November 1 ~
T.Y. that it is November and I'm in Lynchburg, Virginia. T.Y. that I could go and hear a worship
band play songs, tonight. Bless them and Mike for asking me to come.
Bless Scaremare and strengthen the workers. T.Y. for the trials they faced tonight and each night.
Help them to see it is making them stronger and rely on You more and more. T.Y. for being here,
always and forever. Praise You for your faithfulness! There's no other God that never leaves.
You are here when I wake and when I sleep. You go ahead of me, with me and behind me. I
love You, Lord.
T.Y. for the chance to update my web page. And thank you for the names I've added, recently, to
the ministry. Bless them through me, Lord. I'll be your hands. T.Y. for the whole internet
ministry. Give me new ways to spread the gospel and encourage Christians.
T.Y. for music - Christian and acoustic. Bless those musicians who encourage me. You lift my
spirits through them!
Bless me tomorrow at church. T.Y. that I had a great week at church last week. Give me a super
time, again. Give me a great challenge to give to the people in my small group. Let Jon and I get
along well. T.Y. that we are leading the group together. And T.Y. for his phone call last week.
Bless him and let him see how You want to work in his life and other people's lives. Let us
further Your truth and Your cause and not hinder it.
T.Y. that I got a good workout at the gym, today. Make me stronger and keep me focused on
what is important. T.Y. that I can listen to Christian music as I workout. It helps me keep my
mind on You and stay encouraged. It helps the pain go away. Keep me disciplined and give me
self-control. T.Y. for the huge gains I've made in weightlifting. You are the source of my
strength. I lift the weights because I choose to. But You choose to honor your promises and
make me stronger and keep me safe from injury. Praise You! This will always be a joint effort.
Let me wake up tomorrow and feel very well rested. Keep me safe on the roads, tomorrow.
Give me wisdom and love for others. T.Y. that I have a meeting tomorrow night at TRBC and a
banquet, soon. T.Y. for all the church has contributed to my life. T.Y. for their continuous
letters and their upcoming Living Christmas Tree.
T.Y. for being the source of my joy and strength. You are the lifter of my head and the giver of
good things. Bless me, increase my ministry, lay your hand on me and keep me from evil.
Bless Larry Flint and give him salvation, tomorrow, if it be your will. Attack his soul with your
love and mercy. Let him know that he needs You, badly. And give him the courage to accept
You, publicly, and not be ashamed of You or Jesus Christ or salvation or the gospel.
Give me mercy on others. T.Y. for my friends and family. Let me understand when I have to
wait or forgive. T.Y. for forgiving me and having so much mercy on me, Lord. There's no other
God like You. T.Y. for not wanting me to live in guilt or shame, but you always want to restore
our relationship.
Give me contentment in all situations. Whether I'm waiting in line on the road or in a grocery
store or whether I'm listening to a sermon or a person speak. Let me have joy with patience, so I
can listen, wait and learn. T.Y. for never being silent and always wanting to teach me and have
me grow. Make me more like You, Father.
Give me meekness. Praise You for being sovereign. T.Y. that I don't have to control my future
or people or anything but my actions. You are in total control, I will not worry. Take all worry
and anger away from me. Give me great peace. T.Y. that I can rest so easily and comfortably as
I know You are the kind of God I need and You are in control of the future. You control not
only my future, but the future of my enemies and all mankind.
Bless my talents on guitar and prepare me to lead the group in worship on Fridays. T.Y. for this
great opportunity. Bless all of the people who come. Change the hearts of many, many people in
Lynchburg as we witness and pray for them. T.Y. for the power of prayer and the gospel. We
can pray and watch what You do, or we can speak the gospel and see what You do. Either way,
Your will shall be done and lives will be changed. Let me learn some more songs and let me learn
the songs I do know better. Give the group patience with me and the desire to learn some new
songs. Take my talents beyond my imagination. T.Y. that You have given me a lot of talent on
the guitar. I noticed tonight, as I played, that I was different than I used to be. I'm not one of the
greatest, but that is not my desire. I want to praise You well and keep improving. Make me a
better leader, too. Give me great courage and take fear away from me. Make me unafraid to ask
people to sing or do something. You have given me skills and wisdom and I will use them for
your glory.
To You be all of the glory, honor and praise, forever and ever. In Jesus' name, Amen.

