Hello!
We pray you had a great Christmas and New Year's Day!
Thank you for your prayers for my wife and I as we traveled to Israel. We had absolutely no problems and a really great trip. We spent two weeks seeing most of the country and nearly all of the holy sites.
It was awesome to talk so the people in Israel. The Arabs (and even the Jews) were much friendlier than we had anticipated. By the time we left, we actually felt like we were leaving our friends. Perhaps the Lord will lead us back to Israel to minister to the people. I'd love to share the gospel after making friends with the local people.
Attending the Christmas Eve service in Bethlehem was one of the most exciting things we did. If you read the international news, you'd probably know that Yasser Arafat, the President of the Palestinians) was disallowed to attend the service because he had to cross through Israeli territory to get there. Yasser said he was going and that he'd walk there if he had no other choice! Well, we never saw him, but we made it. We had fun with some of the local kids and the armed soldiers eventually let us into the service and birthplace of Christ.
I'm in the process of putting all my Israel pictures on the web. They should be up within a week. We took 391 pictures with our digital camera and 96 with our regular one. Right now, you can see the site I made after the trip. Go to the following site and click "Inside Israel". Link: http://www.jcsm.org/Contents/VisitIsrael.htm.
The big, international news of the new year is the Euro. Starting on January 1, twelve of the fifteen countries in the European Union (EU) stopped using their old currency and adopted a common currency called the Euro. While this may not seem significant to some, Daniel's prophecy about the revived Roman Empire (the ten toes) refers to a large part of Europe within this new union. Here is a link about the new currency: http://www.raptureme.com/scgi-bin/rrnews_list.cgi?cmd=one&file=rrnews/N.20011231.211249.The_unstoppable.
Speaking of Daniel's prophecies, this week I made a new web page. Daniel's prophecy in chapter 9, verses 24-26 are really incredible. I've been researching it and I made a site that explains this mathematical prophecy. One way God authenticated Jesus as the Christ is by having Him fulfill this prophecy. For the math and the explanation, go here: http://Daniel925.jcsm.org.
If you want to increase your knowledge in the areas of denominations, spiritual gifts, theology, church history, the books of the Bible and world religions, the "Believe: Religious Information Source" has awesome information. It is a fantastic, unbiased resource that I've been using for years. Here is their link: http://members.aol.com/CarlJ99999/believe.html.
Have you heard about the lost ten tribes of Israel? Chuck Missler has a free, online Bible study called the "Mystery of the Myth - The Lost 10 Tribes". If you'd like to see it, just go here: http://www.khouse.org/articles/biblestudy/19950601-40.html.
Our "God's Names" page has been updated. We've added a name and find many of the scriptures for the existing names. Increase your awe of God and check it out: http://www.jcsm.org/biblelessons/godsnames.htm.
Do you live in or near the Southern California area? Do you like DC Talk, Sonicflood or Delirious? If you answered yes, check out www.transparentproductions.com. They have tour and concert information.
Yesterday, I finished a book called "Peace Child". Don Richardson is a missionary and this book told his story about the tribes in Irian Jaya (old New Guinea). It was an incredible book and I finished it in about a week! Don brought the gospel to the Sawi people, even though they were steeped in treachery, cannibalism and headhunting. If you'd like to find it on the web, check www.allbookstores.com.
Recently, a certain skeptic's message was forwarded to me. Apparently, a man named John Murphy had a bad experience in a Christian chat room. After reading his message, I think he deserved the statements that people said to him. He was making anti-biblical statements in the guise of wanting to have a "free-thought conversation". At any rate, you can read his experience and email him from his web site. I did. Link: http://www.reasonworks.com/John_Murphy_1998.html.
Have you IMed me, lately? If so, I'm sorry I couldn't respond. My IMs have been broken for about a month! I've tried to fix them, but I haven't been able to, yet. However, I do respond to all my emails.
Please pray for Australia's firefighters, citizens and wildlife. Over 1,000,000 acres have been burned on their country's continent. Several days ago, there was a 37 mile long wall of fire! You can read about it here: http://dailynews.yahoo.com/h/p/nm/20020103/wl/sydney_bushfires_map.html.
Would you like to see "God's Plan Through Pictures"? I've created a site that highlights major biblical events and characters, with pictures, in order to share the gospel. Here's the link: http://godsplan.jcsm.org.
For your convenience, we've added a navigation bar to many of our old web pages. This will help visitors to surf our sites. This bar will be on all of the new pages, too.
