us so much. Give us good desires and make us love what is good and hate what is evil-an know the difference. In Jesus' name, Amen."
Thursday "God Knows"
Luke 16:15 "He said to them, You are the ones who justify yourselves in the eyes of men, but God knows your hearts. What is highly valued among men is detestable in God's sight."
Psalm 37:18 "Day by day God sees the good deeds done by godly men and gives them eternal rewards."
1 Samuel 16:7 "Man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart."
1 John 3:19-20 "This then is how we know that we belong to the truth, and how we set our hearts at rest in his presence whenever our hearts condemn us. For God is greater than our hearts, and he knows everything."
Prayer: "Praise You for your power. Only you can see everything. Praise You for your sovereignty. Remind us that you know our hearts when we attempt to do good and things get misconstrued. You will be the judge. Give us joy, Lord, knowing that You are smiling at us from above. Thank You for being a good God. In Jesus' name, Amen."
Friday "God strengthens, Satan tempts"
Isaiah 40:29 "He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak."
James 1:13 "When tempted, no one should say, 'God is tempting me.' For God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does he tempt anyone;"
1 Corinthians 10:13 "No temptation has seized you except what is common to man. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can stand up under it."
Prayer: "Thank you for Your Word, Lord. It teaches us the truth. It cuts with the intent to heal. Thank you that You do not tempt us and You will not let us be tempted more than we can bear. Give us great strength to overcome temptation. Praise You for being faithful to us. Remind us to pray before, during and after our trials. In Jesus' name, Amen."