T.Y. for being here. T.Y. for blessing me and giving me great ideas for the weekly devotional
message. Bless me and the people who read them. Make us more like You, Father. Praise You
for being so awesome and worthy of our time, effort and devotion.
Praise You for being holy. You are so perfect and righteous. T.Y. for never changing. T.Y. for
giving me your laws. They protect me and guide me. In this dark world, they light the way. T.Y.
for giving me a way to speak to You. You let me have the chance to change things that I could
never change on my own. You have changed my world and turned it upside down!
Give me a good workout, tomorrow. Let me push my chest muscles to exhaustion. Keep me
safe and don't let me get injured. T.Y. for the chance to workout. Help me to get into better
physical condition. Give me self-esteem and confidence before mankind, too. Make me humble
before You and confident before mankind.
T.Y. that I have some papers coming up that won't be easy. Help me start them early and do a
great job. Bless my mind and give me wisdom and knowledge. T.Y. for the wisdom to start
planning now and not wait until the last minute. Give me the resources I need to write a quality
paper. And let me get a great grade. If it be in your will, let me make honor roll and get a
scholarship for next semester due to my grades and/or need. T.Y. that I'm doing so well. You
have blessed me with a sharp mind and good study skills.
T.Y. that Gary and Bev came over and got along with my animals. Let them do a good job with
them when I'm gone. Don't let them die or anything. Potty train my dog when the time is right,
Lord. T.Y. that my cat is well behaved, mostly.
T.Y. that I learned some great stuff at church today. T.Y. for putting my problems in perspective,
O King. Give me Godly perspective on all things, so I can see them for what they really are.
Praise You for making this life such an adventure! Let me always see problems as challenges and
tackle them with joy and fervor. Make my joy incomprehensible.
Give me love for You and for others, Father. Give me kindness, too. T.Y. for the relationships
that I have. T.Y. for the words that I speak and the words that I don't speak. Keep blessing my
tongue and making me wise. Make me an encourager and send others to encourage me when the
time is right. T.Y. for lifting my head in the middle of trials. When my strength is being sapped
like gasoline through a siphon, you renew it when I ask You and wait on You to answer. T.Y.
Lord.
T.Y. for sending Jesus Christ to die on the cross for my sins! T.Y. that you made Him rise from
the dead. And you rolled the stone away from his tomb--not so He could get out, but so we
could see in! T.Y. for the other mighty miracles you have done and are doing. Help my friend
Ken who is a preterist, understand the Bible correctly. T.Y. for promising us a future judgment of
mankind. T.Y. for helping me to unlock what the scriptures are saying and giving me great
teachers to help me do this.
Take away all of my worries about the future. I have lots of things to think about, but no reason
to worry. You are in control. You are my everything. I trust that You will make all things work
out for the good. I love You, Jesus. Give me great peace.
To You be all of the glory, honor and praise, forever and ever. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Thank You that I'm in Pastoral Counseling. Bless all of us. Increase my ministry, lay your hand
on me and keep me from evil. T.Y. for the many times You have kept me from the forces of
darkness and evil. I don't even know all of the times that You've kept me from evil! T.Y. for
giving me the strength to overcome temptation. T.Y. that the temptation I used to fall into is now
no match for my strength in You.
Give me understanding, kindness and love toward hurting people. T.Y. for the chances that I
have to counsel people. Let me do a fantastic job. T.Y. for Clint. Bless his life a lot. Give him
renewed love for You and a desire to continue seeking You.
Praise You for revealing yourself to us when we seek You with all of our hearts. Give me a heart
like that, always. Don't let me seek or be satisfied with other gods. You are the source of all
good things. I need You every minute of the day, Lord. T.Y. for being an awesome God, full of
power and mercy. Give me more power and mercy. I need Your strength and forgiveness for
fools. Let me understand that I should love all people, always, regardless of the situation or
person. T.Y. for also commanding me to judge and be wise. Let me be a righteous judge, just as
You are. Don't let me judge with evil in my heart, but let me judge just as You would. You are
the only perfect and accurate judge in the universe.
T.Y. for the wise teachers in this university. Bless them and make the students wise, too. Give all
of us a deeper relationship with You. ** T.Y. for answering every prayer, due to your will and my
faith. I will not demand my own way, but Your will. You always know best. You are God. I
will try my very best to always pray according to Your will. This way I will know You and my
prayers will be answered.
T.Y. that Allied movers will be sending me over $400 for my damaged furniture. Bless them and
Rex for making calls for me. Let me use that money wisely. Let me find more memory for my
laptop computer if it be in Your will, Lord. T.Y. that I can use such technology in so many
places. Let me find a good deal on memory. Don't let me waste any money or a computer that
will be useless in several months. T.Y. for the great deal I got on this one. T.Y. for Rex's help in
the situation.
T.Y. for the chat room that I'm looking into. Let it be successful if it is the best one for my
ministry. Let other people who see the title and date come and be blessed, too. T.Y. that there
are other chat rooms among the "Heaven" chat room that are spiritual, but not Christian. Give
them faith in You and let us be a light in the darkness. T.Y. that we have true spiritual life, not a
feeling or falsehood. T.Y. that we have a 24 hour direct link to God Almighty!! Let people who
are seeking spirituality and righteousness find You and know that You are the only way to
Heaven, peace and good things. Give me more peace in my life. Help me to love believers deeply
-- all of them, the ones in my classes and otherwise.
Bless Shannon at work. Give her a great day and keep her spirits up. Help her to sleep well at
night and feel rested and energetic during the day. Give her safety and sanctification each day.
Bless her workouts and diet. Give her self-esteem because You love her.
Give me a good night watching Monday night Football and relaxing. T.Y. that I don't have to go
and work somewhere. Bless my time and help me to do other things like work on my ministry or
school work while watching the game, if it be your will. T.Y. that my animals are always happy
to see me. Bless them and keep my dog warm on the patio. Don't let him get sick or die or chew
up things that he's not supposed to chew. T.Y. for the wisdom you've given me with my dog.
November 4 ~
T.Y. that today was a good day. T.Y. that I had no school and could get my haircut, go to the
gym, get 2 new cds, answer the youth crisis hotline, send the midweek message and update my
web page. Bless all of the people I know and all of the believers in You.
T.Y. that I learned patience at the hair salon. T.Y. that I didn't say anything evil, but you put
good words in my mouth. Bless them and make them keep their appointments next time.
T.Y. for Steve Mills and his awesome worship cd. Let it change me into a more Godly man.
T.Y. for his ministry and Godly lyrics and talented guitar licks. T.Y. that I took the song
"Forever Faithful" from camp and wrote the words and music like it was played by Steve. T.Y.
that I have it on cd, now. You are an awesome God, just as the words say. There's no other God
like You, Jesus. You will stay unchanging, although this world will not. You are the one
constant. Please find me anchored in love and shielded by faith. I'll stand up for You and the
gospel. I'll sing your praises. You have changed me like I cannot explain. T.Y. for everything.
Rivers run dry, stars fail the sky, but you'll always be, unfailing! Author of days, wise beyond my
ways, you'll forever you'll stay, unchanging! Yes! That's the same God I've known. That's the
one! You're Him. You are so beautiful. I will walk with You each day. Although this world
tries to take me down and out, You keep lifting me up. I love You, Jesus.
T.Y. for making my worries and problems seem microscopic. With you in my eyes, everything
else fades to grey. Keep my eyes on You. T.Y. for a Godly perspective that You give me on all
things. Don't let me see anything with confused or evil eyes. I want to be like You, Father.
T.Y. for AOL and my ministries. Bless them. Keep being the wind beneath my wings. T.Y. for
the promises in Your Word. I will trust in them with all of my heart! It is my instruction manual,
my guide. T.Y. that I get to go to class tomorrow and learn more about You and Your Word!!!
I am very blessed. Teach me some great things, Lord. Open my eyes and ears. I want to know
You like never before. T.Y. that I get to sit in class for a few hours and listen and learn. I will be
the clay. I will be a sponge. You fill me up, Lord. And when I am squeezed like an orange, You
will come out!
Praise You because You will reign forever! You will not reign for 100 years or 1000 years or
100,000 years. You will reign forever! T.Y. for lighting the fire in my heart, again! Renew the
joy and rekindle the fire each day! T.Y. that I can listen to Christian music right now and turn the
volume off the TV. T.Y. for the wisdom to stop and pray at 2:45 in the morning! Yes! You are
still here. Praise the Lord!
T.Y. for being here during those days that seem to hard to face. Make me stronger. Make me
see problems and tiny challenges. You control all things and don't want me to suffer too much. I
know You will rescue me when my strength runs thin. T.Y. for rushing to my rescue when I call.
You are not too busy or tied up with other things. You fly to my side and stand tall and lift my
head. T.Y. for being so, so, so much stronger than Satan and all of his army. They are absolutely
nothing compared to You. I will not forget this! I will tell the world that You have won the
battle. You overcame the devil and his attacks. You limit his power. People need to know that
the battle has been won. Change some people on Friday night and make them know You and
want to have You as their Lord and Savior.
Bless me, increase my ministry, lay your hand on me and keep me from evil.
Praise you for your faithfulness and power! I'm blown away by what you did and what You are
doing. T.Y. for dying a terrible death on the cross for me. The nails pierced your hands, but You
still let them keep You on the cross. T.Y. for suffering for me and not calling angels to help You
leave the situation. T.Y. that we have the Bible which shows how things happened. T.Y. for
being the example for us to follow.
T.Y. for my boldness and courage. Give me more and keep giving me kindness, too. Make me
unafraid of this world. Give me the love I need to live the life and teach the life. In Jesus' name,

