December Prayer Journal
December 1 ~
T.Y. for always being with me, Lord. T.Y. that I pulled out my computer and decided to type prayers in my journal at 1:59am. I do not care what time it is, I need You. I need to keep praying to You and investing in your power until the day I die. There is no substitute for a relationship with You, my Lord and my God.
T.Y. that I got to spend the day in Atlanta and stay the night here at the Marriott! You have blessed me with 200 more dollars, too! T.Y. so much, Lord. Let me have lots of extra frequent flyer miles, too, please, so I can take a free trip, soon. T.Y. that I had the chance to talk about You and spread the good news, Lord. Let me continue to be unashamed and live a sincere life of loving You more than anything else.
T.Y. that I got my first paper done! That was a relief. T.Y. that I revised it several times and did my best job. Let the teacher give me a great grade and understand why I'm turning it in late. Please don't let him dock me points because I turned it in late.
T.Y. that I met Anne and talked to her through email and on the phone. Let her call me if it's your will, but let our friendship continue. Make her seek You with all of her heart, now, and grow spiritually. Fill the void that can only be filled by You, Lord. There is no other God like You.
T.Y. for the adventures I've had in the airports and in between, here in Atlanta. T.Y. for Lamar, Phil and all of the other people I've met. Bless them all a lot and make them bow to You, now. I bow before You, Jesus and humbly seek Your riches and Your will. Reveal to me great and wonderful things, my Lord.
Let me answer the Youth Crisis hotline tomorrow night and be joyful about it. Don't let me answer calls reluctantly or dread doing it. I will be blessed by God for doing this. I will be helping kids and people who are desperately in need! Give me endurance and great love and patience with them and for them. I want to help the hurting and needy...they need You and I can tell them all about You! Give me the wisdom and knowledge to be a fantastic counselor.
T.Y. that I have changed the way I pray. I do not pray for good things or all right things, but I pray for fantastic things and awesome things. I do not pray for a good grade, but I pray for a great grade. T.Y. for answering my prayers, Lord. I have seen Your answers and I'm forever impressed and amazed. T.Y. for working through a very human and ordinary person such as myself. Without You, I'd be trash and garbage. There would be nothing in my life worthy of looking up to without You, Lord. You have molded me and given me all that I have. I love You, Jesus. You are my everything.
T.Y. for my parents and their support. Bless them a lot and keep them on the right path. Give us all more love for You and others.
Let me finish my paper tomorrow before 3am, please Lord. I don't want to be up super late and cramming with my eyes red and aching. Let me finish early and still have time for a workout, answering the hotline and sending the midweek message. Those are the things I must do and can do. Help me to keep those at the top of my priorities. You are so awesome God. T.Y. for giving me wisdom and discipline. Give me more of those qualities. Give me kindness and peace, too. Give me self-control and mercy.

December 3 ~
T.Y. that I'm back in San Diego, Lord. T.Y. that I finally get to sleep in my own bed, see my own animals and go to my own gym. Let me keep doing great things and getting A's on my papers. T.Y. that I finished my Pastoral Counseling paper and I'm almost done with my Joshua-Kings paper. Let me put the final touches on it tomorrow and keep doing a super job. T.Y. for all of the time and effort I used to explain Israel's condition in the time of the Judges. T.Y. for all that I learned in the process of writing and researching for this paper. Let Dr. Hartman know I spent a good deal of time on this paper and let him give me an A.
T.Y. that I could go workout and take my mind off the paper. Let me keep growing stronger. T.Y. for the way I pushed my muscles to the very limit. Give me great self-control and mental strength. You are my God and I need You every minute of every day.
T.Y. that I got $400 in Atlanta! Bless the people at Delta. Let them all know You, Christ, as their Lord and Savior. T.Y. for the people who encouraged me and the people You gave me to encourage and witness to. Praise the Lord in the highest Heaven!!
T.Y. for my Christian and acoustic music. Bless me, increase my ministry, lay your hand on me and keep me from evil. Let me wake up and feel very refreshed, tomorrow. I want to have a good night's sleep, Lord.
T.Y. for all of my study tools and guides that have helped me write this paper. T.Y. that I took about 8 hours to write it! Let me keep spending enough time to write good papers, Lord. I love You so much, Jesus. And I'm so tired. In Jesus' name, Amen.
December 3 ~
T.Y. for giving me a great day, although it wasn't easy. T.Y. that I worked so hard on my paper last night and finished it this morning. T.Y. for the way I handled it and wrote it and just the fact that it is finished and I did my best job. Praise You.
