When you read these links, please consider a few things. First, the scrutiny of a document doesn't necessarily have anything to do with a person. Does it? In other words, if you want to sincerely analyze religious writings, a person should have nothing to do with it.
These religions below have been analyzed through the lens of biblical Christianity (as we understand it). The Bible has been used as the litmus test for all other religions and holy books. You can agree or disagree with this process, but that is what was done.
Please be evenhanded and gracious when you consider other people. Everyone is on a different path. We have all been taught lies and truths and we are all trying to be good people - at least to some degree. Please read and analyze holy books with an open mind and try to discover why they were written. Consider when they were written and who they were written to.
If any of these writings offends you, please let me know. I do not wish to offend people who are trying hard to find the truth and be the best they can be. On the contrary, I think a lot of the religious books in existence need to be scrutinized. It is my hope that we ALL can scrutinize EVERY religious book the same way one day. I'm not saying they all need a rewrite, but they might. Whatever the case may be, we need to be smart and we need to transcend what we've been taught and decide now to discover the truth and embrace it - whatever it may be.