November 6 ~
T.Y. for loving me more than I realize. T.Y. for my friends and family. Bless them.
T.Y. that Sue and Paul are going to Las Vegas for Thanksgiving. Bless them and keep them safe.
Let the rest of the family be together if that is your will, Father. T.Y. that I can fly home and be
with my parents and family. Let me get all of my school work done that's due before and after my
trip. T.Y. that I am doing great here in Virginia.
T.Y. for the great workout today. Thanks for letting me watch Seinfeld while I ride the exercise
bike. That makes the time go by quickly. Bless my workouts in the future. Keep me from
injuring myself. T.Y. that people are friendly and cordial in the gym. Bless them and let them
know that Christ is the source of my power and strength. T.Y. for continually giving me strength!
Each workout I gain muscle and lift more than I ever could on my own. T.Y. for the soreness I
feel afterwards. Ease my pain and don't let me eat too much.
T.Y. that I could look at a nice guitar today and T.Y. that Allied movers have decided to give me
$465 for the damages to my furniture. Let me use the money wisely. T.Y. that I don't have to
buy another entertainment center unless I want to. Let me fix this one if I can and if I need to.
T.Y. that the damage isn't very noticeable.
T.Y. that I can listen to Steven Curtis Chapman sing while I write these prayers to You. Bless
him, Lord. Keep his family close to You. T.Y. for never leaving us and always being here. I will
never pray, "be with me Lord," because I know You are here. Remind all mankind that You are
here and everywhere.
T.Y. that I had the chance to research the topic of women as teachers. Bless my future studies.
Let all women and men find what You want them to do. Remind us that God's Word is the final
answer and the first place we should look. T.Y. that I don't have to ever pray about whether I
should or shouldn't do something that is either forbidden or required of us in your Word. I know
which action to take if You forbid or require something of me. Let others know this and do as
You would. Praise You for being perfect and having the best plan! I've seen you ways. I've seen
your laws. They aren't always easy to live by, but they are always the best way. Praise You for
your perfection and righteousness. There is no other God like You. Make me more like You,
Jesus.
Give me joy and peace and wisdom. Take away any fear or pain I may feel.
T.Y. that I get to lead worship tomorrow. Make me a great worship leader and have everyone
sing. Don't let them get ripped off. Don't let me make mistakes. Increase my talent and help me
to play songs people know and like. T.Y. for just giving me the idea to type the songs and make
a song sheet for people to read from!
T.Y. for the updates I make on my web page. Make it bless others over and over again. T.Y. for
all of the many kind things people have said in my guestbook. You have blessed me with those!
Let them know You deeper. T.Y. for the blessings I have been given because of this and the
rewards that are in my Heavenly bank!! I have no idea how awesome Heaven is going to be.
You may have kept this knowledge from us so we don't take our lives and go to see You sooner!
Whatever the case may be, I love You and thank you so much. T.Y. for the promise of Heaven!
T.Y. for telling us a little about it, like there will be no more tears and suffering and we'll be in

Praise God for raising Jesus Christ from the dead!! This was an awesome miracle and I know it
gives me hope. Since He was raised and went to Heaven, I believe Him and know that it is
possible for me, also!

humor that people send me in the mail. Keep making it clean humor. T.Y. for the ideas You give
me to spread the gospel and encourage believers. T.Y. for the Randolph Macon girls that were