Bless me, increase my ministry, lay your hand on me and keep me from evil. T.Y. for loving me so much, Jesus. Give me more love for You and for others. Help me to put You first and seek You every day through prayer, listening and worship. T.Y. that I only listen to Christian music. Let me be selective even with that. I don't want to think thoughts that are wasteful or stupid. Let me still have fun and joy as I listen to Godly things.
T.Y. that there are 2 parties this weekend for me at Seminary and church. Give me a super time and help me to speak to the right people and have some laughs and be serious when the time is right for that, too. T.Y. for making me unafraid of anything but You. Let me continue to be strong with You by my side. You are my God and very, very, very powerful. I have no idea what You are really like because my brain can't comprehend it and I'm glad. A God that I could fully understand wouldn't be able to meet my needs; the needs that I don't understand or even know.
T.Y. that I don't have a girlfriend, but am content. Continue making me content with You and what You've given me. T.Y. for those that are married and do have boyfriends and girlfriends. Let them be content and still seek You, Jesus. T.Y. that my life is so incredibly good. It really always has been good. There have been ups and downs and rough times. But for the most part and I mean 95%, my life has been fantastic. T.Y. for all of it--the good and the bad. Let me continue to see things in a Godly manner and praise and thank You for all things. You created me and my situations. There is no other God like You in all of the universe. You are my everything.
T.Y. for Mike and the kind things he said to me, today. Bless him and help him to do very well on his papers and tests in Seminary. T.Y. that we can hang out. Let us grow in You and hang out more if it's your will, Lord. T.Y. that I do not think like the average person or Seminary student. T.Y. for making me unique. Don't let me feel ashamed or anything because of the way You have made me. I will seek You each day with all of my heart even if I am the last person doing so on the face of the universe. T.Y. for all of my peers. Let them keep seeking You until we see You face to face, Jesus. Help us to all grow in the knowledge of You, Lord. We need You. We have tasted and liked You very, very, very much. Let others have salvation and success, Lord, after knowing You. You are the only way, truth and life. I know this. I have experimented with worldly things and found them vain and unfulfilling.
Give me great peace in all aspects of my life. T.Y. for the great workout I had today and yesterday. Let me continue to be safe and get stronger each and every day. T.Y. for the fitness magazines that I read; they tell me better ways to workout my muscles. Give me great wisdom in this area and in all things, Lord. T.Y. for the pain that I feel in my muscles. Let them grow. Give me a great workout, tomorrow. Let my legs get nice and strong, Lord. T.Y. that I have been walking a lot (in airports and stuff), but have not lifted weights with them for about 2 weeks. Let me get back into the routine painlessly if it is your will.
To You be all of the glory, honor and praise, forever and ever. Help me to get an A and do my best job on the paper on Chronicles, due Friday. T.Y. that I can rest this weekend and catch up on sleep and things. Let me put all of life in proper, Godly perspective. T.Y. so much that I pray to You and worship You. Only by these means can I cope with life. Without You I would have no hope, no chance, nothing. Zilch. But with You, I have everything I need!!!! In Jesus' name, Amen.
December 4 ~
T.Y. that I had a good day and a good workout. Heal my legs and make them stronger. T.Y. that I'm lifting more weights than I used to lift. Don't let me get injured.
T.Y. that I could talk to Jodie on the phone. Let us understand each other and have patience with each other. T.Y. that we seem compatible and we both know You. Remind us to worship and seek You with all of our heart. T.Y. that I have a genuine relationship with You. T.Y. that I am so different than so many people on earth. Help everybody to be just like You, Lord. There is no other God like You in all of the universe. You are my role model and desire. Let Jodie and I hang out and become better friends if it's your will. Let us have joy and laugh a lot.
Give me peace that only You can give. T.Y. for calming my nerves and blessing me a whole lot. Don't let me every worry or sin. T.Y. for giving me your Word. You have shown me the way of success, happiness and fulfillment. I will follow.
T.Y. for Audio Adrenaline and their new album. Bless them and all Christian musicians. T.Y. that I have only Christian and acoustic cds that encourage and bless me. Let me never forget what is necessary and fulfilling. T.Y. for changing my life in so many ways. Give me more faithfulness, love, kindness and joy. I want to love people like You do. Help me to have a great time at the Seminary students party tomorrow night. Let me get along with everybody and find something to like about each one of them. Let them accept and love me, too. I want to be Christ-like no matter what happens. T.Y. that I have the chance to go to a party and have fun. Help them to have fun, too. Remind me to go to the grocery store and get the food I need to bring to the party.
T.Y. that the weekend is near and I have written all 3 of my papers well and on time! Praise the Lord. T.Y. for the great sense of accomplishment and contentment. Let my instructors give me A's. Help me to get a scholarship, so Liberty will pay my tuition and whatever else you will.
Forgive me of all of my sins and keep me on the right path, Lord. T.Y. for lifting my head and giving me a clean start every day.