Some liberal Democrats are comparing the "religious right" or "devout Christians" to the Taliban! I know this sounds preposterous, but it's true. Here are two links where you can read about this tragedy. Link 1: http://www.raptureme.com/scgi-bin/rrnews_list.cgi?cmd=one&file=rrnews/N.20020103.023245.Falwell__Dems_A and Link 2: http://www.raptureme.com/scgi-bin/rrnews_list.cgi?cmd=one&file=rrnews/N.20020105.023915.Christianity_Un.
God bless you in your spiritual growth, work and family! This week, I hope you see God's presence in your life in a mighty way.
Please pray for us as we send the gospel. We have sent it to 1,200,000 people in the last month and we have many more millions of people to reach. We really appreciate your prayers.
Are you receiving about twelve pages with this message? If this message is truncated, and perhaps you're only receiving half of it, you can always find these devotions on our web site! Simply go here: http://devos.jcsm.org. Plus, if www.jcsm.org isn't working, please try www.jcsm.net.
This is your ministry, so please feel free to link to JCSM and forward these devotions to your friends and family. On the JCSM website, there are over 1500 links (pictures, midis, Bible lessons, humor, proverbial stories, links, devotions, poetry, prayer journals and much more!) and it has registered over 62,000 hits!
Would you like to support God's work on the web? If this ministry has touched you in a special way, please pray and consider sending a gift to JCSM. You can join us in our vision to reach people on the web with the good news! Please email me or see our address below.
Welcome to the recipients of this message! Here are the devotions, challenge, moment of introspection, the Bible word of the week and the quotations for the week. Have a fantastic week and God bless you!
Love in Christ,

The Weekly Devotional Message
Day 1: "The Mysterious Melchizedek"
Genesis 14:18-20 "Then Melchizedek king of Salem brought out bread and wine; he was the priest of God Most High. And he blessed him and said: Blessed be Abram of God Most High, Possessor of heaven and earth; And blessed be God Most High Who has delivered your enemies into your hand. And he gave him a tithe of all."
Psalm 110:4 "The LORD has sworn And will not relent, You are a priest forever According to the order of Melchizedek."
Hebrews 7:1-25 "For this Melchizedek, king of Salem, priest of the Most High God, who met Abraham returning from the slaughter of the kings and blessed him, to whom also Abraham gave a tenth part of all, first being translated 'king of righteousness,' and then also king of Salem, meaning 'king of peace,' without father, without mother, without genealogy, having neither beginning of days nor end of life, but made like the Son of God, remains a priest continually. Now consider how great this man was, to whom even the patriarch Abraham gave a tenth of the spoils. And indeed those who are of the sons of Levi, who receive the priesthood, have a commandment to receive tithes from the people according to the law, that is, from their brethren, though they have come from the loins of Abraham; but he whose genealogy is not derived from them received tithes from Abraham and blessed him who had the promises. Now beyond all contradiction the lesser is blessed by the better. Here mortal men receive tithes, but there he receives them, of whom it is witnessed that he lives. Even Levi, who receives tithes, paid tithes through Abraham, so to speak, for he was still in the loins of his father when Melchizedek met him. Therefore, if perfection were through the Levitical priesthood (for under it the people received the law), what further need was there that another priest should rise according to the order of Melchizedek, and not be called according to the order of Aaron? For the priesthood being changed, of necessity there is also a change of the law. For He of whom these things are spoken belongs to another tribe, from which no man has officiated at the altar. For it is evident that our Lord arose from Judah, of which tribe Moses spoke nothing concerning priesthood. And it is yet far more evident if, in the likeness of Melchizedek, there arises another priest who has come, not according to the law of a fleshly commandment, but according to the power of an endless life. For He testifies: 'You are a priest forever According to the order of Melchizedek.' For on the one hand there is an annulling of the former commandment because of its weakness and unprofitableness, for the law made nothing perfect; on the other hand, there is the bringing in of a better hope, through which we draw near to God. And inasmuch as He was not made priest without an oath (for they have become priests without an oath, but He with an oath by Him who said to Him: 'The LORD has sworn And will not relent, You are a priest forever According to the order of Melchizedek'), by so much more Jesus has become a surety of a better covenant. Also there were many priests, because they were prevented by death from continuing. But He, because He continues forever, has an unchangeable priesthood. Therefore He is also able to save to the uttermost those who come to God through Him, since He always lives to make intercession for them."