T.Y. for letting me learn a lot of things about Samson.
Bless this group as we pray, Lord. Give all of the people safety, boldness, and let the people
know Jesus. Praise You for what you did at Scaremare. Bless those people and let them have
changes in their lives for the good that will affect their lives and the world. Praise You for the
awesome things You have done. You are my everything.
T.Y. for forgiving us every time we ask. You are the perfect example of forgiveness. Praise You
for your perfection and mercy. I was an awful sinner and you had mercy on me. I didn't care
about You at all, but You loved me more than I can explain. T.Y. for loving me first. T.Y. for
having mercy on me first. T.Y. for forgiving me and making my life so much better.
Bless the people who went to witness to the people in Lynchburg. Make people change. The
Christians and the unbelievers. Help them to all come to You and draw very close to You. You
are such a good God. T.Y. for the feelings You are giving me! T.Y. for the visions You give me
for witnessing and spreading the gospel. Help me to be unafraid to share the gospel and my
devotions to the people in AOL chat rooms. Let me go tonight and ask a Christian room if I can
send the devotions to them and ask a secular room if they know Jesus Christ. T.Y. for the
boldness You give me. T.Y. that this doesn't require an incredible amount of effort or money or
anything. I'm online anyhow, just cause me to do it and not look back.
T.Y. for wanting the best for me, but also wanting the best out of me. You don't want a
half-hearted effort, but You want a whole hearted effort from me in my whole life. Give me the
wisdom to do everything with all of my heart. I love You, Jesus. Give me more love for You and
more love for others. T.Y. that I have things to do. T.Y. that I am not bored or lazy, but I have
an agenda and it is not a selfish one. Keep my motives and heart pure. Let me focus on You and
giving Your Word to the masses and encouraging the believers and growing spiritually. T.Y. that
I have the Holy Spirit living inside of me. It is changing me forever, from the inside out.
Bless my family and friends. Keep them safe as they travel and live this holiday season and
winter. Thank you that I have family and friends. Let them all know You in a special way.
Thank you for meeting them where they are and taking them where You want them to be. Praise
You for being such an incredible and necessary God. I would have no idea what to do in this life
without You. You are my guide. T.Y. that I just typed 80 words per minute. Help me to type
faster and keep on praying.
T.Y. that I have so many gifts from You!! You have given me this gold class ring, this nice steel
watch, this silver WWJD bracelet, these shoes, these socks and pants and shirt and tie. You gave
me my goatee and haircut and sideburns and body. Every single good thing I have has come from
You! I have not earned any of it with my own merit. I have hardly had a paying job on this earth.
But You have given me money and gifts through my parents, relatives, country and friends. Give
me the wisdom to use them wisely, Lord. T.Y. for not keeping track of what You give me and
demanding 100 times the same back. T.Y. for just giving and giving and giving. I am so blessed.
T.Y. that I have been spoiled. T.Y. that I can go to graduate school at Liberty Baptist
Theological Seminary and learn about You, Father. Teach me your ways. T.Y. for Dr. Hartman
and Dr. Giese who have taught me Old Testament things. Increase my knowledge of You and
Your Word. T.Y. that I have a much better understanding of Your work in the OT, now. Keep
revealing yourself to me, I'll be watching.
T.Y. that I have been given a great car. Bless it and don't let it break down. T.Y. that it gets
good gas mileage and is a nice looking car. T.Y. that I have a cd player to play Christian cds.
Bless my trips.
T.Y. that I get to go to Raleigh, North Carolina, tomorrow for my uncle's wedding. Let me bond
with the family if it is your will. I want your will for me and this family, in all situations. You are
my perfect God. Please keep them from getting drunk or smoking. Forgive them and protect me
if they do, Father. T.Y. that it is a 3-4 hour drive. Make it a great drive and draw me closer to
You in that time. Lead me to a good church on Sunday. Let me ask one of my relatives to visit
them on Christmas, since I can't go back to San Diego and be with my parents. Let me have a
super Christmas with them. And remind me to buy Tony and his wife a wedding card for
tomorrow. T.Y. for reminding me of this thing I need to do.
T.Y. that my relatives in North Carolina have been so kind to me. T.Y. that I've been far away
from them for a long time. Draw me closer now and help us to understand each other. Let my
face shine with Your love and Spirit. I are the strongest God I know. You are the greatest
influence in my life. You are for everybody. You are not for the weak or for the strong or for the
hungry or for the dying. You are for everybody. Let the world understand that they need You
and will die and go to hell without You, Jesus.
T.Y. for the prayers of the people in this prayer group right now. Let us know that what we are
doing is very, very, very valuable. You are changing things as we speak and think our prayers to
You! You are working in our lives and in the lives of others due to our prayers!
Give my relatives in NC salvation. Save all of them. Use me to spread the gospel or
encouragement. I want to see them in Heaven. I want to see them live better lives on earth. I
care about them and I want You to save them, Jesus.
T.Y. for Your awesome Word. T.Y. for prophecy that has been fulfilled and is being fulfilled.
Keep me watchful and ready for your return, Father. Make me learn the scriptures and see the
signs and smile, joyfully, as I know You are in control and You are about to bring me up to
Heaven forever! T.Y. for the promise of Heaven and eternal life with You! Remind me that I will
be there soon, perhaps before this body dies. That is such an awesome fact. T.Y. for prophetic
things that are possible now, but would have been impossible just 50 years ago. There are many.
T.Y. for the knowledge You have given mankind. Bless them and give them the knowledge of
You, also.
Keep me safe and warm this year. Don't let me get sick or too weak or cold, Lord. T.Y. for
blessing me with a strong body and mind. Keep it working right and don't let it stop working or
get ill.
Praise You for being the living God. You are alive and well and smiling at me from Heaven. This
I know and cannot deny. T.Y. that I haven't made a false god for my own pleasure, but I have
decided to follow Jesus -- there is no turning back. T.Y. for walking every step with me and
never leaving or forsaking me. I love You more than diamonds or silver. I love You more than
my parents, just as Your Word commands. Help people to know that You want us to love You
the most, and not actually hate my parents. T.Y. that the Bible is an awesome book!!! No other
book can change lives like the Bible. No other book comes anywhere close to changing lives as
much as the Bible. T.Y. for making it so readily available to me, in several translations. Help me
to learn what it truly means and not what I want it to mean.
Give me humility before You. Give me meekness before mankind. Give me kindness to others.
T.Y. that You have called every Christian to "judge righteous judgment." Remind us of this fact.
Don't let any of us shy away from helping others see the light of Your truth. T.Y. for my
opportunities to share the gospel and encourage Christians, Savior. T.Y. that your Word cuts
with the intent to heal. You don't shoot your wounded, but You build them back up! Praise You,
Lord. Let the cult members know that they are very confused. Let them know that they need to
leave, immediately, and seek You. Praise You for being the way, the truth and the life. There is
no other God like You.
T.Y. for my tans and my workouts. Don't take those away from me. T.Y. for the gains I keep
seeing in my muscles and in the amounts of weight that I lift! T.Y. that my squat went up from 15
reps of 270 bounds to 15 reps of 290 pounds. I used to lift far less than that, but You have made
me stronger. T.Y. for the intense effort I put into my workouts and work ethic. T.Y. when I
pray to You and listen to worship music. Keep me very close to You.
T.Y. for changing my language, lately. I've noticed that You are keeping my thoughts and words
pure and few. T.Y. Lord. Don't let me say to much or say anything evil or discouraging. Keep
my mind, thoughts and words pure. I don't want to hurt anybody, ever. To You be all of the
glory, honor and praise, forever and ever.

and teach all of them good things about You and how to reach people.
Bless me, increase my ministry, lay your hand on me and keep me from evil. Good things: 1)
gave plasma, 2) went to both classes, 3) prayed a lot, 4) sang worship songs, 5) led worship and
made copies of music for the people, 6) drove the speed limit, 7) feed and watered my animals.
Remind me to keep thinking of at least seven good things that happen to me each day. You are
the Giver of good things and your gifts never stop. Neither will my prayers, Lord.
T.Y. for having power over Satan and all things. He cannot do certain things because You will
not let him. Bind him and keep him from sending the masses to hell. T.Y. for Saddam Hussein
and the strange things that are happening in Iran and Iraq and all over the world. T.Y. for being
perfectly in control of everything. Even though the United States is not in the Bible, bless this
nation and keep it from perishing. I know it was very strong and it still may be. But I know that
there is danger everywhere. Keep us safe and secure, not in our own strength, but in the
knowledge that our future is securely in Your hands. T.Y. for letting me live in the United States
of America. I am so very blessed for being able to live in this country. Bless Bill Clinton.
Change his mind on gays. Give everybody the sight that You have and let us know that they are
not right and gay is not ok. T.Y. for showing us plainly in Your Word about this and many other
things that people try to change or "write-off" as inaccurate or not pertaining to them.
Give the people of Lynchburg and this country revival. Let them seek You with all of their
hearts. T.Y. for being a God that could do this. We don't even know what we are praying for
when we ask for this, sometimes. But we want You to do awesome things in our lives and in the
lives of others. Give more Christians an idea of who You are and what You can do.
T.Y. for Jerry Falwell and his church that I belong to. Let me keep learning great things and help
him to keep seeking You and never fall into sin. T.Y. for everybody who takes the time to pray,
Lord. Bless them a whole lot and remind them that You are in control.
T.Y. for servants of You that I never see or thank or know. Bless them and give them strength to
carry on. T.Y. for promising them strength and all of the promises that everybody else is
promised. Remind them that their work is no better or worse due to position. Their work is
equal in Your sight, but they, like everybody else, needs to work with all of their heart.
November 8 ~
T.Y. that I had a safe trip to Raleigh. T.Y. that the wedding went nicely and so did the reception.
T.Y. that I didn't drink or smoke, even though others did. Let my example help change them.
T.Y. that I have overcome these temptations! I used to fall so easily, but I have great strength in
You. Praise You for your power and for making me stronger than I could have been on my own.
T.Y. for giving me joy and contentment! Give me relatives a desire to know You, because You
are awesome. Give them good things, too, Lord.
T.Y. that this digital camera isn't working so well. Help me to find a good one when I get home,
or find something else to do with my money. T.Y. that the pictures turned out poorly. Please
have one of my relatives send me some good pictures. T.Y. that I got to see so many of my
relatives on my mom's side and have a good time with them. Bless them and bring us back
together again. Use me in whatever way you wish, Lord.
T.Y. for being here right now! Praise You for your faithfulness, that is what I'm saying! It is so
nice and comforting to have a faithful friend-- now and always! Bless me, increase my ministry,
lay your hand on me and keep me from evil. Give me joy, peace, wisdom and love. Increase my
faithfulness to You, Father.
Give me a great day tomorrow as I travel back to Lynchburg. T.Y. that I can have that time to
sing and relax as I see your creation. Sanctify me. T.Y. for all of the great Christian music that I
have. Bless those artists and lead me to the best ones for me, Lord. T.Y. that I get to go to the
Jars of Clay concert, soon. Let me find the perfect person to take with me. I know they won't be
perfect and neither will I. But when you reveal to me the right girl or guy, I'll know that they are