T.Y. for my fish and animals. Bless them and keep them alive and well.
Let me have a great day at school tomorrow. T.Y. that I can go to school and learn great things. Let me have a nice walk across campus to register for classes and check my mail. T.Y. for loving me so much, Lord. Give me love like You have for You and others. T.Y. that I have a really nice new jacket and gloves. Let me stay warm and healthy. Don't let me get sick this winter or fall.
Let me do well on my finals and get A's. I want to study and do my very best. T.Y. for helping me research and write such good papers. T.Y. for letting me have a web page and an internet ministry. T.Y. that it's averaging so many visitors, especially lately. Let people continue to come and be blessed.

December 5 ~
T.Y. that I made it through today and this week! Praise the Lord. T.Y. that I got all of my papers in on time and did my very best job on them. Let me get great grades on my final exams, Lord. T.Y. that the most time consuming part is done and I am on the home stretch. Let me keep proper perspective in my classes and not worry or take anything too lightly. Help me to find the answers for the study questions for OT Orientation. Help me to find the topics to study in Joshua-Kings or let me remember to get the study guide from Dr. Hartman on Monday.
T.Y. that I have been able to take so many pages of notes this year. I have taken over 100 pages of type written notes and I have written over 50 pages of papers. Let me keep on taking good notes and listening to wise teachers. T.Y. that my teachers knew so much this year. Let me keep having great teachers who love and understand me and You.
T.Y. that Mike and I could hang out tonight and go to the Seminary party. T.Y. that we could play some music on the guitar and congas and sing praise songs to You. Increase our talents on our instruments. Let us grow spiritually in many ways, Lord. Help Mike to pray to You and keep on the right path. T.Y. for being our God and an awesome God. There is no other God like You in all of the universe. You are the Holy one on high. You are in Heaven and have created everything in existence. T.Y. for caring about me and knowing everything about me. T.Y. that You haven't decided to give others the job of talking to me on your behalf, but You have chosen to answer all of my prayers, personally. There is no other God like this in all of humanity. You are God and You are perfect, my Lord. Praise You for your perfection and righteousness. Give me wisdom, righteousness and purity. I want to be just like You, Lord. Help me to make great decisions and not foolish ones.
T.Y. that I could eat lunch with Dan. Bless him a lot and let us grow as friends, too. T.Y. that he is kind and bought my meal. T.Y. that he is humble and a nice guy. Let us grow spiritually. Give me more love for You and all other human beings on the planet. T.Y. for the chances You've given me to give things to others. Let me never quit giving until I die and see You, Lord. I want to give people what You've given me...possessions and intangible things. I pray that You will save more people and give them an awesome, life-changing relationship with You, Savior.
Let my legs heal! They are so sore, today. T.Y. that I got an incredible workout, yesterday. Let them get stronger and more muscular looking. T.Y. for the fact that I don't shy away from working out things like my legs. Give me great courage in all things. I never want to fear anything but You. Make me confident and strong in this life. I will lift my head because You are pulling it up. Keep my spirits up and level. T.Y. for giving me such great understanding and discernment. Give me more and let me continue to know my strengths and weaknesses and be able to read people and their actions, words and motives. T.Y. that I am a very analytical person. Increase those skills, too. Increase my ministry, lay your hand on me, bless me and keep me from evil.

T.Y. for loving me so much. You are an awesome God. Bless me, increase my ministry, lay your hand on me and keep me from evil.
T.Y. for being my God and being with me now and until the end of time. Keep me safe and strong every day of my life. Praise You for being faithful to me, like no other god or person could be. I hate evil and idols. Give me great hate for Satan and evil. They are the opposite of you and they want to destroy me.
T.Y. for giving me Jodie to be friends with. Bless her and give her a good day at church, tomorrow. T.Y. that we talked on the telephone and prayed. Let us have a deeper friendship if it is your will, Jesus. T.Y. that we could grow spiritually through our debate and through the rest of the conversation.
You are my everything. I love You more than precious gold or silver or anything else under the sun. Let me have an undivided heart and seek You each day with all of my heart. I repeat things because I mean them sincerely. I need You, Lord, more than anything. Keep me on the right path. Don't let me ever stray or go my own way. I'll need you tomorrow like I need you today.
T.Y. for my skills on the guitar. Increase my talent and help me to worship You until the day I die. T.Y. so much that Mike and I could play together last night. Give him a great day and night. Let him have more skills, too.
T.Y. for the ways I just found that I can help my web page. Let me continue to improve it and let it be available for the world to see. T.Y. that I got an A on my Christian service project. I know it was because I love You and You love me. Please let me get A's in the rest of my classes, too. I know that You can do anything and that I'll be working very hard.
