Did You Pray?

Did you send God a prayer today?

Did you lift your heart and soul

and send it on its way?

Did your voice in gentle tone

speak greetings to the Lord?

Did you when you were quite alone

a prayer to Him outpour?

And when your prayer was finally done

Did you listen for His words?

Did you hear Him say, "You're not alone,

And all your prayers I've heard"?

Did you offer up your prayers

and send them on their way?

The Lord is waiting now to hear you

but if you do not pray,

He'll love you in your silence,

He'll love you everyday.