Prayer: "Thank you for the awesome and mysterious things in the Bible! Help us to understand your Word. Thank you for the person of Melchizedek. Thank you for bringing salvation to Gentiles; both now and in the Old Testament. Thank you for loving the entire world! Thank you for having this purpose since the beginning when you made your promise to Abraham. Praise You for dying for everyone and not just a small community or a certain race. Thank you for the richness, depth and perfection of the Bible. Help us to read it and learn. Give us great teachers and study tools, so we can dissect and swallow your awesome and tasty Word. In Jesus' name, Amen."
Day 2: "Epimenides"
Acts 17:26, 27 "And He has made from one blood every nation of men to dwell on all the face of the earth, and has determined their preappointed times and the boundaries of their dwellings, so that they should seek the Lord, in the hope that they might grope for Him and find Him, though He is not far from each one of us."
Romans 1:20-23 "For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse, because, although they knew God, they did not glorify Him as God, nor were thankful, but became futile in their thoughts, and their foolish hearts were darkened. Professing to be wise, they became fools, and changed the glory of the incorruptible God into an image made like corruptible man and birds and four-footed animals and creeping things."
Prayer: "Thank you for letting people know about You. Thank you for taking care of even the natives in the distant parts of the Earth. Let them seek You and find You, Lord. Even though indigenous people call You by a different name, let the world know that there is one, uncreated God and that is You. Thank you for the people who love You and seek You. Cause missionaries to seek and find the lost ones and lead them to Jesus Christ. Show the missionaries the right redemptive analogy to use and unlock the key to their unbelief. Thank you for the bold people that have ventured into the world to lead people to You! Bless and protect them. To You be all the glory, honor and praise! In Jesus' name, Amen."
Day 3: "Unclean Spirits or Demons"
Mark 1:23, 24 "Now there was a man in their synagogue with an unclean spirit.
And he cried out, saying, 'Let us alone! What have we to do with You, Jesus of Nazareth? Did You come to destroy us? I know who You are the Holy One of God!'"
Matthew 8:29 "And suddenly they cried out, saying, 'What have we to do with You, Jesus, You Son of God? Have You come here to torment us before the time?' Now a good way off from them there was a herd of many swine feeding. So the demons begged Him, saying, 'If You cast us out, permit us to go away into the herd of swine.'"
James 2:19 "You believe that there is one God. You do well. Even the demons believe and tremble!"
Luke 8:27-30 "And when He stepped out on the land, there met Him a certain man from the city who had demons for a long time. And he wore no clothes, nor did he live in a house but in the tombs. When he saw Jesus, he cried out, fell down before Him, and with a loud voice said, 'What have I to do with You, Jesus, Son of the Most High God? I beg You, do not torment me!' For He had commanded the unclean spirit to come out of the man. For it had often seized him, and he was kept under guard, bound with chains and shackles; and he broke the bonds and was driven by the demon into the wilderness. Jesus asked him, saying, 'What is your name? And he said, 'Legion,' because many demons had entered him."
Ephesians 6:12 "For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places."
Acts 19:13-16 "Then some of the itinerant Jewish exorcists took it upon themselves to call the name of the Lord Jesus over those who had evil spirits, saying, 'We exorcise you by the Jesus whom Paul preaches.' Also there were seven sons of Sceva, a Jewish chief priest, who did so. And the evil spirit answered and said, 'Jesus I know, and Paul I know; but who are you?' Then the man in whom the evil spirit was leaped on them, overpowered them, and prevailed against them, so that they fled out of that house naked and wounded."
Matthew 10:1 "And when He had called His twelve disciples to Him, He gave them power over unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all kinds of sickness and all kinds of disease."
Luke 7:21 "And that very hour He cured many of infirmities, afflictions, and evil spirits; and to many blind He gave sight."
Revelation 16:13-16 "And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs coming out of the mouth of the dragon, out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet. For they are spirits of demons, performing signs, which go out to the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty. 'Behold, I am coming as a thief. Blessed is he who watches, and keeps his garments, lest he walk naked and they see his shame.' And they gathered them together to the place called in Hebrew, Armageddon."
Prayer: "Thank you for the reality of the spiritual, supernatural world. Thank you that we have guardian angels in the heavenly realms, protecting us from evil. Bless us and bless the angels, Lord. Don't let them fall. Don't let us fall, either. Lift us up and keep us strong. Thank you for loving us and wanting us to prosper. Help us to sense when evil spirits are near. Increase our discernment. Reveal to us what to do when fallen angels, unclean spirits and demons are nearby. Thank you for giving us the Holy Spirit to sense these things. You are an awesome God! Thank you for making it impossible for the evil beings to come near the light of the truth and the worship and praise of You! In Jesus' name, Amen."
