Biblical Structures Established for
Training
MCCS 860
| Mark 3:13-16 | Appointing. Jesus appointed the twelve disciples. This divides the work; more can get accomplished. |
| Matthew 10 | Don't deny the power of God to do miracles; use it. Seek and listen to God's specific calling. Stay at a worthy person's house, when traveling. Shake the dust from your feet when leaving a house that rejects the gospel. Be wise and gentle. There will be persecution, but God will protect you; He is faithful. Don't fear man, fear God. Don't deny God. Love God more than anything. Deny yourself. Rewards are real. |
| Matthew 16:18-20 | Peter is told that the church will be built on the rock that was him. Promising and planning for the future. |
| Acts 2:42-47 | Following Christ, fellowship, communion and prayer. Giving to the needy. |
| Acts 18:1-8 | Open your house to believers who are in need. Preach the gospel. If the gospel is rejected, leave those people and preach it to different people. Lead people to Christ and baptize them. |
| Acts 19:1-10 | Talk about spiritual things with Godly people. Baptize in the name of Jesus Christ. Lay hands on people. Don't deny tongues and prophecies. Speak boldly about Christ. Be persistent, but know when it's time to move on. |
| Ephesians 4:11-15 | Accept the role of others; some will be prophets, evangelists, preachers and teachers. Equip and edify (encourage) the body of Christ. Don't be deceived by evil. Speak the truth in love and grow spiritually (seek sanctification through Christ). |
