other information, so please don't duplicate and increase your workload. I'm
enjoying them very much here in Japan and, occasionally, using some of them in
some study groups I lead, as well. Thanks for the good material. I realize what
you are doing is a tremendous effort! Keep up the good work and "mount up on

life. I am 25. My birthday is 2-22-73. I have a twin sister. When we were born,
the nurses wanted to name us George and Martha. Because we were born on

I'm really just passing
through. I know faith is often positive, perhaps indispensable. But there is a
kind of faith that is dangerous. As my family learned the hard way. I was
involved in substance abuse, then turned to something better, I suppose, but
still not completely sound. I turned to an ultra fundamentalist pentecostal
faith church that gave me a sense of security and reassurance. For one thing, I
was delivered from much of the emotional waywardness that had led me into drugs
in the first place. I got married, and we got more involved in our "church." But
it was rigid in its beliefs, and told us not to go to the doctors, or trust in
government or in medicine. Then our daughter got cancer. Our delay in taking her

Why if you are portraying the
pictures of the Bible, would you have a casino ad at the top of each
picture.....? Forgive me if I do not see what you mean.....please explain how
can you expect people to accept our Lord as Christ with that kind of
advertisements? Isn't that the same as the money-changers in the temple when
Jesus became upset and threw them out? I do not want to lean upon my own

I have a framed print of
Jeremiah 29:11 in my home. It's what I see as I walk out of the house each day.
And each day, I remember whose Almighty hand I'm in! Praise the Lord for making
a way for all of us to be with Him for eternity!! Rev. 3:20 "Behold, I stand at
the door and knock; if any one hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in
to him." If we choose to let go, and let God do what He needs to do to
accomplish His work, what joy we experience knowing He is with us, even in the
hard times. His plan is perfect. And his retirement plan? Well, it really is out
of this "world"!!! I'm thankful that there are many websites available on the
internet to help combat the secular sites that tear people down. May God richly

I have just been talking to
the man who founded the racetrack chaplaincy. I and my husband are involved in
the horseracing industry and my husband brought me to Christ through the miracle
of watching Jesus heal his alcoholism and drug abuse. My husband is a jockey who
was disabled for 5 years and went back to riding this past March and oh the
glory of God has shown through his work. God has blessed us in so many ways and
it is such a glory when he works his will in us.He has taken our son, Lazaras,
and put him in a Christian school where he will grow strong in the faith . I am
learning computer engineering and I don't know what that has in God's plan for
me but I know it will be glorious. Thank you so much for your website and your
mailings, it has been uplifting for me and the Word is soooo good. Thank you.

receiving your devotions for quite some time now. I just recently got an upgrade
on my computer so now I can get into the web. I have been checking out your
photos. They are very nice. I have printed out some of them. I think I will
start a notebook to keep your devotions and photos. I especially like your
prayers that you include in your devotions. I need to improve my prayer life and
get closer to the Lord. Your prayers teach me to pray better. I have been saved
since 1983 and baptized in water and the Holy Ghost since 1984. I have been
through so much in my Christian walk and lately I have been consumed with
"busyness", just trying to deal with the basics. As a result, I have not been
spending as much time with the Lord as I want to. Pray for me. I have a lot of
health problems and trouble keeping a steady job. I have been doing temporary
secretarial work for a long time and have not been able to stablize my
employment because of health problems. I am using your devotions to help me
spend more time with the Lord. I intend to check out your literary works. I am a
"resource freak" and will probably save a lot of your stuff for my reference
files. I am very involved in my church, Harrison Ave. Church of God in
Cincinnati, Ohio. I am the Pastor's Secretary and I am Secretary to the Ladies