Day 4: "Perfect Timing"
John 7:6 and 8 read, "....my time has not yet come....You go up to this feast. I am not yet going up to this feast, for My time has not yet fully come."
Matthew 8:29 "And suddenly they cried out, saying, 'What have we to do with You, Jesus, You Son of God? Have You come here to torment us before the time?'"
Matthew 13:30 "Let both grow together until the harvest, and at the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, 'First gather together the tares and bind them in bundles to burn them, but gather the wheat into my barn.'"
Matthew 26:18 "And He said, 'Go into the city to a certain man, and say to him, 'The Teacher says, 'My time is at hand; I will keep the Passover at your house with My disciples.'"
Prayer: "Thank you for having perfect timing, Lord. Thank you for not being a haphazard God. Help us to understand your order. Thank you for insisting on your timing when our timing would be foolish and pitiful. Help us to conform to your will. Thank you for knowing infinitely more than we do. Praise You for being in control and holding our life and our destiny in your hand! Remind us that we cannot obtain any more security, in this world, than the security that You give! Give us joy with our patience. Give us all of your attributes; even the "hard" or "unpopular" ones. Let us glory You, Lord. In Jesus' name, Amen."
Day 5: "This Present Greed"
Luke 16:19-31 "There was a certain rich man who was clothed in purple and fine linen and fared sumptuously every day. But there was a certain beggar named Lazarus, full of sores, who was laid at his gate, desiring to be fed with the crumbs which fell from the rich man's table. Moreover the dogs came and licked his sores. So it was that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels to Abraham's bosom. The rich man also died and was buried. And being in torments in Hades, he lifted up his eyes and saw Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom. Then he cried and said, 'Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus that he may dip the tip of his finger in water and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame.' But Abraham said, 'Son, remember that in your lifetime you received your good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things; but now he is comforted and you are tormented. And besides all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed, so that those who want to pass from here to you cannot, nor can those from there pass to us.' Then he said, 'I beg you therefore, father, that you would send him to my father's house, for I have five brothers, that he may testify to them, lest they also come to this place of torment.' Abraham said to him, 'They have Moses and the prophets; let them hear them.' And he said, 'No, father Abraham; but if one goes to them from the dead, they will repent.' But he said to him, 'If they do not hear Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded though one rise from the dead.'"
2 Timothy 3:1-5 "But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come: For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away!"
1 Timothy 6:9, 10 "But those who desire to be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and harmful lusts which drown men in destruction and perdition. For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil, for which some have strayed from the faith in their greediness, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows."
John 6:27 "Do not labor for the food which perishes, but for the food which endures to everlasting life, which the Son of Man will give you, because God the Father has set His seal on Him."
Romans 12:1, 2 "I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God."
Prayer: "Thank you for the many lessons on money and materialism. Help us to stay away from the trap of thinking we need too many things. Thank you for blessing me with so much. Thank you for blessing the United States so much, too. Help us to use our things for your glory and not simply for our closet or our ego. Thank you for giving and taking away. Let us use things wisely and see things how they truly are. Give us great wisdom, so we can do the best things with the stuff You give us. Praise You for being such a good God. Thank you for not giving me too much, so I won't be too distracted. Remind us that You are perfect in your ways and if you're keeping something from us, it is for our ultimate benefit. In Jesus' name, Amen."
Day 6: "Pray and Watch for Miracles"
Ephesians 3:20 "Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen."
Joshua 3:5 "And Joshua said to the people, 'Sanctify yourselves, for tomorrow the LORD will do wonders among you.'"
1 Thessalonians 5:17 "Pray without ceasing."
John 14:12, 13 "Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father. And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son."
Jeremiah 33:3 "Call to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know."
Prayer: "Thank you for doing miracles all of the time. Help us to watch and see them. Forgive us for forgetting what You have done. Let us record what you've done, so we will never forget. Thank you for giving us the miracle of human life and the even greater miracle of eternal life and forgiveness! Let us understand what we have been given and continuously rejoice in thankfulness to You! Thank you for doing many other miracles. Thank you for a great job, Christian friends, a nice family and so much more! Let us all examine ourselves, see what You have given us and thank You for the miracles that You have done. In Jesus' name, Amen."