T.Y. so much that I get to go to Israel, soon. Bless the trip and keep me safe. Don't let me get hurt or die, if it is your will. Let me see the historical, Biblical sights and feel like You and your chosen people did. Reveal to me deep and hidden things about God's Word that I could only find by being there in the Holy land. Bless Israel and all of the people in it. Let the accept You and know that You are God. Don't let them die without telling them that You are the only way to Heaven. You are the only way, truth and life. No body will come to the Father in Heaven without You.
T.Y. for all of the prophecies that were fulfilled in the OT and NT. Praise You! There is no other God that knows the past, present, future and is not contained by time. You made time. Let me make the most of my time on earth. T.Y. that I work very hard at the thing on my plate. Let me continue to put my heart into my work. Praise You, Lord. Don't ever let me feel like I am not doing a good job when I really am. Don't let me ever feel like I'm not doing enough when I am. Convict me when I should feel conviction and let me know it's from You, Lord.
Let me have a super day at church, tomorrow. Bless my fast and keep my mind on You, Jesus. T.Y. that I can go to Thomas Road Baptist church and lead a group. Let the group have fun and learn some good things. Give me a great challenge and fact for them. Give us sanctification, let us become just like You, Lord.

T.Y. for giving me a nice and relaxing day. T.Y. that I got to do my laundry, clean the house, unpack my clothes, and do my mail. Let me have a great finish in school. T.Y. that my Christian service project is done, but I'll keep doing it.
Give me wisdom to write great devotions. Let me send them without problem and let the people read them. T.Y. for the chance to impact so many people with Your Word. Praise You for the power of Your Word. There is nothing else like it. There is no other God like You.
T.Y. that I have a nice warm place to live. Let me continue to bask in your promises and love, Lord. You have showered your blessings down on me and I barely know what to do or how to keep up with them. But I will keep thanking You. You are the Giver of all good things.
T.Y. for my web page and the ways You've given me to improve it. Let me keep doing that.
T.Y. that I could learn from Dr. Falwell, today. Bless him, his church and his ministry. T.Y. that I am a member of his church. T.Y. that I have school tomorrow, too. Let me learn some great things.

T.Y. that I will have some money to do with what I like. Let me replace my clothes and do something good with the rest. If I add this money to the $400 for waiting in Atlanta, I will have made over $1000. T.Y. for the money my parents gave me in Shekels and Drachmas. Let me find nice gifts and things in Israel and Greece.
Protect me. Especially on my trip. Don't let my computer get stolen or damaged. Let me keep the faith and keep sending devotions and praying in here. T.Y. for the chance to have a prayer journal and a lap to computer. T.Y. that I can visit places on the internet, easily. T.Y. that I have access to places all over the world and all kinds of information that was next to impossible to get only 100 years ago.
T.Y. that I have a powerful Bible program with the Greek, Hebrew and several translations of the Bible. Let me keep learning about You and thanking You, always.
T.Y. that I am so blessed. You have been watching me and giving to me. Praise You for your faithfulness. Keep me strong and on the straight and narrow path. Let me get physically strong at the gym, tomorrow. Don't let me feel intimidated or tired, but give me great strength, stamina, esteem and lift my head to carry on. Praise You for your power and the power You give me when I need it the most. T.Y. that I workout my muscles until they are very sore and exhausted. T.Y. that I have not suffered any serious injuries through my workouts. Let me continue to be injury-free.
Bless my friends and family. Let us all know You better and grow in love for You and others. T.Y. for loving us all equally, regardless of our deeds and works. T.Y. that we can't earn your love. Help me to be meek and strong, but not think of myself as better than others. Let me love them like You would. Let me seek You like Jesus did. I love You, Lord. T.Y. that today went well. T.Y. that I could learn some great things in Pastoral Counseling. T.Y. that I got a 96 on my test! T.Y. that my teacher accepted my paper and understood about my flight being canceled. Bless him and give him more wisdom and understanding. T.Y. for loving me so much, Lord. T.Y. for reminding me to get my study guide for Joshua-Kings. Help me to study hard and do very well on the test in there. T.Y. that I could get straight As for the first time since I was in elementary school (or maybe ever).
T.Y. that I have Christian music stations and Christian music television here in Lynchburg. Let me not take anything like this for granted. You have blessed me a lot. Bless me more, Lord. T.Y. for the encouragement You give me and the faith that You give me. Give me more faith in You, Lord. Let me know You better and better every day. T.Y. for this powerful computer that i can just put in a Christian cd and begin playing music! Technology can be used for many things and I pray that I always use it wisely. Give me great wisdom and knowledge and understanding.