your perspective that I crave and desire!
T.Y. for the gifts of language and communication. You have taught me how to communicate,
how to use repetition and other devices to show how I feel. You have also taught me to identify
those devices and find out how other people are feeling. T.Y. for the knowledge You give me
about this and other things.
Help me write fantastic devotions, tomorrow. Let them be very encouraging. Help the people to
read them and grow spiritually. Let them be challenging, too. T.Y. for meeting us where we are
and taking us where You want us to be. T.Y. for not shooting your wounded, but healing them.
Let me understand that all Christians and people are under construction. Nobody is exactly like
Jesus Christ and nobody will be until we get to Heaven.
T.Y. for your Word and all of the awesome, incredible promises in it! Praise You for being the
kind of God who has kept promises for over 1000 years! T.Y. for helping me witness in the
pagan chat room last night. T.Y. that I had a sort of detachment from their evil and wicked
comments. T.Y. for protecting me from the spell that the witch cast at me. Save her soul and use
me as You wish. T.Y. that we are talking through email. Make her go to my web page and learn
more about You, Father. Save her soul. T.Y. for Suzan and Augie who witnessed with me. I
sent Augie without our knowing, but You knew and You provided for us because we were doing
Your will and that is what You chose to do. T.Y. for not ever leaving me hanging out to dry.
You keep on making me strong. T.Y. for my spiritual growth. In the past, when I witnessed to
rooms, I would take rude and evil comments personally. Now I could see their fear and
conviction. They were more transparent and I was less vulnerable. Praise the Lord!
T.Y. for revealing to me during prayer that I need to go into a secular chat room and witness and
I needed to go into a Christian chat room and offer the devotions. These were fantastic ideas.
Bless the 8 new people who requested the devotions. T.Y. for increasing my ministry and
encouraging Your saints through me.
Let me find a good church and attend it tomorrow. Bless me with some great things from your
Word. If it be your will, let me see some of my relatives tomorrow and even eat breakfast with
them, too. Help them to get up and see me, if it be your will. Either way, I love You and them
and I will understand that they were tired. I will not judge them for not going to church with me
in the morning. They could go tomorrow night or another time or listen to a sermon while they
are driving home. Help me to never think that people must do exactly what I do or what the
norm is to be right. T.Y. for this wisdom. Give me more wisdom, Jesus. In Jesus' name, Amen.
Also, help them to quit smoking and drinking. Use me if it be your will. Make me unafraid to
help them with the truth. I pray they know the truth, but if not, reveal it to them, Lord.

T.Y. for loving me so much! T.Y. for giving me the strength, even on less that five hours of
sleep, to finish writing and sending the devotions! Bless all of the people who read them and
make them give You thanks and praise, Lord.

T.Y. for loving me so much, Lord. You are an awesome God. T.Y. that I didn't have a very
dysfunctional family. T.Y. for healing broken people and families, Father. You are what
everybody needs to be healthy.
T.Y. for giving people wisdom and a relationship with You, Father. Let people know You in a
life-changing way. T.Y. for giving us the capacity to be healed and not pass bad habits or
problems to other generations. Praise the Lord! There is no other God like You.
Praise You for your faithfulness! Give me great, great joy as I pray and live, today! Take away
all of my insecurities, pains, worries and concerns. I lay my burdens on You, Jesus. Lift my head
and give me peace.
T.Y. that I'm in Pastoral Counseling right now! Give me knowledge. T.Y. that I can wear
longsleeves and a tie. T.Y. that these dress clothes shoes are fitting more comfortably. T.Y. that
I have nice jewelry and my hair is going the right way! These are minor things, but I thank You
because You gave them to me.
T.Y. for unveiling my eyes, Lord, so I can see You. Unveil the eyes of others. Let them see You,
Lord.
T.Y. that I am human and have human friends. T.Y. for our lack of perfection and the lack of
perfection in our families. Make us more like You. T.Y. that we have an open line of
communication with You because we have faith in Jesus Christ. I love You, Jesus. You are my
Lord, my God and my everything.
T.Y. for the challenges we face. Make me very strong, so I can deal with them. T.Y. for the
battles I've won and the defeats I've learned from. T.Y. for giving me ways to deal with my
problems and challenges in good ways. Let me continue to do so and not resort to evil or foolish
ways. T.Y. for when I have to wait. Cause me to pray and worship You in those moments. T.Y.
that worship songs and prayers came out of my mind when I was going through pain with the
needle in the plasma donation center.
Praise You for giving me a Godly perspective. Keep letting me see things through your eyes,
Father. Give me the wisdom to read Ruth and read some of my Pastoral Counseling book. Don't
let me fall behind in my classes, Lord. T.Y. that I can read these books on my computer and I can
listen to them on cd. Praise You! T.Y. that there are fantastic stories in these books, Lord.
Remind me how good good things are!! Satan tries to confuse me and tell me that good things
are bad and aren't worth my time, but I know that reading your Word is good.
T.Y. for giving me good memories of my childhood. T.Y. for being here and there and the same
in both places. T.Y. for giving me so much joy, even through my trials and suffering during my
youth. T.Y. for all of the lessons I learned from the foolish things I did. Forgive me for all of the
stupid things I did. T.Y. for the patience my parents had with me and the ways that they helped
me and comforted me. Bless them and me. T.Y. that I could have Christian parents who never
quit going to church or telling me that I needed You. T.Y. that I turned out all right. Show me
where I need to grow, but I thank you for making me a whole, content, fulfilled person. You
have made me and shaped me.
Bless the girl who had to move away and live in a home for girls. Bless her dad and her, Lord.
You are the God of my salvation. When I was a dirty, evil sinner, You died for me and loved me!
T.Y. for thinking about me and wanting fellowship with me, Father. T.Y. for even thinking about
me. Praise You for your power and creativity. You made this planet in an incredible way. No
human could ever have made such a planet or universe. Give me meekness and some humility. I
know You are in control and all-powerful.
Give me a great workout tonight. Let me endure and help my chest to get stronger and bigger.
Don't let me be prideful, but give me God-esteem because You answered my prayers! My prayers