Day 7: "Take Communion"
Matthew 26:26-29 "And as they were eating, Jesus took bread, blessed and broke it, and gave it to the disciples and said, 'Take, eat; this is My body.' Then He took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, 'Drink from it, all of you. For this is My blood of the new covenant, which is shed for many for the remission of sins. But I say to you, I will not drink of this fruit of the vine from now on until that day when I drink it new with you in My Father's kingdom.'"
Luke 22:14-20 "When the hour had come, He sat down, and the twelve apostles with Him. Then He said to them, 'With fervent desire I have desired to eat this Passover with you before I suffer; for I say to you, I will no longer eat of it until it is fulfilled in the kingdom of God. Then He took the cup, and gave thanks, and said, 'Take this and divide it among yourselves; for I say to you, I will not drink of the fruit of the vine until the kingdom of God comes. And He took bread, gave thanks and broke it, and gave it to them, saying, 'This is My body which is given for you; do this in remembrance of Me. Likewise He also took the cup after supper, saying, "This cup is the new covenant in My blood, which is shed for you.'"
Prayer: "Thank you for giving us a ritual that commemorates your sacrifice for our sins. Help us to do what You have commanded and never forget what you've done for us. Thank you for instituting communion and telling us to continue doing it together. Thank you for the body of believers that are present when we do communion. Let us come together and praise You with our obedience. Let us consider what You have done and let it sink in to our hearts, minds and spirit. Lift us up, Lord. Give us strength and help us to be like You. Thank you for doing an awesome thing for us. Thank you for giving your life! Let us be sacrificial givers, too, ready to give what we have for others. Thank you for giving your life for people who didn't love You; even for people that hated You! Let us love our enemies and give without expecting something in return. To You be all the glory, honor and praise, forever and ever. In Jesus' name, Amen."
Challenge
Take communion!
Communion was an institution or "sacrament" given by Jesus Christ. He told us to take the juice and the bread and consume them in memory of Him. Have you ever taken communion?
Most Christians have taken communion many times. My church does communion once a month. I give my Bible classes communion once a month. If you need any additional information on communion, please email me. God bless you as you meet this week's challenge!
A Moment of Introspection
Have you ever seen God do a miracle? I don't necessarily mean a healing like God healing blindness or something. God does miracles all the time. Miracles are things that we could not do or things that defy the laws of nature.
Keep an eye out for God's miracles! Don't miss them. Write what you find.
The Bible Word of the Week
proverb: a wise saying
The Quotations of the Week
Sin is not bad because it is forbidden. Sin is forbidden because it is bad.
Faith takes action.
Faith can also watch and wait.
Act on what the Bible says and watch what God does.
The greatest part of faith isn't our actions; it's God's actions.
Watch for God to do the "woooo" miracle.
Too many times we want to misdefine miracles and miss them altogether.
What is your definition of a miracle?
A miracle is when God does something we can't do.
If you don't think God can do great things, why pray?
Huge miracles must be expected.
When the Word tells you to do something, you must believe that God will do something exceedingly greater than you could do because of your faithfulness.
Our actions are like the commercials while God's actions are like the movie.
Your diligence in sanctifying yourself is directly related to your faith in God doing miracles in your life.
If you don't think God will do anything, you won't do anything.
If you really believe God will bless you, you will obey Him.
Prove that you believe in God and prayer by praying to Him.
When hard times come, glorify God with your positive attitude.
God's huge miracles glorify God.
Praise God for His miracles.
Don't call miracles coincidences.
Babies take 40 days to be born from the fertilization of the egg; not 9 months.
Birth is a miracle.
God's miracles are always needed.
When you walk by faith, God will put you in a position where you need a miracle.
Faith doesn't mean you don't use your senses, but faith often requires you to avoid using your senses to make your decision.
God's miracles are always complete.
When you ask God for something, He has the prerogative to say "no".
I'm even blessed with my problems.
Evidence of God's miracles must be collected.
When God does something amazing in your life, write it down.
If you're married, you should recognize at least one of God's miracles.
Double-check what your pastors, teachers, friends and musical influences are saying with God's Word and make sure it's congruent.
The longer you keep yourself from surrendering to God, the longer you keep yourself from His blessings.
Demons oppose God's plans.
An unnecessary exorcism never hurt anybody.
If your faith hasn't defied logic yet, you don't have a lot of faith.
If Jesus wasn't God, when He forgave sins, He was committing blasphemy and should have been stoned to death.
Jesus never needed to pray in the sense that we need to pray.