You know I won't quit praying. I've tasted the power that You have; it has changed my life and continues to do so. Keep forming this clay into what You want it to be. Give me contentment with Your will. Let me be great since I love You more than anything. (R) I will be a man of great faith because that is all I have. T.Y. for giving me proper perspective in life. T.Y. for giving me a knowledge of what is good and what is evil. Don't let me chase false gods or hopes. Let me always stand on the unchanging rock of Your Word and lift my head high. You are my God and with You no enemy can stand up to us.
T.Y. for my friends and family. You have given me so much. T.Y. that I learned about all kinds of mental disorders and problems and I do not have any of them. You have blessed me with health and I thank you for that, sincerely. Keep me healthy and strong. Let any traces of pathology diminish and disappear since I rely on You.
T.Y. for the guitar and the sounds it can make. T.Y. how my senses enjoy it and love worshiping You with it. T.Y. that I stopped listening to secular music and don't want to hear it any more. Give me strength each day and don't let me get back into that bad habit. T.Y. that Godly music brings me so much more close You! Let me know You. Reveal to me great and hidden truths. Give me security and patience with joy, peace and love. I don't want to be lacking any Godly qualities. Fill me up with Your character and draw me close to You, forever.
T.Y. for the news and everything I learn through it. Let me see it as You would. I want to know what's going on from a Godly perspective; how to handle and process it. T.Y. for all of the suffering and crazy people in the world. You are still on the throne and that won't change. Just show me what's next and how to cope with what's going on right now. Praise You for being faithful to me and all people on earth. Praise You for being changeless and powerful. I know that You will take me up to Heaven before the Great Tribulation. You have told me in Your Word and it is consistent with Your character. Praise You and thank You!! T.Y. that the time is so near. Reveal to me and the world if the Russian man named Vladamir is going to be the new President of Russia and attack Israel as Your Word says Russia will, someday. T.Y. for all of the possibilities that could happen. T.Y. for the wise counselors that teach me about Bible prophecy and help me relate it to world events and people. Don't let me ever fear, ever. You are my salvation and my hope. I know where I've been, but more importantly, I know where I'm going. Give me great faith and security in the promises of Your Word. There is nothing like them. You have kept promises for thousands of years, such as the rainbow. I know You are true. No other book compares to the Bible. T.Y. for letting me have several of them and thank you for letting me be free to read them! Protect and strengthen the ones who must read it in secret or be persecuted.
I know America is headed for trouble. Many things indicate this. Have mercy on me, my family, my friends and my country. I know that your mercy is the only thing that keeps us alive. Without your mercy, your justice would wipe us off the face of the planet, immediately. I've heard it said, "If You don't judge America soon, You owe Soddom and Gomorah and apology." I don't think you apologize since You are perfect. I know that there is lots of immorality in America. It has been an interesting nation, unlike all others. Let me be safe and direct me to another country, if it is in your will. T.Y. that I have options and I don't have many permanent ties in the United States or Virginia. Let me follow You no matter what the cost.
Please have the airline who lost my suit bag reimburse me completely and without a problem. T.Y. that they lost it and I had to go through the time and effort of calling and replacing it. Let me have plenty of money to replace the things that were lost or stolen.
Give me great love for You and others. I want to love people like You would, without pretense. Let me not accept sin, but accept sinners. You never rebuked people who sincerely gave their heart to You. But help me to judge sin as You would, too. T.Y. for the love that You've given me and shown through me. Let me be content with my past and the ways I've shown love and neglected to. Forgive me for all of my sins.
T.Y. for giving me so many good things, Jesus. I am so blessed. T.Y. for Nelson and the AOL updates that he sent me. Bless him. Bless all of the people who read my Midweek message, tomorrow. T.Y. for the chance to encourage people and send them helpful links.

T.Y. for letting me wake up today and have a good morning and afternoon. T.Y. that I could talk to my dad about things. T.Y. that my parents bought me some clothes. Let him know I appreciate them a lot. Let the airline replace them like they should. T.Y. again for this circumstance and making me grow spiritually though it. I accept the challenges and trials.
Give me super peace, Lord. Take away all of my worries and fears and replace them with your awesome peace that passes all understanding. You are an awesome God. T.Y. for the way you always make me feel when I sincerely ask for peace. You answer prayer and are faithful. Put my life and my day in proper perspective. T.Y. for the things that I need to do and the fact that I do not have to do anything at all. Let me keep getting things done, as I should. Let me get a super workout on my biceps, today. I pray that you'll give me great strength, unlike what I have seen and known. Let me get milk, bananas and tapes; life's necessities. Just kidding! Give me more joy, Lord. Put a smile in my heart and a smile on my face. You have done it so many times I cannot count them.