T.Y. that I'm tired. Just like when my muscles are weak after lifting weights, my body is tired

Good things that happened today: 1) worked out my biceps, 2) got tan, 3) went to a TRBC
banquet for layworkers, 4) talked with friends and had fun, 5) drove my car, 6) got great pictures
back from Niagra Falls, 7) updated my web page and put 10 pictures on Tripod to free up space
on AOL.
T.Y. for my web page and internet ministry. T.Y. for the patience and determination You give
me. T.Y. that when people send me email, I can wait a day and respond without responding
quickly and harshly. Give me more wisdom and keep me from saying anything evil or foolish.
Give me more love for You and others.
T.Y. for the hour of prayer I should become involved with at TRBC. Make me faithful to my
promise to pray to You for a solid hour. Show me if I should pray in my journal, on the internet
or in my head. Your will be done, Lord.
Bless Dr. Hartman and Giese tomorrow. Let them show me great things in class, so I can become
more like You and know Your Word. Let me use what You've given me in a positive, Godly

your power and faithfulness. Just like your Word has persevered, You will persevere and cause
me to. Give me endurance and patience. T.Y. that I had to wait, today, while they put the tires
on my car. T.Y. for giving me wisdom to do things while I waited. I want to always find things
to do to pass time while I'm waiting instead of getting frustrated or impatient.
T.Y. that I can go to class tomorrow and learn. Let Dr. Giese accept my proposal, so I can write
the paper on Ecclesiastes. T.Y. that I have a lot of studying under my belt on the book of
Ecclesiastes. Let me add to it and write a great paper.
T.Y. that I get to learn from Dr. Hartman, tomorrow. Bless my class and classmates. Help the
Korean students and myself to understand and not fall behind. T.Y. for the pace that we move.

Christian rock n roll as I lift. Let me be a light in the darkness. Give me extra strength to push
my body to the limit. Give me a great biceps workout tomorrow. T.Y. that my routine doesn't
get boring and I don't want to skip workouts, but I can't wait until the next one!! I am amazed
how you have made me and changed me. T.Y. for the self-control and discipline You've given
me. Give me more, Lord. Let me have a good 30 minute bike ride tomorrow, too. T.Y. that I
can get tan at the gym. Protect my skin from cancer, but let me get a healthy tan.
Have mercy on these foolish psychics that are advertized on tv. Have mercy on the fools who call
on them. Stop these commercials from running and make these people repent. Lead me in your
ways and show me what to avoid, since other people are making poor decisions right before my

T.Y. for giving me great music to fill my head and ears. T.Y. that I live in 1997. I know that 150
years ago, cds and lots of Christian concerts were not around. Praise You! T.Y. that I could see
Jars of Clay and sing with them. Bless them. T.Y. that they sung all of their good songs! T.Y.
that I could sit in the middle and in the 3rd row! You are an awesome God. T.Y. for lifting me up
in the floods. T.Y. for showing me dry land and taking my hand.
T.Y. that I like the new Audio Adrenaline cd, too. Bless them and I.
T.Y. that I am going to school tomorrow! I'm excited about school, about my workout, about life
in general!!! T.Y. for making me the way You did. I will rejoice and praise your name, Lord
Jesus! What else should I do? I feel almost like You've given me a silver spoon because I know
You! I don't have too much and I don't have everything. But I have what You've given me and I
have used it well. Give me wisdom, so I can keep using your gifts well. Show me when to just

T.Y. for the humility and meekness that I have in You. You show me how You are God and I am
not. My power is so weak without You. I rely on You to move mountains. T.Y. for moving

for having time and wanting to talk to me and make me strong. Praise You for your endless
strength and powers. I have no idea what You can do. I am not a fool, but You are beyond
comprehension.
As I watch tv and listen to music, I see a dressed up man (with funny socks). T.Y. for my dress
clothes. T.Y. that I don't have to feel insecure or embarrassed or unequipped with old or dirty
clothes or habits. Let me understand people who have little or don't pay attention to the outward
appearance. Help me not to judge on appearances, but to keep looking at everybody like You
would. Praise You for seeing people's potential and not discarding anybody.
I pray for Saddam Hussein, that he would bow to You know, before he dies and does so. As
much as I'd like to see the US go and blow Baghdad away, I pray that they end the war
peacefully, if it be your will. Your will be done, Jesus. You are the perfect God and I'm sure this
is fitting in nicely to your end time plan. T.Y. for showing us how things will happen in the end.
T.Y. for all of the signs of the times. I will remain watchful and ready for the rapture! T.Y. for
promising us a ticket out of here before the great tribulation.
T.Y. for my cat and dog. Let somebody take care of them if I'm raptured before they die. Let
future believers get my things and find even these prayers and turn to You. You are the beginning
and the end, the alpha and omega. You are our only hope. A fool would look at this world and
say there is no God. And where did Jesus' body go? And why did the OT point to Him? And
why has He changed the world more than anybody else? I believe in You Lord! There is no other
like You, Father. You are my everything. Lord of lords. King of kings. Prince of peace. And
you want fellowship with mankind! I can sort of understand why You want fellowship with your
children, because a human father wants fellowship with his child. Because of this earthly
relationship, I can begin to understand our Heavenly one. T.Y. so much for loving me even when
I forget to pray to You or seek Your will or have patience. I'm afraid I've inherited some
impatience. Okay, a lot of impatience. I want things done yesterday and people can frustrate me
who are foolish or slow. So...even if it hurts, give me lots of patience. Give it to me
supernaturally, if it be your will, or make me wait and learn it as I wait. I don't want to get angry
at good people. I don't want to miss out on blessings by being in a hurry or foolish. Give me joy
and understanding, Jesus.
Don't let this tv get in my way. You have great plans for me, but I can't rest and relax too long.
Keep me close to You, Father. T.Y. for my victories and my ministries. Those should never be
overlooked by me or taken lightly. I have invested hours in changing my life and adding to the
lives of others. Praise You! I know You are blessing me and rewarding me like I do not know.
T.Y. for my style. T.Y. that I have a Cinco De May cup from 1989. What's that all about? T.Y.
that I've done a pretty good job not conforming to this world's expectations. T.Y. for the huge
step of faith I took when I put the 2 scripture bumper stickers on my car! I remember debating
that and I remember how I felt funny after I put them on there and for awhile I felt the spiritual
warfare. Now I do not! It may be because I'm in a different town, but I think You are making me
stronger and spiritually more mature.
Don't let my conversation or life be rote or routine or boring. Let it be exciting and new. Let me
listen to people and have confidence to be quiet. T.Y. for the times that I get to listen. Let me
talk and be a good leader when that is necessary, too.
Let me play with the worship band on Friday and even practice with them beforehand. T.Y. that
there is a band there. Help them to lead worship well and play good songs. Open doors for me to
be in a band, if it is your will. I love You and I love praising You with music. That will never
stop. If you want me to do it with others, fine, if you want me to do it in front of others, fine.
Whatever's clever. : ) I love You, Jesus. T.Y. that I don't have to be a businessman or a smooth
talker. T.Y. that I don't have to promote myself! You see me and You reward me. You are the
only one I need to impress and obey. All else is almost meaningless compared to You. Give me
love for people and don't let me just hide in my house and live large. I could easily do that, but I
need to see people and encourage them and grow with them. Give me a desire to be friendly and

