My wife and I are taking a little trip. Tuesday, we're leaving for the Grand Canyon! The GC is about 8 hours from our home. We're going to be visiting Flagstaff and Sedona, too! Please pray for our safety. I'll bring my laptop, but won't be home to do full-time ministry until Saturday night.

Did you hear the Kent Hovind debate? It was an awesome, live broadcast. I've recorded it and it's over 2 hours long! If you'd like to hear it on MP3 or if you'd like to have the cds (it fills 2 cds), let me know. I'll be uploading it to MP3.com, but it will take about a week or so for them to post it.

Speaking of live broadcasts, I will be streaming our monthly messages in three formats, now: 160 bits per second (cd quality for broadband users), 96 bps (FM radio quality for DSL users) and 24 bps (two cups with a string attached *just kidding* for dial-up users). Last week, JCSM bought and sent 36 Bibles to a prison ministry in Texas! We're thankful for the donation that made this possible. Please pray that the prisoners, the givers and the ministers are all blessed.

Today, we are sending the Bible on audio cd to India! Please pray that it gets there in a timely manner and blesses them. We're excited to be sending it to a fellow minister and his flock.

Please pray for the people that visit JCSM. We had people in 17 different countries visit the main site last week! We're happy to be reaching people all over the world with God's love and truth!

I'm done with my Pentecost Covenant! The last couple days were especially difficult. I'm sure it was the Devil or his demons trying to make me quit or fail to keep my promises. I was faithful, though! I'll post my journals, soon.

The Weekly Devotional Message

Day 1: "The Bible is Scientifically Accurate"

Isaiah 40:22 "It is He who sits above the circle of the earth, And its inhabitants are like grasshoppers, Who stretches out the heavens like a curtain, And spreads them out like a tent to dwell in.

Job 26:7 "He stretches out the north over empty space; He hangs the earth on nothing.

Genesis 15:5 "Then He brought him outside and said, Look now toward heaven, and count the stars if you are able to number them. And He said to him, So shall your descendants be.""

Isaiah 51:6 "Lift up your eyes to the heavens, And look on the earth beneath. For the heavens will vanish away like smoke, The earth will grow old like a garment, And those who dwell in it will die in like manner; But My salvation will be forever, And My righteousness will not be abolished."

Prayer: "Thank you for your awesome Word, Lord. Thank you for having it be scientifically accurate! Thank you for stating things many years before scientists were able to uncover them. Help us to read your Word and understand it. Thank you for the ways your Word can keep us from harm and trouble, today. Bless us and make us wise, Lord. Fill us with your truth and your Spirit. There's no other God like You! Thank you for making everything and knowing everything. In Jesus' name, Amen."

Day 2: "Appreciate God's Creation"

Romans 1:20, 21 "For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse, because, although they knew God, they did not glorify Him as God, nor were thankful, but became futile in their thoughts, and their foolish hearts were darkened."

Psalm 19:1 "The heavens declare the glory of God; And the firmament shows His handiwork."

Genesis 1:1 "In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth."

Psalm 139:14 "I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Marvelous are Your works, And that my soul knows very well."

Psalm 33:8 "Let all the earth fear the LORD; Let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of Him."

Prayer: "Thank you for giving us such incredible things to see and experience! Help us to find You as we look at the world and the universe. Praise You for having the power to create and sustain all things. Let us discover new and awesome things. Help people to understand how You are the Creator of everything. Thank you for creating things that we cannot fully explain or understand. Let us stand in awe of You, Lord. Thank you for being worthy of our honor and praise. Thank you for inspiring people to live and to do great things because of your beauty and wonder. Let the whole world know You and appreciate the things You have done. In Jesus' name, Amen."

Day 3: "Our Transformation"

2 Corinthians 3:18 "But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord."

2 Corinthians 5:17 "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new."

Romans 12:1, 2 "I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God."

Philippians 1:6 "Be confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ."

Prayer: "Thank you for transforming us, Lord! Thank you for taking us the way that we were and making us something new and better. Thank you for being in the 'business' of changing lives for the better. Praise You for being empowering to us! Thank you for being perfect and being able to transform us into Christ-like people. Thank you for never abandoning us. Thank you for loving us more than we realize. Help us to reach out and follow You, Lord. Give us more faith in You. Energize and recharge us. Thank you for transforming as much of us as we will give You. Help us to be selfless. Help us to go for it all. Thank you that we have a limited amount of time on this Earth. Help us to use it wisely! In Jesus' name, Amen."

Day 4: "Reconciliation With God"

2 Corinthians 5:18, 19 "Now all things are of God, who has reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation, that is, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not imputing their trespasses to them, and has committed to us the word of reconciliation."

1 John 1:9 "If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."

1 Corinthians 1:30 "But of Him you are in Christ Jesus, who became for us wisdom from God--and righteousness and sanctification and redemption--that, as it is written, He who glories, let him glory in the LORD."

Romans 5:1, 2 "Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom also we have access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God."