T.Y. for letting mankind live each day on this earth. Without your permission and will, mankind would cease to exist. Continue to bless me, increase my ministry, lay your hand on me and keep me from evil. Praise You for your faithfulness. T.Y. for making me spiritually stronger each day. T.Y. for letting me live this life and have freedom without making me unhappy or miserable. I love You, Lord.
Let me enjoy my time on the youth crisis hotline, tonight. Bring some discouraged souls to me and I will encourage them with your truth and love. T.Y. for giving me the chance to counsel and love them. Give me great wisdom to counsel them in the best way. Give me chances to pray with them; open their hearts. Let them accept Christ and seek Him with all of their heart.
T.Y. that Jodie can't go with me to the Christmas program. Let me know who I should invite. T.Y. for the friends that I have and the people I know. Bless the Christmas program and bless me. Let her have a great time at her church function. Praise You for being perfect and having the best plan for all of us. Just show me your plan and I will accept it. You are God. T.Y. that I do not have to be in control of everything. I can relax and let go.
T.Y. for Larry Norman and the fact that I'm making a tape of him for Jane. Bless both of them. T.Y. for the countless people he's encouraged through his music. Bless them all. Let me get an A on the test and know all of the answers well. T.Y. for the study guide that Dr. Hartman produced for us. Give me wisdom to study and knowledge to know what I'm studying. T.Y. that the things I will study are Biblical, important and interesting! T.Y. that I don't have to learn ungodly things like I used to. Strengthen the people who must learn ungodly things in order to get a good grade. Let them know that You are Lord, no matter what; you're not applying for the job. Help them to go to a school where they can pray and learn about You, as I can and do. Don't let Satan deceive them and make them believe lies. Expose the evil one and his ways. You are much more worthy of following and listening to. Satan is evil and I hate him more than anything. Give me deep hatred of him and evil. Give me deep love for You and good. (R) I don't want to casually hate evil or casually love good. I want to have an undivided heart and sincerely, powerfully hate evil and love good. There is no other way. If I don't hate evil with all of my heart, then I am giving it a place in my heart and life. I love You, Jesus. T.Y. for helping me pray and being with me every minute of the day.

Let my icons at the bottom of my computer return, Lord. Let my computer work efficiently and not give me any problems. It is all in your hands, so do as You will. Computers and every person on this planet is subject to You. Your will be done, my Savior. T.Y. for being such a good God. I can rest in the knowledge that You will make everything all right; either here on earth or up in Heaven. T.Y. for giving me the promise of Heaven; eternal life with You! Reveal to me good and evil like a green or red stoplight. I don't want to walk on the fence or cross the line, I want to run joyfully in your green pastures! Bless Jodie and her family. Let them continue to get along. Bring us all closer to You, Jesus. Give us strength to overcome obstacles that the evil one has put in our lives. T.Y. for setting me free! I am not bound like I used to be. T.Y. so much for giving me the strength, the day I truly wanted it, to abstain from smoking, drinking, drugs and premarital sex for the rest of my life. You are a God who keeps your promises! I have tasted and I know that You are good, righteous, awesome and true. There is no other God like You! I'm blown away at how You keep promises that were made over 1000 years ago. Help me to keep promises for my lifetime; which is much shorter than that! Let me understand the power of words and never lie. Take all evil away from me and let me know that it is always best to be honest.

T.Y. for the ways that I've kept studying and persevering even when I was tired and sick of studying. Help me to keep prioritizing things correctly.
Give me love for You and others. Let me be just like You, Lord. T.Y. that I have a choice, actually many choices. Let me unselfishly, willingly love others and You. T.Y. for dying for me and loving me first. There is no other God like You.
Praise You for your faithfulness to me. It is comforting to have You by my side 7 days a week, 24 hours a day. Let me never forget about You. T.Y. for being my God. I love You, Lord.
T.Y. that life is so simple and I don't want too much. Let me always be content and not worry about anything. T.Y. for letting me see what I need. T.Y. for letting me take each day at a time and not get too anxious for the future; or wish for the past back. Give me direction and keep me on the right path. You are my light and my everything.

Take every once of worry away from me. Let me have great peace and confidence with my decision to buy liability insurance. T.Y. that I live in Lynchburg, Virginia where there isn't much crime. Let me get in and out of the DMV easily, tomorrow. T.Y. that I have to go there and register my car. Let me enjoy it and not dread it. Also, let me find the place easily. T.Y. that I have to do some things tomorrow, but not too many. Give me a super day as I drive around and get things accomplished.
Let me do a super job on all of my studying for the Israel trip. T.Y. that I do have things that I must do before I go. Let me do them all in a fantastic way and learn a whole lot. T.Y. for this opportunity to learn more about the places where You walked and talked! Let me value it highly and not take it lightly. I know that You could have come to any part of the world. T.Y. that I got 2 final grades back today and they were good. T.Y. that it only took a couple of minutes before I gave thanks to You! Let me always give thanks to You for all things. I never want to forget that You are the source of all of my resources. You are an awesome God.