Jesus prayed for us to see our need for prayer and for us to see how to pray.
These quotes came from God, me, the Inspirational Study Bible (with Max Lucado) and Miles McPhearson.
These quotes can be used for sanctification and fun. Most of them are directly based on scripture and scriptural principles. Some of my quotes are humorous or rhetorical. Some are written from sermons and Bible studies. Others are lyrics from songs. If you'd like me to go into more detail on any of them, please email me.
Like most verses in the Bible, they can be debated. To use what I've written in the most beneficial way, try and trace them back to the scriptures and apply the true principles to your life in a meaningful way! Please don't sell my quotes or publish them for profit. If English is not your first language, you may not understand some of the quotes. I'm sorry, but some of them are English metaphors and deal with multiple word meanings. God bless you all!
Please make a commitment to pray for this ministry. As every believer is tempted and tried, this ministry faces trials also. God has blessed me, JCSM and the people who have been reached! Unfortunately, the enemy knows this and spiritual warfare is the result. Please at least pray that the devotions continue to be sent religiously, the web pages stay on the www and the subscribers are blessed, sanctified and protected from evil. Thank you very much in advance!
Do you want to help people receive the good news? We share the gospel over 2.5 million times each year! Please join us in the great commission. We're reaching new people every day with God's awesome Word! If God has blessed you and you wish to send a love offering to me and my ministry, please send it here:

You can join our vision and help this ministry! Your donations will keep these ministries running and further our visions for evangelism. Hundreds of web pages have been created to lead people to the Lord. Frequently, we make new ones and they are used to bring more and more people into a closer relationship with Jesus Christ. We're certain there will be more ways to reach people in the future.
Along with getting support, we also give support! JCSM regularly gives to churches and needy people. Another function of this ministry is to do counseling. We are always answering questions about life, the Lord and everything in between. Lastly, we do a lot of research on religious topics on the internet and library. You will definitely see the results of our hard work and your loving support, in the web pages, and in the weekly devotions!
For more about me and my service history, go to http://resume.jcsm.org. For what I do, my ministries and giving, go to http://vision.jcsm.org.
If you have received these devotions from someone other than JCSM, please email us and we will send them to you, personally, each week. Don't worry. We don't send forwards or any other junk mail. Plus, we refrain from giving your name to anyone.
The devotions are sent on Saturday and Sunday nights. The gospel is sent on the 11th of every month and the monthly newsletter is sent on the 20th. These are the only messages we send, however, please email me us you wish to be removed from this list. If you prefer to receive the devotions in Spanish, send us a request because the devotions have been reaching the Spanish speaking community for over a year!
If you have never accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, please email me! I would love to share the gospel with you. The Bible is very straightforward when it speaks about Heaven, Hell and eternal life. If there is any doubt that you are going to Heaven when you die, please let me know today!
Are you having trouble in life and need someone to talk to? You can call the youth crisis hotline at 1-800-HIT-HOME, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Their motto is "help, not hassle". YDI pays for these calls and has helped over 1 million people! They are also looking for people to answer calls. Their web site is at www.1800hithome.com.
Would you like to feed starving people by simply clicking a button and paying absolutely nothing? Sponsors pay to donate food to hungry people all over the world. I click these nearly every day. It takes about 10 seconds and it donates food to needy people! Go here: www.stopthehunger.com and here www.thehungersite.com.
Go here to donate free Bibles to people: www.TheBibleSite.org. If you want to join a Christian organization that helps feed and clothe poor people, check into World Vision. You can see their site here: www.worldvision.com. Compassion International is another, great Christian organization that rivals World Vision. You can visit them here: www.ci.org.
Do you believe in evolution? If you can prove that the evolution of species has happened, Dr. Dino will give you $250,000. I know Kent Hovind and this is a legitimate offer. For more information, please see his web site: http://www.drdino.com.
JCSM now does regular mailings! If you are getting rid of your email or know someone who wants the devotions, but doesn't have email, please give us their address and we'll send them the devotions. If you don't have internet access, but want to read a certain web page or Bible lesson, let us know. We can copy and paste something into an email message for you. If you have internet access and need a great, online, study Bible, go here: www.biblestudytools.net. I recommend using either the King James Version or the New King James Version Bible.
JCSM operates in Oceanside, California, United States. This ministry has been certified by the Evangelical Ministries to New Religions. EMNR is an accrediting body for sound, Christian ministries that preach the true gospel of God to people in other religions and cults. Their web site is located here: http://www.emnr.org.