Prayer: "Thank you for wanting to reconcile us to yourself. Thank you for sending Jesus Christ to Earth! Praise You for giving us a way to be forgiven, redeemed and made new. Let us put our trust in Him. Thank you for giving us awesome things if we believe and ask for them. Help people to understand what is at their fingertips, if they'd only ask and receive. Praise You for being a giving God. There's no other God who gives gifts like You do. Thank you for being the one and only uncreated God, making of all things. Lift us up, Lord. Help us to keep fighting the good fight and running this race to win. Hold up our arms when we are feeling weary. Speak to us and encourage us. We need You like never before. Let us do giant miracles in your name. Show us things that we need to see. You are the Glorified One and we want to praise You and know You more. In Jesus' name, Amen."

Day 5: "The Depth of the Deception"

2 Corinthians 11:13-15 "For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into apostles of Christ. And no wonder! For Satan himself transforms himself into an angel of light. Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also transform themselves into ministers of righteousness, whose end will be according to their works."

Mark 13:22 "For false christs and false prophets will rise and show signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect. But take heed; see, I have told you all things beforehand."

Matthew 7:21-23 "Not everyone who says to Me, 'Lord, Lord,' shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. Many will say to Me in that day, 'Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?' And then I will declare to them, 'I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!'"

2 Timothy 3:1-5 "But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come: For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away!"

Prayer: "Help us understand the depth of the deception we are facing. Let us see how the Devil and his helpers have fooled this entire world into thinking a large number of lies are true. Let us fight and win against the powers of darkness, Lord. Thank you that there are a number of Christians who are standing firm and tall, not falling for his lies and exposing the truth. Thank you for the Creation Scientists who have studied and persevered through many trials to share with the world the truth about You. Praise You for putting me in a country where I can hear these people. Let more and more people be exposed to the truth about our origins. Let the public schools begin teaching about Creation. Help students want to hear the truth and everything told to them, not just what some scientists think is the truth. Praise You for knowing all and touching us with your grace and mercy. In Jesus' name, Amen."

Day 6: "How Well Should I Know the Word?"

Psalm 119:11 "Your word I have hidden in my heart, That I might not sin against You."

Colossians 3:16 "Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord."

Joshua 1:8 "This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success."

Proverb 7:2, 3 "Keep my commands and live, And my law as the apple of your eye. Bind them on your fingers; Write them on the tablet of your heart."

Prayer: "Thank you for wanting us to know the Word very well. Help us to memorize it and apply it to our lives. Thank you for giving us the Word in our own language! Let us not take these things for granted. Thank you for giving us Bibles that are inexpensive. Thank you for giving us powerful Bible search programs and tools! Let us understand how blessed we are and how we will be held accountable for our actions or like thereof. Thank you for giving all of us freedom! Let us understand how our entire lives can be spent how we choose. Let us make time for You and make You our number one priority. Forgive us if any single thing has come before You. Change our hearts, God. Let You come before everyone and everything, even ministry, even family and even money. Thank you for directing us into truth and life. Help us not to be demanding and materialistic, but to set You in first place and refuse to take You down. In Jesus' name, Amen."

Day 7: "How Important Is Prophecy?"

1 Corinthians 14:1, 39 "Pursue love, and desire spiritual gifts, but especially that you may prophesy.....desire earnestly to prophesy, and do not forbid to speak with tongues."

Romans 12:6 "Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, let us use them: if prophecy, let us prophesy in proportion to our faith;"

Mark 7:6-9 "He answered and said to them, Well did Isaiah prophesy of you hypocrites, as it is written: This people honors Me with their lips, But their heart is far from Me. And in vain they worship Me, Teaching as doctrines the commandments of men. For laying aside the commandment of God, you hold the tradition of men--the washing of pitchers and cups, and many other such things you do."

1 Thessalonians 5:20, 21 "Do not despise prophecies. Test all things; hold fast what is good."

Revelation 22:18, 19 "For I testify to everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: If anyone adds to these things, God will add to him the plagues that are written in this book; and if anyone takes away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part from the Book of Life, from the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book."

Prayer: "Thank you for giving us Bible prophecy, Lord! Thank you for giving us truth that is outside our time-space dimension. Help us understand how You and only You know the future. Praise You for knowing the future since the beginning. Thank you for never having to guess at it. Tell us what You will, Lord. Let us prophesy. Let us speak your Words of truth. Thank you for trying to warn us of things that are going to happen in our lives and in society. Let us be willing vessels, Lord. Praise You for speaking to the prophets of old about the Messiah and many other future events. Thank you that people wrote the words of the Lord, so people could see them fulfilled! Thank you for the incredible prophecy in Daniel 9 that you fulfilled to the exact day! Help me and everyone else to be mindful of this prophecy and all the others. Praise You for making Jesus Christ the perfect Messiah and the only person who could ever possibly fulfill all the Messianic prophecies like He did! To You be all the glory, honor and praise, forever and ever. In Jesus' name, Amen."