T.Y. that I don't live a life of doubt or pride. I don't think I have power over my circumstances. I don't think I can control people. I know that my God is in complete and total control, always. T.Y. for your promises. T.Y. for being so worthy of my attention, Jesus. T.Y. that I am not in control and I do not have super powers. Bring down the prideful people who trust in their own abilities or money. I know that every knee shall bow and every tongue confess that You are Lord, but why not now? Cause many to come to Christ in these last days, Lord. People need You and they are hurting. They are fools, yes, but we all are fools at one time or another. Give them the strength and desire to seek You. T.Y. that during the Christmas season it looks like people are turning to You. Don't let people lead completely empty lives. Don't let people remain miserable and misdirected. Cause all alternative power methods to be revealed as completely false and foolish. Let people know exactly what they are doing when they deny You. Don't let weak minded people seek psychics and cults. Deliver them and bring them to Jesus and the true Christian churches. T.Y. that I am not a fool and I don't believe that my church building is the only way to You. Pull people out of religions that are hurting them and bring them to You in a legitimate church and relationship.
T.Y. for my health and my outlook on the future. Keep my spirits up. Only You can make me feel so joyful and content during Christmas, over 2000 miles from my parents for the first time, without a girlfriend or a lot of friends in Lynchburg, etc. T.Y. so much for the peace that I cannot explain! T.Y. so much that everything was perfect and painless at the plasma center today! That was an answer of prayer and I'm so very glad! Keep blessing me, Lord. Increase my ministry, keep me from evil and lay your hand on me.
Bless Ron and my old friends back in San Diego. Keep them close to You. Have them keep seeking You with all of their heart. Remind Howard and the rest of them that I love them and appreciate them. T.Y. that today was a great day. T.Y. that I returned my video at Blockbuster and got some free popcorn. Bless those people. T.Y. that I got a great back workout today at the gym. Heal my muscles and make them stronger. T.Y. that I can tell by the way they look and feel and by the increases in weights that I can lift more now and I'm stronger now. Praise You! T.Y. that even my injured lower back is better. I know that You healed it and You answered my prayer. I remember calling to You in pain and asking You to remove my pain and You have.
T.Y. that I could watch some good movies on tv, today. Bless the actors and actresses that entertain in a good way.
Let me keep getting things done each day for my trip to Israel. Remind me to do everything I should and forget nothing. T.Y. that I have been working on them and I haven't left them all to the last minute. Let me work hard the next three days, so I won't have to cram after Christmas.

T.Y. that I had a safe drive home from Jonesville. T.Y. that I could stop and see my Aunt Mary and Randall and Justin. Bless them a lot. Keep all of my relatives safe and let them know you more and more each day. Give them all salvation and an awesome relationship with You, Jesus. I will not be surprised when You answer prayer, since I have faith and You are a good God.

T.Y. that I don't feel too well, Lord. Heal my body. Let me feel strong. Take this illness and nausea away from me. T.Y. for being with me through all things. Let me get my things done and enjoy life these last few days in Lynchburg. Help me to feel super when I wake up tomorrow and sleep really well tonight.
T.Y. that I put in several hours of work, today. Let me pack all of my things and put in some hours tomorrow. T.Y. that I could watch some football games, today. T.Y. that more games are on tomorrow. Let me have fun as I watch them. T.Y. that I can watch Jerry Falwell's sermons on tv, too, at 11:30 am. Let me learn some great things from his sermon, tomorrow. T.Y. for my health and the fact that I do feel better. T.Y. for the wisdom to pray to You amidst my fatigue. Let me never be confused about my agenda. You have showed me what to do in your Word. December 28 ~
T.Y. for giving me a good day, today. T.Y. that I don't feel sick any more. Praise You, Lord! T.Y. that I am healthy and not achy. Let me feel strong after my trip and as I travel. T.Y. for giving me good food and stuff. Let me eat well and even sleep some on the plane.
T.Y. that I can bring my computer. Let me pack everything and forget nothing. Let me find room in the bags that I'm allowed. T.Y. that I washed and packed some things already.
T.Y. that I wrote the devotions and sent them. Bless all of the readers and make us all closer to You, Lord. Let me have a great time in the airport and finish my essays. Don't let me worry about anything. Give me wisdom to keep praying to You throughout the entire trip. T.Y. for answering every prayer and being totally faithful to me, even when I forget that You are near. Let all of my pictures come out. Give me great wisdom and love, Jesus. T.Y. for loving me so much, Lord. T.Y. for giving me a safe trip so far. Bless me and keep me strong and healthy. T.Y. for how incredibly awful I felt earlier and the way You healed me when the time was right. You are an awesome God! To You be my praise!