to use my money in a good way and possibly even put it in a trust fund that will mature after I get
my first Masters degree. T.Y. that I have the chance to get a Masters degree. Let me get as
much education as I can, Lord. Let me study in Israel, if it be your will. T.Y. that I'm getting to
visit in December. Please don't let there be any wars and don't let the trip get canceled.
T.Y. that I have a nice car to drive. Let me have fun driving it to school and back tomorrow.
T.Y. that I have a free day, since I've been workout out hard and going to school and writing
papers. Let me relax and get a movie and go to the mall, Lord. Help me to not feel guilty
because we all need time to relax.
Help me do great on the test I have on Monday. Let me study hard and know all of the answers.

T.Y. that I could talk to Tim and share with him the gospel and Biblical principles. Help him to
learn about You. T.Y. for the chance AOL gives me to witness and encourage others in their
faithfulness to Jesus Christ. Give me more faithfulness to You, too, Lord.
T.Y. that I got a new cd today and I like it. Bless me and the Christian musicians. Bless Plumb
and the lead singer. Keep them on the right path. T.Y. for the promise of Heaven. Let the
people I see at church and school and everyone who believes really know You and be in Heaven
when they die or you take them up. T.Y. that I live in the time of the signs.
Don't let people be deceived by evil shows or people. Help them to discern what is true and what

anything bad happen on the planes or in the airports. Let the planes be on time.

heart. Let me die to myself. Let me only live for You and only love You the most. Teach me
your ways, so I can walk in your truths. Show me your paths O Lord, for I am devoted to You.

sent the devotions to over 1250 people. Praise the Lord! There is no other God like You. T.Y.
for helping me do everything.
Give me more love, faithfulness, joy, peace, kindness, self-control, meekness, forgiveness, mercy,
boldness and courage. Take away any worry, insecurity, selfishness, foolish pride or anxiety.
T.Y. for being such a good God.
T.Y. for the wisdom to study for my test, tomorrow. T.Y. that I don't have class until 3pm, so I
can study more tomorrow. Help me to not watch too much tv, but to study very hard, since there

T.Y. for giving me a good day. T.Y. for giving me the wisdom to check another fish store that
was on my way for the automatic fish feeder. I'm glad it saved me 10 dollars! Praise the Lord.
T.Y. that I had a great workout and pushed my biceps, today. T.Y. that I don't have the strongest
biceps in the gym, but I know what I'm doing. I use strict form and more repetitions. T.Y. that I
have the kind of workouts that I do. T.Y. that I don't care more about lifting a large amount of
weights fewer times and poorly. T.Y. that my biceps are big because of You and those facts.
Bless my body and keep me strong and safe. Don't let me get injured. T.Y. that I don't have to
skip many workouts while I'm in San Diego. Let me go to a gym while I'm there, if it be your
will. And let my dad go with me if it's your will.
T.Y. that Magnum PI is on television. Let me relax and have fun as I watch the show. T.Y. that
I have some time off school, so I can relax and rest and recuperate.
T.Y. for my spell checker on this computer, so I can learn to spell words like recuperate. I have

Give me great security and esteem in You. You have made me and You love me very much. I do
many good things all week because I love You and others and hate Satan. Make me hate him and
evil more and more. Make me love You and others more and more. Help me to love myself, too.
You tell us to "love others as yourself," showing we should love ourselves.
Don't let me ever believe lies or deny the truth. Reveal to me hidden truths and what Your Word
means in all situations. T.Y. for the truths that have changed my life and others' lives for the best
for centuries.

November 26 ~
T.Y. for giving me a safe trip to San Diego, Jesus. Bless me and my family, increase my ministry,
lay your hand one me and keep me from evil.
T.Y. that the price of gold is going way down and the price of silver is already really low. Bring
on more signs of the times. T.Y. for this one. Keep me close to You and your truths. T.Y. for
always being perfect and righteous.
Praise You for being faithful to me, no matter what. T.Y. for giving me peace on the airplane,
when I needed it most. T.Y. for showing me the fear on the faces on others, but giving me rest
and peace since I asked or it. You always hear me and answer me. There's no other God like
You.
Let me have a great time tomorrow as the relatives come over and we eat and socialize. T.Y. that
I get to be in San Diego and see them. Let Kurt and I talk about You and our friendship on the
internet. T.Y. that we have become friends. Let my dad and I get along and have a fun time.