Let me sleep on this plane if it's your will. T.Y. that I am on a plane to Greece with a whole bunch of people. Let me have great unexplainable joy, just because You are with me and You are the source of joy. T.Y. Lord for answering my prayers! There is no other God like You in all of the universe! Only You can give me great faith and security! Only You can make me feel the way I should in every single circumstance. Give me great contentment no matter what happens to me. I don't want the circumstances ever to make me feel an evil or wrong way. You are my God and with You I can know what is good and bad. I can know good and evil. Don't let me be deceived.
T.Y. that I met some nice people, so far. Let them seek You with all of their heart and continue to be kind and loving. Take all anger and evil out of us and replace it with great and deep Christian love and forgiveness. T.Y. that I met James and Mary Ann. Bless their time in Israel and Greece. Keep them safe and strong. Let us become better friends if it is your will. (R) You are perfect, that is why I leave all things in your hands! T.Y. that I have You and I didn't come on this trip just to make friends or rub shoulders with authority figures. T.Y. that I came on this trip to learn more about You and Your Word; to get closer to You. You are my Lord, my Savior and my God. There will never be another God like You, Lord Jesus.
T.Y. that I could talk to my dad on the telephone, today. Bless my parents and don't let them worry. Let my experiences bring them closer to You, Savior. T.Y. for being a real God with power and love. You are not fake or make-believe. That is ridiculous! I have seen Your power. I have felt your Spirit. I have seen your miracles in the world around me. I am humbled and I know that You are real. You are my everything. I am so very dependent on You! The world my think I'm pathetic, but I need You every second of every minute of every hour of every day; until the day I die and see You face to face. Without You I die and I make foolish decisions. I'm a complete fool when I go my own way. I run down the path of destruction when I leave You behind. I will walk with You and in your ways. Teach me your ways, O Lord and I will walk in your truth! Show me your paths for I am devoted to You. Purify my heart's desire, I long to be your servant. Give me an undivided heart, so I may fear your name. Give me an undivided heart; there'll be no other gods, no other gods before You! You are my sweet Savior.
T.Y. for bringing me to my knees earlier with pain until I confessed and repented of the sin that was in my closet. I was in serious pain and I wish that I didn't feel so awful, but You knew what it would take to get to me! You created me and You know what is best for me. T.Y. for caring enough to make me repent and seeking You anew. T.Y. for demanding my purity as I enter the Holy land, Israel. You are a God that I cannot describe. You are like nothing I've ever felt or seen. I love You more than I love anything in the entire world, Jesus. You are my source of strength and success. You give me strength and success that I cannot get any other way and I cannot enjoy any other way. You are the one and only way, truth and life. No one will come to the Father in Heaven except through You. T.Y. for opening the door wide for sinners and all people great and small. I have heard the call. I want to have a ball in your hall of faith. Make me very, very, very faithful. I want to move mountains with my faith. Teach me, Jesus. I am your clay, You are the potter.

T.Y. that I had such a good day, today. T.Y. for the fun in this other country. T.Y. that the language barrier is a bit awkward, but not a big problem. Please make things continue to run smoothly. T.Y. that my bus didn't break down and we had such a good tour guide. Bless everyone here and especially the people from Liberty. Give us all a greater appreciation of You, Jesus. You are a good God, despite what the world may think.
T.Y. that I got to see Caesarea by the Sea, Megiddo (Armageddon) and Mount Carmel, today. You are an awesome God! T.Y. for all of the incredible knowledge that You've put in my head. T.Y. for the wisdom to write these things down. You are my everything. Praise and glory and honor be to You, always. T.Y. that I am introspective and I want to be like You so very badly. T.Y. that I pray into the early hours of the morning because I love You more than anything and hunger and thirst for Your righteousness. I love You, Jesus Christ. You are my everything.
T.Y. that I can get baptized in the Sea of Galilee, tomorrow! Bless me a whole lot. Let me see how it felt for Jesus Christ to get baptized in the same place. I am unworthy to be baptized in the same exact place since Jesus was so Holy. But I will not get baptized in the exact same spot. Reveal to me great and wonderful things. Don't keep any truth or good things from me. T.Y. for the hard lessons I have been learning today. T.Y. for the many ways my patience was tested. T.Y. that I grew in my faithfulness to You because I love You and want to be patient, kind and loving. Bless Mary Ann. T.Y. that I got to meet her and she is a nice girl. Give us more Godly love for each other. Let her be an encourager and become wise. Give me great wisdom and help me to encourage people, too. T.Y. for my love for people. Don't let me be naive or deceived.