November 27 ~ Thanksgiving
T.Y. that we had a great Thanksgiving. T.Y. for all of the joy You gave us, Father. You are an
awesome God. Bless our family and help them to keep praying. T.Y. for the wonder of Jesus
Christ and prayer. Let my family know what You're all about. I value our relationship more than
anything and when I see people without a relationship with You, I see a great need. T.Y. for
always revealing yourself when we seek You with all of our heart. There's no other God like
You, Lord.
Let me have a good workout, tomorrow. Don't let me get hurt or anything. Help me to get a
refund on the time I quit the local gym in San Diego. Let them understand what they should do.
Give me wisdom and love and joy and peace. I ask You things every night because You are my
God and You give them to me and I need them badly. Don't let me think I deserve these things. I
know You are so kind and loving that You give them to me. T.Y. Lord. Help me to continue
serving You and worshiping You. T.Y. for all of the encouraging and kind things people said to
me...especially on the internet! Bless all of my friends on the internet. T.Y. for this new way of
meeting people and talking to people.
Bless Jodie and her family. T.Y. that we are getting to know each other better. Let us go out and

You have a plan that is far beyond my imagination. The people you bring into my life are not the

T.Y. that today was such a good day. Bless me and my family. T.Y. that we laughed so hard at the Bill Murray movie, today. That movie was full of great, decent humor! Praise the Lord!
T.Y. for all of the nice things my parents got me. Bless them a lot, too. T.Y. that I have nice
clothes to wear and can feel good and secure because I am loved. I will not trust in my clothes.
They are just a covering for my body. But I know that You gave them to me and You care about
me. Praise You! T.Y. that I don't have to wear really old or poor clothing. You give me all I
need and more. You never give me junk or garbage, but You give me great things...things I can
enjoy and thank you for...things I can even give to others because I should and I have so much.
T.Y. that I took my jacket to the tailor to get altered. Bless her and let her do a super job on my
jacket. T.Y. that my dad paid for it, even though it wasn't extremely cheaper than it was in
Lynchburg.
T.Y. that my grandpa signed my guestbook. Bless him and make him seek You, Lord. Give him
good things and bring him into a sincere, awesome, life-changing relationship with You, Jesus.
T.Y. that I could see him and my family on Thanksgiving. Let them all grow in You and have a
safe Fall and Winter. T.Y. that I may have some options for Christmas. Let me find a good place
to go and be with loving Christians, if it be your will, Lord.
Let my day be super, tomorrow. Let me get some great writing down for my devotions and
papers. T.Y. for the wisdom to start now and not let it wait until the night before it's due. Help
me to do my very best. I want to put a sincere effort into my work. T.Y. that I can go to my
relaxing spot on the beach and bring my laptop computer and listen to acoustic music. Let me
have great peace and relax and enjoy myself. Give me contentment after and during seeing my old
city and favorite places. T.Y. that I can return and see them.
I love You, Jesus. You made the Heavens and the earth. You keep the stars in the sky. There is
no other God like You in all of the universe. Keep me very strong and faithful, Father. T.Y. that
I drove the speed limit and wore my seatbelt today, regardless of anybody or anything. Forgive
all of the foolish speeders on the freeway. I don't understand why they don't repent and follow
You. They are very weak and very scared. Help them to see You and the truth and know that
You are the best way. Praise You for being perfect and keeping me from evil and trouble and
pain.
T.Y. that I moved to Lynchburg, Virginia. Bless my time there. T.Y. that there seems to be more
Godly people. It is easier to forget about God in a beautiful, comfortable place like San Diego.
Many other things can fill the void that needs to be filled by You and you alone. You will fill the
void in my life every day and You have since the day I let You.

T.Y. that I can bring my laptop to my not-so-secret place on the bay. T.Y. that it is so beautiful
and peaceful here. I love You, Jesus. Remind me that there's blessings right around the corner,
so I shouldn't get sad or discontent. You will continue to bless me.
T.Y. for the bird I see flapping it's wings and sailing above the water. You have even created the
ripples on the water because You are sovereign God. You are the same God who knows the
number of hairs on my head.
T.Y. for the success of my internet ministry and the fact that my dad is telling my neighbors about
it. Bless all of them and have them sign the guestbook if it is your will. T.Y. that it has gotten 80
and 76 hits the past 2 days, respectively! That is an extraordinary number as far as I'm concerned!
Bless all of them and cause them to come back and share the web page with friends. T.Y. for the
countless hours I have spent updating it and writing papers and things for it. T.Y. for the joy it
brings me and the fact that it doesn't feel tedious or exhausting all of the time. It takes effort and
energy, but I never get sick of it. Don't let me get frustrated or tired of adding to it. It has been a
blessing over 2700 times! Praise the Lord!
Let me write my devotions and papers well, today. T.Y. for the wisdom to stop and pray to You
before I begin writing. Give me more wisdom, peace, joy and love, Lord. I want to be like You.
T.Y. that I type my prayers in this journal each day. Let me continue doing that no matter what.
Like today, I knew I'd pray in here sooner or later, so I chose now. And it is a good time.
Let me not forget to include anything in my paper for Pastoral Counseling. Make me recall all
things that are necessary for the paper. Take away all of my worry and fear. I don't want to be
nervous or anxious. You are in control. You have and are blessing me. And I've went to every
class and taken extraordinary notes. To You be all of the glory, honor and praise, forever and
ever. You are my Lord and my God and my everything.
T.Y. that I found 2 nice pairs of sunglasses at the beach, inexpensively. Let them last for a long
time, Lord. T.Y. that those sunglass huts are still on the boardwalk. T.Y. that I could see the
awesome beach and the waves with my own eyes. Let me not forget the time I had here, but not
regret leaving. Virginia has much to offer, but different things. Let me appreciate it and not
resent it. I want to see You in all things, even the snow and cold. You are here and You have
created these things and they are good. (R) Let me not call bad what You have called good.
T.Y. for this acoustic music tape I made before I left. Let me listen to it and think my own
thoughts as I hear talented guitarists. T.Y. that I get to meet Suzanne at 3:15 and see a movie.
Don't let me be late and let us have a great time, Lord. T.Y. that she has kept in touch with me.

Let her have a good year and grow in You, Jesus.
You are the way, the truth and the life. You are my Maker and Creator and Sustainer. Without
You, the world would cease to exist and there would be complete chaos. Let me never stop
praising You. You have made so many incredible things in this universe. I cannot list them all,
but I know they are from You. You made the stars and the planets and the trees and the wind.
Praise You! Humans have made nothing compared to You, Lord.

November 30 ~
T.Y. that I'm in an airport in Atlanta, Georgia. Bless me and give me great peace and patience.
Please don't let me have to wait here much longer. Your will be done in this way as in all others.
T.Y. for the chance to give up my seat and take a flight tomorrow. Let me get on the 10am flight,
tomorrow, Lord. I need to get to school and turn in my paper. Let my animals be all right as they
stay an extra night without me. Don't let them destroy anything and help them to enjoy
themselves.
Let me have joy and confidence that I made the right decision by staying here and taking the
$200. T.Y. for this opportunity and the chance to learn patience and take a different turn.
T.Y. for the nice Christians I met and T.Y. for the boldness I had as I shared the gospel with a
stranger. Bless him and bless the other guy who was talking to me. T.Y. for the nice high school
kids that were friendly and funny. Bless them, give them a safe ride home and let them continue
to have joy. Give them a relationship with You and let me see them in Heaven, Lord.
You are so worthy of my praise! There is no other God like You in all of the universe! You
